Hotel President Terme

I was at this hotel two years ago for two days and was looking forward to being there again for a longer stay. Being a lover of good food, I very much like their dinner as it offers 3~4 choices for every course , in addition to the huge variety of buffet of appetizers and deserts. The ravioli, fish dishes, sorbet, ice cream....The staff is very pleasant and kind, immediately responding to your needs. While there are a lot of attractive looking hotels in Abano and wanting to explore more, I can understand when some guests told me that they have been at the President Hotel every year for the last 10～15years and nowhere else. As gorgeous as this hotel has been once upon a time it lost its luster. Great lobby and very pleasant hospitality team, but it lacks modern amenities. We had a great room, two bathrooms and a separate living room. It had plenty of closet space but the drawers did not work properly, because the chest of drawers was over fourth years old. Although both bathrooms are done in beautiful marble it is impossible to take a relaxing shower- the water turns from cold to scalding on its own. The quality of the soaps and body wash is inferior, it was very difficult to wash off the oil after the massage. The shower had is positioned in a way that it splashes all over, one must be careful not to slip. The marble could use some polish, there were numerous spots on the floor. I had a massage and was surprised that my masseuse did not ask me a single question, she slavered me with oil and used warm stones. No was I offered a glass of water or shown to the relaxation room. I just went straight to my room upstairs. The desk in the room is against the wall with no outlets, which makes it hard to use a computer. Breakfast is very basic, not really a five star quality. Very disappointed

All excellent. Staff excellent and helpful as always Have attended the hotel for 50 years and it has always fulfilled my expectations. Quality of food has always been excellent however I was disappointed to see that certain favourite items have disappeared from the buffet for example the canned sgumbro mackerel/tuna and the pickled shallots make only an occasional appearance whereas used to be daily. Still a quality feast Would heartily recommend this hostel to anyone who wishes to feel they are being entertained and pampered and are residing at a personal luxury residence rather than a hotel Looking forward to my next visit!!! The staff are really amazing - very friendly and helpful. The food is good although I think the portions have reduced in size this year. The pool area and service was great. My room was a good size and kept very clean. Tke wardrobes need replacing. Overall a lovely place to stay particularly if you are traveling alone

We stayed for 3 nights .Very nice hotel with excellent restaurant, reception staff superb, very grand style lounge area. We did not use the health spa facilities, but assume to be excellent No doubt, we very much enjoyed the use of the indoor and outdoor thermal pools! The structure here and there looks a little bit in need of updating and attention! Breakfast was good but not 5 star rating. Our room ,a executive junior sweet, was large with a comfortable bed and two bathrooms and a large balcony. For such a large room, it was a little under-furnished and the the walls were very bland and naked with little decoration. Room service was superb!
