Hotels With Airport pickup service in Abruzzo, Italy

I was 3 nights in this hotel with my family and it was all perfect! Cleaning, great breakfast and spacious room! Beautiful swimming pool and the boy that controls very gentle has provided us with mattresses, arms, etc. If I really need to find a sin there are no balconies or wires in the windows to make dry costumes and towels but apart from this, I suggest!

We booked this hotel for 9 nights, from August 18, 2023 to August 27, 2023. In the first night an extremely noisy event (which we understood from the Reception when we complained is a DAILY event between 20:00-24:00) from the nearby hotel. No one from the hotel warned us about this. Also, this was not mentioned in the description of the hotel on the website. When we talked about this at the reception, they did not offer any solution. They knew about this problem. They said that they will try to give us another room in a few days, but an worse room that the one we paid for. We checked out the next day. The other negative aspects which are misleading in the description are: Wifi is very poor, room is too small for queen size bed (the balcony door hit the bed, bedside table furniture missing on the balcony side of the bed, balcony without privacy separators, fish smell on staircase at the day of our arrival very scarce breakfast (the day at our checkout and departure). During the breakfast, waiting in line for somebody to slice cheese and ham, waiting in line for somebody to prepare eggs. (Nobody there for the 20 minutes we took breakfast). It seems that Sea Lion Hotel retained the Covid 19 restrictions which benefit their side and limit tourists services, fitness and Spa are out of work, but they marketed it as they offer these sevices. This hotel is a 3 hotel at best, not as it is listed, as a 4 hotel with a rate of 190 euro/night!!! Of course, they don't want to reimburse the money. Perfect location, 5mins away from train station, right in the city centre and 10mins walk from the sea. Surrounded by quaint bars and restaurants serving typical Italian food which was excellent.

Fantastic setting right in the middle of the city center and the main shopping street, though easy to reach by car. Friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out. Nice quite rooms and excellent breakfast even in these Covid times. Private enclosed and convenient parking at 50m of the hotel for guests.

Definitely NOT a Palace. Definitely not 3 and a half stars Let’s stay by saying this hotel Ambra Palace is definitely not a palace. I should have listened to the other reviewers. It’s a dump completely with rude staff at reception. Whilst Agoda (don’t get me started on them) and the hotel website boast about having airconditioning this is not the case. Well the rude gentleman first said there is no aircon but when he is shown it in writing on the website and on Agoda the story changes to ‘seasonally available’. Well not at certain times of the year anyway. 29 degrees during our stay but aircon already turned off for the year. The rude gentleman who lost the ability to speak English advised through his female colleagues that their website can’t be changed to define when aircon isn’t available. Nor apparently can it be changed on Agoda according to him. So bottom line no aircon year round, yet they advise there is. Unacceptable. Now the shower? Shall we talk about the fact the shower head won’t stay in place making it a hand held shower. Unacceptable. So back down to my friend on the counter and in fairness he does arrange a room change. But changing rooms is never fun. Shower should have been in working order. New room has twin beds. We need a double but who could be bothered complaining again. Small rooms with very dated furniture and dated bathrooms. Very thin walls and we heard fellow guests in next room all night. The solution on the second night was to leave the window open and listen to all the street noise. Breakfast was okay. Location was okay. Don’t go to this hotel. Listen to the reviews We will never be back to this ‘Palace’

Good location and stylish decor. Function is another story though. There are two elevators which are both tiny and carry only two people with luggage. We stayed three nights while traveling with a group, in two different rooms (the first night in a double room, even though we had booked a twin; the hotel claimed they had no other rooms available). The double room was extremely small, while the twin room was slightly more spacious. Even though by definition both rooms slept two people, they both had space for only one suitcase and had only one chair. The first room had no desk at all, with one of the nightstands doubling as desk. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The AC took quite some time to cool the room and was very difficult to adjust. Lack of attention to maintenance was obvious: burned light bulb, loose (or detaching) handles and knobs. Bathroom with no convenient shelf space (unless you want to count the shelf under the sink), no hooks and ho place to hang/place clothes or toiletries. The first room had very slow draining sink and shower. The water was extremely soft and very difficult to rinse. Wifi worked well. Breakfast had a decent selection. The problem was the constant lack of bowls, glasses and utensils. The staff would bring them out 4-5 at a time upon request, and of course they were gone within a couple of minutes.

Whilst Avezzano has little to offer the tourist, this hotel is a wonderful base for exploring the wider National Parks area which was just what we needed for our three night stay. We had a wonderful triple room with balcony and the hotel is based in small contemporary 'houses' each with about six rooms or suites clustered around the beautifully landscaped patio areas and the pool. Breakfast and dinner were served in the main building and were both excellent in choice of dishes and service and we were presented with complimentary Prosecco and desserts to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary whilst we were there. Daily room service was excellent and the staff were all very courteous and helpful which made for an excellent stay - well done Hotel della Piana - highly recommended!

Ho trovato subito, durante la chiamata, una persona deliziosa, gentilissima e cortese che ci ha ospitato nella sua struttura. Per noi è stato l’appoggio per una sola notte (come tappa di rientro dalla vacanze) ma se fossi stata prima a conoscenza del posto non avrei avuto dubbi sul risceglierlo. Tony ci ha aspettati e accolti nonostante fosse ora di cena, e anche durante il tragitto per Pescara è stato molto carino nel chiederci come stesse andando il viaggio. Camera super pulita, arredata in maniera impeccabile, con tutti i confort del caso (per dire, in camera c’era una ciotolina con delle caramelle). Lo spazio colazione ricco di tantissimi cibi dolci e salati (insieme a macchinetta del caffè e a utensili vari) è sempre accessibile durante il giorno. Tony ci ha anche fornito indicazioni su dove andare a cena, dove parcheggiare ecc… insomma un’host impeccabile. È stato davvero un piacere soggiornare qui! Grazie!

