Stayed here on route to my destination for one night, based on the advertisement that there was a shuttle bus to and from the airport however this was not true and ended up paying another €15 to get there from the airport which was about 5 mins away , was told the next day that the shuttle does not collect but drops off at the airport however you need to book 24 he's in advance , I tried this even contacting trip.com customer service who also tried to reach the hotel via the phone number they had provided however this is wrong and there is another number available at the front desk , Breakfast was average and again a separate payment of €8 from a very unfriendly staff member who flat out denied I had breakfast included which is what I paid for , so in the end £50 for a room in a ****ty part of town with miserable staff , ( the chap who checked me in that night was the only friendly and helpful person ) Overall not worth it should of stayed in a better place , I do not understand why people who have no compassion or respect for other human beings work in public places that involve dealing with customers ...??? Find somewhere else !!

I used this hotel as a base for 3 nights, the location is literally 5 minutes walk from the airport. Considering it’s proximity to the airport the prices were excellent also I was surprised there was no noise at all from the planes. The bedroom was very clean with comfy beds and nice pillows. Cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water, nice touch. Free safe in your room, good Wi-Fi which for me is very important. Good free gym, laundry facilities, good restaurant with an amazing choice for breakfast, you will not be disappointed in the food and service. What more can I say? Good prices, location, food, facilities and friendly staff. Keep up the good work I will 100% return on my next visit to Romania.

Someone might ask why 5/5 ! Short story I want to tell you about our long journey from country being in a war. Don’t know why bout we choose that hotel “ IBIS Style Bucharest Airport Hotel “ now I can see it’s was good choice! We just stepped in with no reservations at all after 20h of trip 😬 The hotel staff sorted us out with no questions asked even they were busy enough! We will try the best we can for you! And they did it! It’s special thanks for this, for professional support and service also nice and clean room and good food! 🙌🙌 I would recommend to you all!

After a short holiday in Bucharest, we opted to stay close to the airport on our final night for ease in getting to the airport. We found that this hotel seemed to be incredibly good value for money and also a short 20 minute walk away from the airport. We had booked a family room (4 of us staying) and had expected to be in one open room; but to our positive surprise there were two bedrooms, a sitting area and a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower. The finishes within the room were fantastic - it is very modern and very attractive. Similarly, the room was so clean. The facilities within the rooms are great - with a television in each room, tea and coffee facilities and plenty of comfortable seating. The bar area was very welcoming and I managed to complete my virtual meeting with no interruption. The bar selection was incredibly positive and the prices reasonable. Breakfast was commendable. A lovely buffet spread with plenty of options. All within our party, including one vegetarian, ate very well. Overall, a very positive stay in a lovely building.

The hotel itself was very good. I believed I was paying for use of the gym inclusive.when I checked out I was asked to pay approximately 40 euros for using the gym on both days of my stay. I ate in the restaurant which was very average if not poor quality and quite expensive. The airport transfer was good. Romanians are notoriously tricky be warned The gym guys did not speak English and did not indicate a fee which is always possible in any language. Lesson learned

The hotel is in a good location, one stop away from the airport bus, a 20-minute walk. The hotel’s breakfast is good, and the restaurant also offers lunch and dinner, but the price is a bit expensive. Although the hotel is close to the airport, it is still relatively quiet. The hotel has to call the front desk to send a car to pick up the airport, and to make an appointment to send it to the airport. Pick-up and drop-off are free, but you will have to pay for a ride at other times.
