The Sanctuary Villa Battambang

The hotel is more of a three star hotel than four, but it was nice to stay here during COVID-19. Great pool and the manager was nice. He wasn't responding when we tried contacting the hotel on two numbers and via their Facebook to arrange the free pick up from the bus station but it's understandable. There's an older woman who's a staff member and we found her to be very moody. other than that the place is okay.

The amenities correspond to the description. absolutely clean. But I didn't like the attitude of the staff towards the guests. Upon arrival, they don’t explain or show anything. During your stay, the staff not only does not say hello, but does not even turn their heads in your direction when you pass by. Such a complete ignore

Well I will start by saying we will be back! We are CNDs semi/retired in Phnom Penh. We needed a break feom the hustle and bustle of the big city and tried this resort. We were greeted with the sweetest most helpful young lady, missed her name, that took great care of us. As we walked passed the pool area and restaurant to our lakeside cabin I knew this was what we needed. It's gorgeous, clean, friendly and gardeners are so busy keeping it all clean but ever so discreetly. It was perfect! We're so happy we've found our escape place! Room 4 lakeside is so private and a deck right at the edge of the pond that has blooming lilies on it. Like a scene from a romantic movie. Thank you reception staff and restaurant staff for a beautiful get-away. We couldn't have asked for more. Oh and the food!! Top notch.

The hotel is quite appropriate for business travelers. Centrally located with a solid breakfast to enjoy. It’s also quite quiet given its location. The higher you go the better the view too.
Family Batcave Homestay

Great homestay if you want to experience the life of local Khmer people. Located near the bat cave and surrounded with rice fields, perfect way to disconnect from busy city life and indulge in local culture. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. Saro speaks English very well, he can introduce you to local culture and touristic spots. Don’t expect a five star hotel but rather an assembly of humble huts. Saro and his family provide everything needed to make sure we spend a comfortable stay. Beautiful sunset and sunrise over the rice fields.
Bambu Hotel

The room is beautiful but I don't love the tiles. I wish they installed a ceiling fan at the balcony. Bathroom tiles are a bit tired. I don't like how they put the shower gel etc in a bottle. I wish they provided slippers as the room floor is fully tiled, not wooden flooring. The room also doesn't have phone, so for sny request, you have to go down. The staff were great, spoke good English and they recommended a great tuktuk driver and booked our bus ticket to Siem Reap. The hotel did not charge extra for the services.

The hotel is located right next to several bus transfer stations. It is very convenient to travel to and from other parts of Cambodia. The hotel is cheap but the relative facilities and facilities are not very demanding. There are very few residents in Battambang at night, so the location of the hotel is a bit remote when walking. Personal access is required. Note that it’s totally fine during the day, and it’s fine for business trips.

Hotel service is ideal, sincere attitude, general facilities, room is big enough, clean and satisfied, there is a terrace, air conditioning is frozen enough, unfortunately hot water supply is hot and cold, should be water pressure problems, need to be improved, the pool is not too big, but clean business, suitable for family travel, food and beverage, But nearby restaurants stand, numerous, although slightly expensive, but value for money, suitable for couples, family leisure travel.

Lovely hotel consisting of a few 2 floor buildings within wild garden and water features. Staff were great and helpful. The food was excellent with a choice of western or Khmer cuisine. The room was large, welcoming and tastefully furnished with good shower/toilet facilities. I would definitely return if the opportunity arose
