Crown Central Apartments

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. We had apartment C on the ground floor. Flat was nice and clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay. Only comment would be, for a longer stay, it would be quite cramped for four people, but given the price, it’s definitely great value overall. Would definitely stay again.

Suitable for what we needed We were staying one night for a local competition. Managed to get parked but the car park was very tight. Back door was wedged open so not too sure about security here. The hallway needs cleaned up a lot, it does not give a good impression. Once into the apartment we were pleasently surprised, it was modern and clean and was more than suitable for the overnight stay. The apartment was freezing though and only electric heaters for high ceiling rooms takes ages to heat up. Lovely big old fashioned sash windows with really poor noise and insulating performance, could do with curtains or internal shutters. Kitchen was small but well designed and we were able to cook our meals easily. Only 2 forks for 3 of us and no freezer compartment in the fridge. We slept well and access / exit was all very straightforward. Shower is low pressure and the shower head is very loose on the wall. Would stay again for a night but maybe would not stay longer than this for us.
