The hotel staff are kind to allow us to check in earlier and check out later. Location is not walking distance to old/new town but it’s only a short 5-6 ringgit Grab ride away. Overall a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Few picture taken by us and family especially at one of the art with Harimau design wall. Enter the room with neat bed made up and clean environment. Warm and cozy design with black wall but brighten by light in the room. Entire one night stay was not enough will definitely came again for the next visit to Ipoh. Thanks Christin and Team.

We booked 2 rooms. Initially were very happy being given connected rooms. Rooms were clean but the bathrooms were disappointing. In our king bed bathroom, the bidet spray was leaking, basin drainage was slow, water seeps from the glass shower whenever we took showers. For the double single beds bathroom, the stopper for the bathtub was loose & water just couldn’t fill up. The bathroom blind was spoilt & cannot open. We feedback to the staff & request items to be fixed while we were out during the day, but nothing was done. As for the breakfast buffet, generally most of the food were very salty & inconsistent standard for the same type of food each day. Worst experience of all, we were charged the tourism taxes again upon checkout when we already prepaid all charges online!

This room is quite small and the lobby check in is at level 12 , when you enter there will register your car plate and reception will scan the card and go up to level 12 and the queueeue is so long the counter is only two. I love their lobby design it's quite fascinating and pretty. The room is small and the pillow only has one. Stay one night still ok. It's near a famous street and walkable to a lot of famous food places.

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the city centre. I take Grab to go there from Ipoh Parade it cost me about RM8. The location is not sorrounded with shop that is why i go to eat and shop a few thing first at Ipoh Parade. The check in was smooth and no deposit required. The room was clean eventhough the furniture was old. I love the comfy bed and it was king bed. The aircond was good. The water flow is good. Also got Sejadah for muslim. Free drinking water. My room not includes breakfast so in the morning i just walk in to the resto and paid RM41. I took nasi lemak with sambal paru but sambal paru was salty. Not many variation of food but overall was okay. Got fresh fruit and fresh original fruit juice. Check out at 12.45 because my appointment at hospital was 2pm. I want to thank to the recioptionist because they dont call my room to urge to check out at 12. Thank you for your consideration 😁.

When I asked if they would refill the food, the staff response was sarcastic. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, they only refilled scrambled eggs and a small amount of fried chicken. th veriation for the food very little. The rice was also available, but there were no other dishes to go with it—just rice! Other guests were also unhappy, but no further action was taken by the staff. In the end, my family had to settle for just hashbrowns and hotdogs. Thankfully, the front desk staff was polite and comfort, but overall, the kitchen service was bad very bad. We ended up ordering from GrabFood.

i would say this hotel has so much potential to become a great hotel, from a mediocre hotel it is now. The location is perfect.. within the vicinity of the famous Taiping Lake Garden but towards Bukit Larut. Though it is bit out of the main road, it is still good reach by vehicles. Or if u stay without vehicle, u still can call for Grab for food. etc. I saw an archery field at the back of the hotel. And i know, nearly there is a waterfall area. In front of this property, there is another equally interesting looking accommodation called Kamal Lodge that i can clearly see from my room Room 204. My room, though a Standard Room, was adequately furnished, though the aircond was OK OK only prolly because they use 1hp aircond, for a relatively big room. The towel though clean, was already old and time to change it. Breakfast was additional RM25 though i didnt take it, but i saw the restaurant was big and welcoming. The lobby i thnk, can be further improved. Prolly, u guys can provide bicycle renting service etc to the guest. Maybe they have, i didnt asked. I just wish the lobby and the lift have more soft touch to make the guest more..welcomed? But the lobby staffs were courteous and friendly and accommodating as i need to borrow their phone charger for a while. some newer hotel stayed already have the USB plug in the room though. anyway, i still want to recommend this place for families..as their pool look interesting for kids..though the water looked bit murky. and the big room of course. But ya i want to come back in the future to check on their progress!

We got ourselves a King Room and was greeted by a very nice view of Taiping Lake Garden and the mountainous scenery. Room was big and clean. The hotel was directly connected to a shopping mall. Some slight hiccups:  1) Somehow our room had no floor towel 2) The room door had to be slam shut before the lock can be turned to lock the room successfully Other than that, we would love to stay again!

We decided to stop in Ipoh to rest and explore the city since I had never taken my kids there before. After a bit of searching, I came across Regalodge, which offered a very reasonable price for a room with a bathtub. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Ipoh, close to many popular points of interest like Concubine Lane and more. The room was comfortable, and it included breakfast, which was surprisingly good. We also decided to try food from their restaurant, The Limestone, and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and the prices were unbeatable—where else can you get a tasty nasi goreng for under RM10? One of the standout features of the hotel is the free parking with a security guard present, ensuring peace of mind. They also have a charging station for electric vehicles, which is a great bonus. While the hotel isn't exactly luxurious, given the affordable price, it definitely exceeded expectations. What impressed me most, though, was the room itself. I've stayed at numerous hotels, but this was the first time I encountered a treadmill in the room! It was a nice touch for those who want to stay active while traveling. Overall, Regalodge provided great value for money, and I would definitely return if I need a place to stay in Ipoh again. Highly recommended!

Check in was confusing because the reception said our booking did not include breakfast, so we spent next 10min to sort it out after showing evidence of booking details. Room was large, clean, well configured, AC strong and lighting thoughtfully laid out. They even provided bedroom slippers, which is a nice little touch. We had a room with a view of the nearby mountain and outdoor car park. There was also a simple complimentary afternoon tea right after we checked in. There is a sundry store, clinic, dentist and several restaurants within walking distance so it was very convenient. We happenstance found a very nice seafood restaurant within 10min walk, so that was a good find! Breakfast was reasonable and the restaurant staff there were helpful.

