Sitia Beach City Resort & Spa
4.1/562 Reviews
We stayed at the Sitia Beach City Resort hotel for 10 days and had a great time. It was comfortable, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great selection of local and international food available for breakfast. We tended to use the pool bar for snacks at lunchtime and eat out in the evening as there were plenty of restaurants to walk to so we didn't eat in the main restaurant other than for breakfast. The hotel's entertainment team were pretty active and vocal offering plenty of activities such as water polo, aqua aerobics and pool games if you like that sort of thing so it was pretty hectic around the main pool area. They spoke mostly in French, with the occasional bit of English as it turned out to be a French al inclusive resort. Not a problem for us as we were out a fair bit anyway seeing as we were in Sitia for a friends wedding with celebrations spread over a few days. If you want to sunbathe somewhere quieter then the pool at the back of the hotel is best. Great holiday resort which we highly recommend!

Stayed there after arriving from the ferry from Rhodes. The ferry port is very close by so it was very convenient. The location of the hotel is great, we just had to circle the block a couple of times to find parking as it was Friday night. The room is exactly what we expected for that kind of price, it was clean, had good views (definitely upgrade to a front room) and the aircon worked well. We didn't try the pool area so can't comment on that. We wanted to eat in their restaurant just accross the road but the staff had a bit of an attitude so we left before ordering.

+ very friendly reception despite the language barrier + parking spaces on the public road directly in front of the house are always available + very close to the center (5 minutes on foot) but far enough to have no noise at night + inexpensive room without reservation with sea view including balcony & air conditioning - unfortunately no fly screen - the house is very noisy - no shower curtain so you had to be careful not to put the entire bathroom under water
