Grand Hotel & Casino

The location of the hotel is excellent, just in the city. It is very convenient to walk around the lake and travel by cruise ship. You can swim in the swimming pool downstairs, the water is very clean, and there is air conditioning in the room. There is a Chinese restaurant across the street. It's a good place to live if you come to the supermarket for the first time. By the way, there is a ferry downstairs. The waiters are also very enthusiastic ❤️
Warwick le Lagon Resort & Spa, Vanuatu
4.1/552 Reviews
We stayed at 5 different Resorts in Port Vila Vanuatu and this was by far our favourite! Immediately when arriving in the lobby you will be wowed, the location and resort is incredible. The staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic. There are so many on-site facilities and water equipment to take advantage of and the Lagoon is a great place to swim or even take a boat ride through. We didn't want to leave, this place is definitely a little haven and wr are 100% staying here next time we're back in Poet Vila. Thank you Warwick Le Lagoon, you are SUPERB to say the least, love how much the people here really value the guests. You feel appreciated and welcome here and it's great 👍 😁
Tropicana Lagoon Apartments
3.7/510 Reviews
Overall it feels good. The hotel is on the edge of the lagoon and the view is very good. The service staff is very friendly. The room is relatively large, but ants have been seen by the door on the wall. It takes about 10 minutes by car to reach the city center from the hotel.
Lagoon Gardens

The moment we walked in the door of Vila Chaumiere, we felt part of Morgan’s family. He could not have showed us more kindness and warmth. On our second night he insisted that we have dinner with him and help him finish off his leftovers from Christmas lunch. We stayed up late talking and laughing, and listening to stories about his life. He introduced us to his sister-in-law, Miriam, who we instantly clicked with and we couldn’t have loved more. She has the most beautiful, infectious personality and the warmest smile. She took us for a tour of the island of Efate and then we caught up again on our last night as friends before flying back home. The accomodation at Vila Chaumiere was so comfortable and peaceful (the views were of the lagoon were idyllic!). But it the people you meet when you travel that really stay with you. I couldn’t speak more highly of our stay, and it was so heartwarming to support a genuine family business. I really hope to be back soon!
Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Vila
4/554 Reviews
The hotel is newly built, including the kitchen and other facilities. We bought the food and cooked it for a few meals, which is more convenient. There is a big supermarket 10 minutes walk nearby, and the price of Port Vila is quite expensive. The hotel has a total of 80 rooms.
Moorings Hotel
3.8/519 Reviews
Moorings staff were excellent! We stayed at moorings for 10 days , 5 of those days were due to air Vanuatu cancelling 5 flights. The staff ensured we had a room after each cancelled flights and helped us with finding information that air Vanuatu would not supply us. The staff was wonderful and ensured we were informed and had rooms and meal vouchers. For us for all cancellations although they were not informed by air Vanuatu , we can’t thank them enough for looking after us. Monique and Hana were wonderful in ensuring we were looked after in what would have been more stressful without there continued help. Cannot recommend this place more. Thank you Moorings!
Breakas Beach Resort
4.1/541 Reviews
Checking out today after 5 very relaxing days here at Breakas. The staff have all been friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful, the food and drink excellent and my bed is so comfortable! No air con in the room, but no need during my stay as there were refreshing Ocean breezes, along with the sound of the small ocean waves rolling in to the beach through the night. Mosquito net over the bed was not needed. Maybe I was lucky with the breeze and time of year. Snorkelling was fun from the beach and the live music on one night and a fire dance on another with dinner were lovely nights. As others have said, WiFi was only possible for me if I went to the main bar/pool/food area. This was a bit of a pain, but not so bad. I took the many buses to and from town every day, 150 each way, so if your worried about being out of town, don't be. The buses are fun, local, cheap and meeting locals, as with everywhere, is more fun than taxis. Thank you Breakas for a relaxing week!
The Melanesian Port Vila
4.2/534 Reviews
I'd give it 3.5/5 but the rating system does not allow it, and am being generous. The hotel seems to have been around for some time already and it is slowly delapidating. It is not in a bad shape, but parts of it could benefit from a facelift. Rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom style is oldish but it is perfectly usable. They do housekeeping only if requested, which is a smart move. Who really needs daily cleaning in their room? Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a quite good restaurant attached to the hotel, and it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complimentary continental breakfast is included in the room price, and you can exchange money to items on the menu. Continental breakfast has the usual bread, butter and marmalades with fresh baguette and coffee/tea. They have also (watered down) soup to go with bread.
Fatumaru Lodge

Satisfied Satisfied Satisfied The staff are enthusiastic and attentive. When checking in, we will introduce the hotel in detail and send a glass of lemonade. The scenery is beautiful and very quiet. You can stroll to the market or choose to take a car
Chantillys on the Bay

I decided to book this place because it was close to town and what seemed like a very nice clean modern..ish place to base ourselves...well from the photos anyway. Port Vila is HOT, so for me check in needed to be efficient. I totally understand the concept of island time but come on, we were melting standing at reception waiting for them to get things in order. Our room was a one bedroom apartment which wasnt up to my expectations (Im not high maintenance either). We over looked the once was pier which was a shame. (They should update the pics) the bathroom was very small, and the kitchen was not exactly what I imaged, hence why they hardly have any pics of it. The bedroom and view where ok. Just the afternoon view was an absolute stinger. Next door was The Banyan Bar...nice spot for an arvo drink and Pizza, but make sute they dont charge you twice. We ordered drinks and pizza then decided to take our pizza to the room. Upon check out they charged us for the pizza...dont think so! We told them that this had happened to the couple before us...the left hand doesnt see what the right hand is doing. We checked out early because it just wasn't us and headed for the Ramada for some luxury. Would I stay here again..unfortunately thats a no from me. Would I recommend it..not for 7 days, maybe 2 or 3.
