Booked this hotel on august 2019, just before the riot on manokwari. We booked here for 2 nights with different booking code. We got upgrade room on the first night to the suite room. The suite room was kind an old one, but still comfortable, they have bath tub, coffee machine and the floor was full with carpet. The downside was the smell of the room somehow like the old wet stuf, but then it disapeared after the AC turned on. On our second night, we stay at deluxe and everything was good, the room was newly renovated but have no view from the window. The food was vary and delicious, the front office staff was kind and polite The location was perfect in the middle of the town, near to the fast food restaurant and supermarket

Outside the hotel looks great, but rooms are pretty worn out and definitely not 4 stars. + very friendly, helpful and efficient receptionist + clean sheets and towels, coffeemaker, fridge + breakfast: nor many western dishes, but plenty fruits, cakes, omelette - no sign for do not disturb, so just after we fell asleep, housekeeping belled us awake Alltogether, if you have to stay in Manokwari Aston is a good option.
