The front desk staff do not listen to the concerns of guests but rather argumentative only towards protecting the interest of the hotel and never cared what your complaints are. On the day of my arrival I was made to stand waiting for 3 Hours even though I arrived 3 Hours after the normal checking in time, they spent the 3 Hours arguing about my online payment which was already done on Trip.com yet they said they could not find the payment history when in fact they did not have the patience to read the system well and locate the payment history but rather demanded me to pay again for bookings which were actually paid online until I had to show them how to read the system to solicit the information (I had communicated with trip.com with complains and shown the payment receipt to the hotel and they still could not comply until I showed them how to read the information on their own computer;before I could be allowed to check in). Also, at breakfast, I was made to pay again after I have booked a room with two breakfast included but hotel refused to understand and even after showing the booking information on the system which clearly indicated Breakfast X2 per day so I ended up paying again for the breakfasts to avoid embarrassment. The restaurant staff were very unprofessional and careless about hygiene (the bread spoon had fallen to the floor and one of them picked it and dropped it right back into the breadbasket without replacing or cleaning it before putting it back into the breads). "DO NOT DISTURB" signage meant nothing to the cleaning team who continuously banged on the door because they wanted to iron or pick up your laundry even without you making a previous request for such services. I have never seen in any part of the world where hotel staff compete with hotel guests to take the lifts (elevator) leaving the guests waiting for the next ones (hahahaha). Staff were unfriendly and rude.

Pleasant for short stays. Well located and close to the business district

The location is in the city center. There is a supermarket nearby. The security is very good and the room is large.

Poor food disorganized hotel

Excellent hôtel well located, great people and service, the food is really nice at the buffet. The staff and friendly and welcoming. Room is affordable and quite good. Nice Spa as well you can enjoy a nice pedicure and manicure. The reception area is well managed. Over all is a great hotel for a solo trip to Abidjan while conducting business.

The hotel is relatively clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious with a TV that is YouTube and Netflix compatible. The bathrooms are good. Unfortunately the hotel itself is quite run down. The doors to bedrooms are not soundproof and there is a gap at the bottom. This means you are woken up each morning by loud noises from the corridor at around 7am. The key cards also fail constantly, during my three night state I had to have my keycard reprogrammed at least 10 times despite keeping it in the provided wallet and not near any electrical devices. This meant that I had to visit reception constantly and was a real pain. The food offering is also disappointing. The pizzas are okay but the buffet offered leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you are vegetarian which thankfully I am not. The staff are incredible though, they are doing everything they can with the technology and infrastructure they have, but for around $100 a night this hotel is disappointing and I got better value in a local airbnb prior to my stay in the hotel. The WiFi could not cope with the conference that was occurring unfortunately either which was disappointing. The hotel is clearly trying to model itself as upmarket but the food offer, the technology and the state of the rooms needs to be worked on a lot before it is worth $100 a night.

I was very happy with my stay. I had a room that included a living room and kitchenette and it was extremely comfortable. Overall the room and hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, helpful, and very hard working, it had good air conditioning, and a big continental breakfast spread! :)

I had a delightful experience at Ivotel. Herman extended a warm welcome and displayed utmost courtesy. The check-in process, conducted by Herman and the rest of the staff, was highly professional. Similarly, during the check-out, Anoh and Christelle provided exceptional service, ensuring yet another positive experience. Ivotel is a commendable establishment for lodging.

Wow very pressed by the best personal hospitality this hotel offers. Great food and big amazing rooms, very clean and very professional staffs with smiles and deep respect, very peaceful. I had a wonderful experience at Ivotel. Mr ANOH extended a warm and highly professional welcome. Ivotel is a most commendable establishment for lodging. Clean, spacious, and quite rooms, in addition to professional staff, insure you a successful business trip.

Pleasant, clean, convenient and comfortable, with great service from everyone! Breakfast buffet was good, lunch buffet was amazing in variety and quality. But the best was the capitaine fish filet, recommended by the waitress the first night!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ivotel and would always go back. It’s a beautiful and serene environment with good staffs.
