"Really nice Chinese couple running this place. The breakfast was good enough and the room was well thought through - with a load of coathangers and a multipoint extension lead just next to the bed. It would be a good idea to take your own shampoo/shower gel though. Quiet place. I went over a weekend, so was able to park outside on the road: the facilities appeared to include free parking when I booked, but I didn't see a car park. I would stay there again."
"Very central location in Union Square shopping centre. Staff were friendly and corteous. Rooms were clean with amazing beds and pillows. I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel and will certainly go back."
"On arrival we were left waiting for nearly a hour even though we had booked online the cooked breakfast was good on the Saturday morning however on the Sunday morning it was overcooked no toast no alternative also on the Saturday morning the breakfast area was so untidy with dirty plates on nearly all vacant seats the good point was we got a great sleep on the Friday however on the Saturday about 2am we were rudely awakened by a guest shouting and screaming in the corridor"
"Excellent modern hotel ! Comfy rooms & quiet unlike many other hotels where you hear people passing corridors and shutting doors!
Overall excellent has everything you need for stop over hotel!"
"Unfortunately our room smelt of damp/wet dog so went to reception to inform them and asked for an air freshener, the gentleman at reception went and spoke with someone else and then took me to see 2 other rooms, these rooms both had the same smell so we stuck with the room we were currently in as we had our 4 year old with us. The gentleman from reception came back with some air freshener spray which I was allowed to use and then he took it away again.
We have stayed here a few times before and never noticed the smell. The carpet was filthy/old as well which was probably where the smell was coming from.
The breakfast was okay, 1 pancake machine which took ages to make pancakes which our 4 year old wanted but because it was popular there was always a queue, could be doing with another couple of them?
I don't think we will stay here again, which is unfortunate as it's where we usually stay as it's easy to get to and not right in the middle of the city and has ample parking."
"I really loved my stay, it was the best stay I've had in a long time, the price quality was. So good, great value for money. The room feels luxurious and everything is spotless clean. Loved the kitchen with dishwasher and all. Fully equipped. So good. Breakfast was included and was basic but very good, specially the apricot pastry. Staff was incredibly nice as well."
"Very nice hotel, the view from the room is very good, you can see the sunset while lying on the bed, very comfortable. There are direct buses from the hotel to the city center, and the transportation is very convenient. Overall, it is very good."
"You can find the location by following google map
No service staff, you can ring or dial the phone to enter, after entering the keys are unified on the right hand side table
Don't expect too much for beds, in line with general conditions
But we thought the toilet was in the room and it turned out to be going out from another door (two doors inside) to get to the toilet and shower
The lock looks very springy
People upstairs can hear obvious walking sounds even if they walk lightly"
"The room was clean and it was possible to get food up to 9pm. The car park is limited but there is nearby carparks that have free parking from 8pm to 8am."
"Although the room was a little dated, all the amenities were good. The shower could do with being updated as was quite old with little water pressure. Went to the bar and they had a good selection of drinks and food. Breakfast in the morning was also enjoyable. Staff were happy to help and kindly ordered us a taxi for the evening.
Only gripe would be the parking situation, which frankly was disappointing. Many guests like myself arrived mid afternoon to a full car park with no spaces. Turned out this was because the hotel rents out spaces to offshore workers/holidaymakers. Fair enough as a side hustle, but at least keep a reasonable amount for your guests."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is well located within the city centre. Heater in the room was exceptional for winter, with a fan for air circulation. The lift was down on the first day, had to drag my luggage up to the 4th floor. It was repaired the next day. Front desk was helpful & approachable. The room was acceptable for a solo traveller & house keeping was good too.

Very Good
刚刚刚好旅行Very good, breakfast is good, the location is convenient, the hotel is modern, the surrounding environment is very good, there are bus stations nearby, it is easy to get out of the city, and the rooms can see the sunrise.
GGuest UserWe recently went on a family trip and stayed for two nights, making two separate bookings. On the last night, the receptionist informed us that our room was not included for children. However, the website clearly stated that children under 12 stay for free. I didn't want to argue in front of the kids, but despite the receptionist's smile, we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
GGuest UserConvenient location for this couple who are exploring Scotland via Rail. Nice big and comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast for £9! Can’t do much better than that!
The old building has been beautiful preserved, yet enhanced, which was part of the appeal for us.

GGuest UserArrived late due to a late inbound flight and was still attended to. The amenities were decent, nothing extraordinary, but fine, especially for the location and price.

GGuest UserHotel staff very friendly.
If you needed anything they would bend over backwards to help you.
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Will definitely be back 😀
GGuest UserWent for breakfast, the fire alarm was going off in the restaurant, staff did not know how to switch the alarm off, everyone stayed in the room, staff continued to work. After 10/15 minutes I went to Premier Inn reception to complain as the noise was deafening. The manager had to go the the restaurant to ask the breakfast guests to leave and organise how to switch the alarm off. She apologies and refunded our breakfast cost, good for her. But where is the staff weekly training. There could have been a real fire and they were clueless.
GGuest UserNot a great experience! We turned up at this hotel and they offered us a choice of 2 rooms - one with a soaking wet carpet (they had just washed it) or a broken bathroom light. There were no other rooms available so we went for the soaking wet carpet and asked for slippers to keep our feet dry. When we went for breakfast we were told the kitchen was closed so had some very basic continental breakfast (clearly from a local supermarket). The staff were friendly and apologetic but we didn't get a discount or refund and definitely wouldn't book again.

GGuest UserThe address advertised is incorrect. I walked to the address on Union Street and had to Google search the actual location. The accommodation was actually in an alley on Rose Street at the opposite end of Union Street. When phoning the property, it was a London number, not Aberdeen. I had to find the property down an unmarked alley and a mobile number was on the door. Fortunately, the maid was pleasant and helpful.
