Absolutely fabulous rural bed and breakfast run by a lovely couple. We were doing the Camino de Finisterre y Muxia from Santiago and had pre booked to stay at Casa do Folgo for 2 nights and wow were we glad we did. Juan came and picked us up in Negreira and dropped us back to our start point the following morning then the next day we walked another 22km to Santa Marina and Juan picked us up again, it was a great service and enabled us to walk without carrying all our worldly belongings on that second day. The property itself was fantastic, great rooms and bathrooms and lovely communal areas and a fab garden where you could sit outside with a glass of wine and relax after a days walk. We had dinner both evenings and as a vegetarian it was great to have real veggie food not just bread and salad. My husband ( not veggie) said his was beautiful too. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again someday.

Wonderful place to stay outside Negreira. The town itself has little to see, so there’s no problem that it is in a rural area. Also, they have transportation into town, so that is not a problem. We arrived after our first stage of The Way of St. James toward Fisterra. It was perfect after a day’s walk. The food is absolutely delicious and homemade. Portions are generous. The rooms are very well kept, with a spacious bathroom and great shower. It was a perfect stay during the Camino and our favorite of 6 stops we made on the way to Muxía.

Wonderful stay here! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendly! We came with a group of seven and had three rooms reserved. We also made reservations for dinner! The fish was amazing! The kids loved the crepes! Excellent view, excellent accommodations, all around a wonderful time!

Loved our stay here!!! Juan is the most gracious host to share this lovely rural house and grounds with us. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the shower was amazing - much appreciated after a long day on the Camino. They will come to pick you up in Negreria - take the ride as the 5km from town is all on a busy road and uphill! We enjoyed wine in the spacious yard - leaving guests lots of space. This lovely Casa in the countryside was a lovely respite for the typical hotels. The dinner ( fish ) was truly the BEST MEAL we had in all of Spain!! I would definitely come back to stay here again.

Spent one night here with two friends whilst walking the Camino. Beautiful house, lovely breakfast and wonderful garden to relax in the evening. Owner collected us from Negreira and dropped us back the next morning. Highly recommend.

Juan & Angela were so lovely. They really looked after us. We all Thoroughly recommended this family run hotel. The food was great and the garden a beautiful spot to have a cool beer after a long day walking the Camino Finisterre. Tea and coffee is available to help Yourself and there are two comfy guest areas to rest your weary legs.

En nuestro camino De Santiago a Finisterre nos alojamos una noche en esta preciosa casa rural. Perfectamente atendida por Juan y su mujer, que nos recogió en Negreira y nos devolvió al día siguiente para seguir el camino. Impecable atención, lugar precioso y muy limpio, con mucho encanto. Muy rica cena y desayuno. Baño y habitación, de 10, como toda la casa.

He tenido una experiencia maravillosa con este sitio,en Negreira, al que fui por las opiniones de otros clientes que habían estado. De hecho cambié las fechas de todo mi itinerario por poder conseguir dos días de alojamiento alli. No me decepcionó en absoluto. La casa maravillosa, la habitación, los espacios comunes, los exteriores .... Una comida fantástica que cocina Ángeles, una persona encantadora y muy preocupada de hacer la comida prácticamente personalizada para cada huésped y de que todo esté totalmente a tu gusto. Es la mitad de todo el mérito de este alojamiento La otra mitad para Juan, una persona maravillosa, atenta, servicial y pendiente de todo lo que necesites. Me sentí en esa casa muy cuidado y querido. Lo recomiendo muchísimo
