A really cool guest house! An excellent common room to relax at the end of the day and perhaps meet other guests and chat a little. The room wasn't very big, but it had everything you need, it was comfortable and warm. We were very well received! The location is perfect, leave your car in the accommodation's free parking lot and you can walk to different parts of the town: several walks, restaurants, cafes and the whiskey distillery!! Ask the hosts, they give you lots of tips. The best part for me was the breakfast! Home made, full of flavor!

We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed our stay. The Balearn is only 4/5 minutes from the town centre and even closer to The Birks The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the shower was excellent There is plenty of on site parking Our breakfasts, which need to be ordered the previous evening, were very good and there was a decent choice.

I will definitely come back! A great welcome upon arrival, super clean and comfy beds. The house has a special touch of class and down to earth "that little extra". Run by a couple with warm hearts interesting making you feel welcomed with integrity. Thank you for having me!

Lovely house we had a ground floor room really good size with a sitting area tea and coffee and ensuite with a shower over the bath. There was a garden to sit outside and a sitting room to use as well. The host was really good. Breakfast was good and catered for my gluten intolerance.

We loved our stay, everything from the welcome to the goodbye was perfect. A lovely old house full of character with everything modern you need inside. Beautiful bedding and towels, comfy bed and pillows, shower pressure that would scrape your skin off, lovely toiletries, great hospitality tray and a perfect breakfast. A warm welcome and a cheery goodbye sealed the stay. Highly recommend.

An absolutely gorgeous stay! The room was fantastic, great bathroom, and all really clean! The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely gorgeous! If you're in or around Aberfeldy (which you should be because Aberfeldy is such an amazing place!) then highly recommend Balnearn House, it's absolutely ideal!

Fabulous first stop on our Scotland coast 500 journey. Beautiful house ran by a lovely couple. House was quiet, comfy bed, car park spacious option to use a communal sitting room. The breakfast was outstanding hot fresh and so tasty!!! A must visit if visiting the area.

Here we are again! We have been coming here for over 10 years and we would not have it any other way . Mark & Claire always make us feel very welcome, the house is always spotless & the bedrooms have everything you could possibly want, comfortable bed & lovely decor. Any breakfast that you choose is always freshly made & served with a smile . We read in a June review, that Mark was “quiet” at breakfast which we find very surprising & hard to believe as there is always a jolly good morning plenty of little chats with guests. We are already booked in for Hogmanay & July next year . Highly recommended. Cathryn & Roy Kelly
