The hotel staff very helpful and treated us well. The dinner is very good. Although they can't really speak English but tried their best to understand what we want
Definitely will recommend this place to friends

The hotel located in the middle of the mountain is very small, with only a dozen rooms, designed in the Abashiri prison style, and has been run by the second generation. The hotel's Huren Hot Spring is very good. During the day, you can see Lake Abashiri from the open-air bath, which is beautiful. The food was pretty good, especially the breakfast which was better than the dinner.

I met Nuannuan, learned the French word auberge, and resolved a knot in my heart. I have been to Japan countless times, but I still don't understand how to call the many small hotels with excellent food. Hotel is definitely not the right name, inn seems a bit lower-end, and boutique does not cover the essence of food. I am always at a loss for words and it is difficult to express what I mean. The French really know how to have fun. It is said that the travel style of combining accommodation with pursuit of delicious food started 100 years ago. Japan's auberge took off during the bubble economy and became unstoppable. Nowadays, luxurious accommodation must be accompanied by luxurious meals, otherwise, how can you enjoy yourself? The decoration of this hotel is not my favorite style at all. It is too crowded and disorganized, which is suffocating. I even believe that the boss himself designed everything according to his own preferences. For example, there is a corner in the lobby that is said to look like his grandfather's old home. Some places are a little creative, such as drilling a few holes in the wood to let the light shine out from inside, making it bright. This kind of design is fine for self-appreciation, but it’s just average when placed in public. Walking around inside and outside, I really couldn't figure out where this boss came from. The things he sold ranged from porcelain and wood to chopping boards made by prisoners, and there were many things I couldn't understand. It was all-encompassing and there was no idea what was going on. Employees said that the boss's main business is building bridges, and everything else is just a hobby, including this auberge. If he sees something he likes, he puts it here for display and sale. Upon clicking on it, I could see some clues. The template of the corridor of the guest room in Figure 2 is the signature tourist attraction of Abashiri - the Prison Museum. Let the guests stay in the prison. Wow, being rich really allows you to be willful. The purpose of selling what the prisoners produce is to raise funds to help them reintegrate more smoothly into society in the future. A young employee walked with a slight limp, which I had never seen before in an auberge of this level. A warm feeling flowed through my heart. I thought that a willful boss should also be a kind boss, a boss who lived a carefree life. Since it dares to be called auberge, the guests who come here must have high expectations for the meal. After eating two meals, my evaluation is that the restaurant wins because of good ingredients, good ingredients, and good ingredients. The front desk said that the chef is just a local and not a famous chef. But looking out from the restaurant, Lake Abashiri, the lawn, and the garden are lined up in order. Seafood, milk, vegetables and fruits are all within farm-to-table distance. Simply cooking these ingredients will give you the best taste on earth. So why bother making a fuss? Why is it called Bei Zhi Nuan Nuan? It turns out that the hotel is located in the middle of tiered gardens. It is a somewhat famous tourist spot in the local area. It has a score of 4.9 out of five on Jalan net, a Japanese Dianping website. Transportation is also very convenient. You can take a taxi from Abashiri Jr Station and the starting price is the same. If you pass by, please don’t miss it. Life is too short, so enjoy it to the fullest.

The B&B style, decoration and food are very distinctive. It is a hotel run with care. There are many flying birds and squirrels on the terrace.

The name should give it away, a French auberge fused with a traditional Japanese ryokan that provides the warm hospitality of the north. Located part way up a hillside behind Abashiri with nice view over a farm and lake. Steep uphill walk to museums for sea ice and northern peoples’ museums, downhill to the prison museum (aka the Alcatraz of Japan). The inn is eclectically decorated with art and historic international cultural references. It has multiple public onsen baths. The food is fantastic! Multi course French style dinners all sourced from local ingredients, served while seated in a room with a view. Breakfasts was Japanese style, delicious. Our room (oichimonji) was spacious western style and included wet room with big tub and view.

In a sense, it seems to be an auberge run by the owner who earns a lot of money from other businesses. Therefore, the furnishings are tremendous. It is worth seeing. Dinner seems to be decided to be French, which is a bit disappointing. Because I feel like it's French, not so much that it's a popular terroir dish. The breakfast is very voluminous and Japanese food is quite good. It seems that many celebrities have come, and I was surprised to find a piece of autographed paper from the president of one of Japan's largest companies. In terms of other details, there is a smoking area, so I am not a hotel owner, so I don't have much attention to detail.
