AWFUL I was due to check in from 3pm but got a call at 3.30pm just as I was arriving to tell me that check in was delayed by 4hours not ideal. Due to a prior commitment, I had at 6.30pm I had to attend I finally got to the hotel at 10pm, when I got to my room, I immediately started to look for other accommodation because the room was filthy, and the décor was stained and marked from top to bottom. Then I entered the bathroom this had cobwebs on the ceiling and the floor had clearly not been proper cleaned in months was ***** and grime embedded around the full floor perimeter it was honestly Grimm. I then left for another hotel as this wasn’t fit to sleep in. Contacted the hotel via phone as there was no one on reception and was told the were sorry. Waited a week after sending my photos in to be told they would refund me the full cost as a good will gesture, which is an insult as the room was horrendous and a 4-hour delay on check inn there was no good will at all. I was hoping they would be willing just to cover the cost of the new hotel room I had to get elsewhere but was told no because I never gave them chance to sort the issues out and chose just to leave. A hotel is judge on first impressions and after a 4-hour delay and a room that was rotten I wasn’t willing to give them a 3rd chance especially at 11pm at night. I’m a contractor and am used to not stopping in luxury but this place must be avoided for health reasons.
