This is just a lovely place to stay. Philippa and Colin are perfect hosts who give the right balance of attention and privacy. The beds are so comfortable, the attention to detail is appreciated and the rooms are welcoming. The location is perfect and we are repeat customers as are many guests. It’s easy to see why people want to return.

Would highly recommend this lush B&B. Clean, comfortable, welcoming. Hosted by Phillipa & Colin who provided everything you would hope for. The personal touches throughout just scream attention to detail in a tasteful, well thought out way. Breakfast was lovely, well presented and ample to set you up for the day. Our sea view room "Beach Walk" was so comfortable and the views exceptional. Will definitely go again at some point.

Stayed for 2 nights. Phillipa & Colin have created a beautiful and comfortable boutique bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, Colin's full Welsh breakfast should not be missed. Stayed on the 2nd floor with lovely sea views. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a fantastic few days at Awel Y Mor. We absolutely love Aberdovey and are delighted to have found this lovely B&B. Colin & Philippa have made a wonderful, immaculate but still truly homely base for their visitors. Everything was fabulous - gorgeous room, fantastically comfy bed, glorious front view, superb shower! We had such a lovely welcome from Philippa so we immediately felt at home, and nothing was too much trouble. Colin’s breakfasts were amazing, really delicious - what a great team they make! We can’t wait to come back again - thank you Philippa and Colin for being part of the magic of Aberdovey⭐️ We’re so happy we found you!💝

Myself and my mom stayed in the 3rd floor room with a beautiful sea view. The room was absolutely spotless! And very much a boutique room with modern appliances. The beds were pure luxury and had a fabulous sleep. The host could not do more for you and the breakfast was second to non. Thanks Philippa and Colin x

This is a modern, well equipped property and its hosts were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble . We stayed in the double room with armchairs in the bay window overlooking the beach and the sea. Perfect. Will definitely be revisiting. Think we’ve found our Aberdyfi bolt hole!!!

Have been staying in Aberdyfi for many years, mainly at the Penhelig (disappointed last stay) and what a find Awel y Mor was. We had a room at the back on the second floor. All the rooms are modern, spotlessy clean and we had a lovely bathroom with walk in shower. View at the back was not unpleasent. There is a car park across the road and a permit from AyM is £6 for 24 hours. Philippa and Colin were great and nothing was too much trouble. Great choice at breakfast and an excellent meal cooked by Colin. Will definately be our first choce for a return visit. (There is a new bar in Aberdyfi called Tides Inn-a bit expensive but worth a try)

Fantastic B&B, warm welcome from Phillippa and Colin and what a fantastic property. Finished to a very high standard throughout (Hynos beds) and very we appointed in the quieter end of Aberdyfi near the dunes. Lovely view across the Dyfi Estuary to Ynyslas. Breakfast was fantastic and beautifully served.

Brilliant b&b, many hotels could learn from the way Philippa and Colin run the Awel y Mor. The accommodation is 5 star with some lovely touches you wouldn’t expect. For those wanting easy beach this is location is superb. Thank you both for making our stay so memorable, loved Aberdovey, will definitely be returning.
