Ctrip.com commented that the hotel was ”poor” and booked the hotel with anxiety. - Because the hotel is in the city center - the subway is convenient for transportation - it is very convenient to go to the ”H” Italian restaurant - there is an airport to the hotel bus, so I know the bad reviews too. Booked. However, the beautiful airport hotel bus is sent to the hotel door for 18 yuan one-way - the front desk reception is a handsome Chinese guy, speaks Mandarin. The hotel is warm and welcoming. The swimming pool gym is on the top floor of the 27th floor - the scenery is very good and the room is upgraded to the 20th floor. After that, I also booked a Greyhound bus ticket to Calgary for me. It is worth a big compliment. This hotel is a five-star hotel on Ctrip.com, but it is a four-star hotel on Google Maps. But the hotel room facilities are good, the shower faucet is very good, completely subverting the original cognition. And in the past two days, I saw a Chinese tour group, and there was Chinatown nearby - although it was not big and felt that the law and order was not good, ”Happy everyone” produced good, especially after the meal, the sugar was great! Shantou Simi is free to eat - Qilian drink three bowls! Almost help the wall to leave the ”Happy Music” restaurant! Figure 3 ”H” Italian restaurant is also near Chinatown, the production is very good, the environment is very good, worth 4.6 points!

Had a 3 nights booked at the hotel The second night, the central AC died while the town was in the middle of a heat wave, with temperatures near 90 (30c) outside. Temperature in the room was around 78 (24c) upon returning to the room after dinner. I had a terrible sleep, as the temperature kept rising through the night and in the morning it was at 82 (26c). I complained to the front desk and was awarded on the spot 15 000 Marriott Bonvoy points! I was told that the situation would return to normal by the end of the day. Upon returning from business day, it wasn't fixed and the temperature in the room was 86 (28c). Went back at the front desk and was told that the crew was still working on the issue and that everything should be fixed soon. Went out with my colleagues for dinner and when we got back, the situation was not fixed yet. The machine was fixed, but it needed to be filled with the cooling gas, then some tests would be required, etc... There was no way I would stay in my room under those conditions. I had 2 colleagues there as well and I was paying for all rooms. The front desk person kept apologizing for the situation and I replied that apologies were accepted, but it would not help me getting some much needed sleep. I asked her if we could be relocated. Her first answer was no, but I did not gave up and after 1-2 minutes, she told me that she would talk with her manager. When she returned, she told me that we could all go to our rooms and that they were making calls to inquire about relocations and that we would be called back asap. After 10 minutes in the room, got a call back with the good news that we were relocated to a Four Points by the airport (as we were leaving the next day anyway) and that the hotel would take care of the cab fee to get there. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the outcomes. Out of a very tough situation, the personal on site was effective in finding a solution that was quite acceptable. The hotel itself was pleasant and the staff very friendly. They had to deal with a situation they had no control over it and make me a happy customer.

They have a comfortable bed where you can get a good sleep at night to relax after your travel. The room size is large compare to other hotels we’ve check in before. The air conditioner is awesome too for hot summer stay compare to other hotels which has a very old and noisy portable aircon. This is our second stay and we will still choose this hotel everytime we will visit edmonton. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel is great if your flying out. But if you want to be close to stores and restaurants then you would need a vehicle. The selection is very limited. The room was fantastic and clean. Great staff that were willing to get us extra blankets and coffee. I would highly recommend!

Great hotel, great location, very friendly staff! We stayed here one year ago and loved it so much we came back the next time we came to Edmonton. We loved everything, modern, suites are very well set up. We took advantage of the kitchen! The bathroom is clean and beautiful. My only criticism is the soundproofing could be better.
Candlewood Suites West Edmonton - Mall Area

We stayed 2 nights with our pooch and had a great stay! Room was very clean and well planned. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room however there weren't any issues with noise at any point. (and we visited on a concert weekend; the property was sold out) The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We really appreciated the Candlewood Cupboard!!

Excellent customer service. There was a restaurant on sight, loved how the hotel was pet friendly even though I didn’t bring a pet, also there was a pool looked really nice didn’t swim and the beds were ever so comfortable. Hope to stay at the hotel again in near future for much more longer days I quite enjoyed my short stay.I highly recommend!!
DoubleTree by Hilton Edmonton Downtown

The location is pretty good. I stayed for two nights, but there were a lot of homeless people downstairs. It was difficult to go out when it got dark, so I had to eat at the restaurant on the fifth floor. There is a free parking lot at the door, which is more convenient. It is closer to the river on foot during the day, which is convenient for travel. , many hotels nearby