Parking at basement is chargeable at RM2 for hotel guest. Can enter exit many times thought out your stay. Only 1 time charge. Room is acceptable but the TV size is too small. Very limited channel available too. This room type got bath tub. Is good water pressure and the hot shower available right beside. This js very convenience layout type. Kudos.

Our 2nd time here after 13 years! Now come back with our kid. We arrived at 2pm and managed to get early check in. The check in and check out process was smooth. Room was comfortable and clean. Will definitely come back again.

1st time to Ipoh and happy that I chose this hotel. It is very convenient to mall, eatery n places of interest. The check in was very smooth and fast.  Am delighted that I was able to checked into my room at around 9am instead of 3pm . Room is clean and spacious with nice view too. The only thing are the toilet door and the main door is too old very hard to close 😅 other than that everything is good😁The b’fast spread is very simple nothing to be picky abt , just nice to fill up your tummy.  Thank you for your hospitality and will sure to recommend to friends.

To all the Swiss Garden Beach Resort's Staff, We would like to thank each and everyone of you for making this family day event even more successful especially Ms.Sunitha. She is a wonderful and friendly person to be liased with. Each and every message she responded in a quickest way made me so convenient to converse with her. Regarding buffet management we are much satisfied with all the preparations made table arrangements as per requested, fresh seafoods, all the chef and staff members in Gayam were wonderful people and had never failed to serve us with their smiling faces especially Mr Amir yusof. Room check in, We felt much appreciated with your warmth welcome approaches made by Ms Sunitha and Mr Vikneswaran. Ms Sunitha had given a chance to us to check in much earlier than your resort's fixed time. Overally we were stunned with all your staff and services. I am really sorry if i left out anyone to be thanked here. I am much grateful with you Ms Sunitha without you i personally think that this event would not be successful.

We stayed here one night with a tour group. Room and bed were clean and cosy. There is a swimming pool and reading room but we had no chance to use them. Breakfast was decent with a noodle counter. Salad was available. Porridge was not hot - it could be due to the electricity of the pot was not switched on.

The building is old; maintained a bit less than adequately. You may have to call reception to get some things fixed (lights, bath, etc.). I upgraded my room from city & sea view to pool & sea view - its worth the RM30. Amenities is great - pool is near to the beach. If you bring your kids, let them play at the beach but no swimming as it is too close to the jetty. You can always swim at the pool. Breakfast is good. Malaysian breakfast mostly and those are cooked to almost perfection. Staff and service is fantastic.

We have just completed a 6 night stay at this lovely hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. We were allocated room 62 which was everything we wanted, very spacious with a big bed and a strong warm shower. It also had a front facing balcony with a sea view. A big than you to the cleaner who serviced our room very well, it was always immaculately clean and smelled very nice. The breakfast choice was just right, a egg station was available for choice of eggs, there was also a noodle station and my favourite...Roti Canai. The staff in the dining room were quick to clear tables and all the food tasted nice, so thank you to the chefs and the staff. The reception staff were always available and very pleasant, it was also good to have a permanent security guard at the front of the hotel, he was always smiling and helpful, a very nice man. Thank you for your assistance with our luggage and helping us park our motor cycle etc. The hotel also has a very nice swimming pool and loungers, with towels available. So really it ticks all the boxes for a great stay and the nightly price rates are very reasonable. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, white towels quite thick for a budget hotel, strong water pressure, reliable hot water, quiet surrounding, has a good drinking water machine where we can refill our tumblers. Has a clothes line in the bathroom. Room door uses sensor key. Can control room air cond temperature. Cons: When someone in the next room showers, the noise of the water is very loud. Shower area not separated from toilet area so the floor gets wet but luckily the bathroom is large so there is still a small area that does not get wet. No lift. Only street parking where you have to pay. Security not good enough. Anyone can enter & go up to the rooms. The receptionist won't know unless they stand up as they sit behind a high counter.

he hotel looks decent on the outside and the location is quite secluded and not bustling with people or cars. The receptionist was really friendly. The hotel has two levels but there are no elevators so you have to take the stairs. The pricing was average. The room was really nice but the tv reception was quite low. There's a water heater/cooler and ironing board. There is no specified parking for guests and it is limited. There are grocery shops and restaurants nearby if you want to buy some things or want to grab something to eat. The wifi is okay but not terrible. Overall nice place to stay for short durations

My family and I went for a staycation to Teluk Batik. It’s quite near to the beach. There are a lot of parking but make sure you download “Park@Perak” apps to avoid from “kena saman” 😅. Overall the room is quite spacious but unfortunately my room got no mirror in it. Just one mirror in the toilet. The room is also convenient for my family to stay. Overall 3.5/5

Near sea view, friendly staff, nice nasi lemak and salad, breakfast and their staff let me takeaway food from breakfast buffet to hotel room because my wife sick..

The location wise is very strategic, near food place. The staff is very friendly and the accommodations is value for the price paid. Very comfortable to rest with family and the space is spacious too. The design of the room and landscape of the hotel is simple but yet elegant! A pleasant stay!

In Seri Manjung, this is one of the best value hotel. Package comes with breakfast for for for family room and breakfast for two for Executive Suite. Buffet spread is ok with lesser options if comparing tot he other higher class hotel. Hotel provides ample parking spaces. Aircond is the split version and the sizing is adequate for the room. Shower water pressure is good and the hot water is sufficient. Hotel provides with toothbrush and amenities smell good. What else? Lastly, freezer default mode is Switch Off. You need to turn on by yourself. No iron and iron board provided in the room.
