Au Jardin des Deux Ponts

Beautiful garden oasis surprise in the middle of Abbeville. The suite had everything we needed and our host, Florence, was lovely. The breakfast option delivered to our door every morning was great!

There is nothing you can fault here, fully equipped apartments with the added bonus of the host Florence on site to help whenever necessary. I would recommend staying here within a heartbeat and we are now making sure we return very soon..... Abbeville was not even our chosen destination, but we are definitely returning. Au Jardins des deux Ponts was our destination. Found on TripAdvisor following reviews. It's important to say again that our home here was our destination. To start our messaging Florence was more than helpful and welcoming. When we arrived Florence was friendly and informative. Our accommodation was beautiful but I have to add that the garden is superb. We were planning to travel but it turned out that we had reached our destination with Florence. We plan to return in December if Florence will have us.

In the centre of the village Abbeville but behind the gate a surprise: a beautiful house with a big green garden. Very friendly hosts. Recommanded!

We returned to Abbeville and the Au Jardin des deux Ponts as we have done most years since 2011. We had a very enjoyable week’s holiday using “Le Gîte des Deux Ponts” this was on the first floor, reached by a short flight of steps outside the building and a staircase inside. The dining / kitchen is well equipped with cupboards (with ample supplies of crockery and cutlery), there are dishwasher, cooker and fridge freezer and TV. The very attractive bedroom has a magnificent view over the beautiful and very large garden. There is a modern shower in the spacious shower room Parking is outside off-road or in the car park of the Carrefour Super-Market across the road. As well as having the Carrefour Supermarket there is a Boulangerie just around the corner and local shops, and an Intermarché Supermarket a short drive away. There is a range of restaurants and buildings of historical interest in the town of Abbeville. The coastal towns of Mer-les-Bains (with an Auchan Supermarket) & St Valery-sur-Somme are also within easy reach. Above all in “Le Jardin des Deux Ponts” you can be assured of a very warm welcome from M. & Mme Farjallah. The family goes beyond expectations in caring for their visitors. We look forward to revisiting the Farjallah family and Le Jardin des Deux Ponts in September, and enjoying both that accommodation and the area of the Somme and particularly the wines and food in the restaurants.
