It is very traditional danish hotel, everything was neat. That being said, it is a historic building, with layers of history and that can be noted. Staff was kind and helpful. Beds were comfy. 
Breakfast was superb!

Så smukt værelse! Badeværelset var pænt og rent og med alt hvad jeg havde brug for. Sengen var pæn og udsigten var smuk! 

Such a beautiful room! The bathroom was nice and clean and had everything I needed. The bed was nice and the view was beautiful!

I would have rated lower if I could. Arriving with children only to find out at bedtime that tap water in bathroom is grumpy and yellow. Complaining the following morning and told that we shouldn’t have been checked into this room but they could move us - so what about the bad and unacceptable basic conditions the first night? No we can’t give any refund - second night doesn’t really help us with early morning checkout. This is absolutely horrible and for someone born and raised in Aalborg an embarrassment

The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from the train station, the breakfast is good, the front desk service is warm, the room is clean and comfortable, and the price is high.

Note that the parking lot is not free! ! ! 75 krona per day, although not expensive, don't write free to mislead others.  The service is ok, the breakfast is extremely unpalatable.