I was worried when I read the reviews regarding this hotel, However I think some people expect too much. Yes the Hotel does need some much needed maintenance but I believe in light of the recent pandemic it has like most of the world become a victim of circumstance. That being said and looking beyond the surface - this hotel has very welcoming polite staff, it was super clean and the room was spacious and the bed was comfy. it is ideally situated on the front with excellent access to bars, restaurants and shops. I would definately stay here again if I ever returned to Pescara. Thank you for our stay.

Felisia and her husband are lovely people and seem to do anything to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was a good size and clean. We had to come back early and I was told I needed to physically print my boarding passes instead of being able to use them on my phone, I messaged felisia to ask if she could print them for me and she did which was very kind of her. If I messaged her about anything she gave a very quick reply and tried her very best to help. The private bathroom was directly opposite the room and was spacious and clean.

We stayed a week here. Accessibility wise, it is only a short walk to the beach and restaurants BUT it is down and then up a very steep hill. Unless you like fish, most of the nearby restaurants will not suit you. Would recommend having a car due to these facts. There is a courtesy mini bus service to a beach which was at a cost of €25 euros per day inc umbrella, chairs etc. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice. The food was very good but is a limited menu. Portion size on the small size. We ate breakfast most mornings which at €5 is good value for money . Varied buffet breakfast with lovely local bread and cakes, fruit yoghurt etc, cold meat and cheeses and scrambled eggs. We booked 6 months in advance and were disappointed with the room allocated to us. We had booked a superior room and queried on the first night if that was what we were in. We were assured we were……but….. on further conversation the next day with very helpful check in desk staff, it became clear we were in one half of a family room. There was not much difference in amenity except the superior room was approx 8-10 m2 bigger…..so a huge difference. We were subsequently moved on night 3 of 7 so this aspect was disappointing and the photos on the website of various rooms are very misleading. We felt slightly cheated over this. There is also an issue with noise from other rooms which is audible for sure but did not cause us any significant issue. In terms of the rooms and public areas, the gardens and pool areas are very pleasant to spend time in. The restaurants for breakfast and dinner are ok too. The rooms and corridors are tired and do need refreshing in our view, especially the bathrooms which are showing signs of age with black mould in a lot of the grouting. Lastly, the staff throughout the hotel were outstanding in every respect. The service was exceptional…… friendly, informative, professional and efficient. 10/10. Had this not been the case we would have reviewed it at 3/5.

Hotel 4 stelle con annessa residenza con appartamenti! Parto subito complimentandomi con Stefania dell’accoglienza sempre gentilissima e cordiale e capace di soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta! Inoltre complimenti anche a Nicola il maitre di sala che ci ha accolto seguendoci ad ogni pranzo e ad ogni cena con estrema professionalità! Grazie ad entrambi! Il resto del personale nulla da dichiarare! Questo hotel ha Grande potenzialità ma purtroppo non sfruttata appieno! 4 pallini verdi però sono meritati ma grazie alle persone sopra menzionate! Consiglio di fare tesoro delle precedenti recensioni per correggere alcuni dettagli ed essere impeccabili! Un consiglio per il cuoco: NO ARROSTICINI se non preparati con il metodo classico! Inoltre arricchite la carta dei vini, me lo aspetto in un hotel a 4 stelle!

Siamo venuti in questo hotel incuriositi dal programma di quattro hotel di Bruna Barbieri. Abbiamo soggiornato per ben 14 giorni. All'arrivo ci si trova davanti a una bella scalinata per arrivare alla reception. Una volta registrati subito i documenti e avendo mio marito con una difficoltà motoria nel fare le scale, ho chiesto subito se c'era un ascensore e mi sono state date tutte le indicazioni. Camera al quarto piano con vista mare, un incanto, pulitissima e con un bel balcone spazioso. Non ci sono armadi chiusi e cassettiera, ma resta tutto comunque comodo. Bagno di giuste dimensioni, abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con la doccia che non si chiudeva bene e ci si era allagata la stanza, ma chiamato il personale alla reception sono corsi subito prontamente a risolvere il problema e ad asciugare, quindi davvero grazie. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad ogni richiesta ed esigenza. Al piano meno uno si trova la sala ristorante e colazione essendo ancora bella la stagione la cena l'abbiamo fatta sempre nella bellissima terrazza esterna al piano terra. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata con ottime torte e si possono trovare anche piccoli cornetti salati farciti, anche se non lo trovate scritto se chiedete vi posso o fare anche delle uova. Del ristorante che dire, mai mangiato così divinamente in nessun albergo, ottima.cucina e pesce freschissimo, il crudo di pesce merita di essere mangiato almeno una volta. Hanno una piscina, seppur esterna alla struttura, ben curata con ombrelloni,sdrai e un servizio bar. Per chi lo desidera si può.chiedere anche un pranzo che ti viene servito in sacchetti di carta e ben confezionato. Lo possono consegnare in piscina, spiaggia o anche in camera su richiesta. Hanno un parcheggio a due passi non sono segnalati i posti quindi si mette semplicemente l'auto dove si trova postoa.pursempre comodo. Davanti all'albergo attraversando la strada si trova una scala un po' lunga che porta alla spiaggia privata, avendo problemi con mio marito non abbiamo potuto sfruttarla perché non comodissima per chi ha qualche difficoltà motoria. Ho notato che sicuramente non è un albergo per lunghi soggiorni ma noi ci siamo trovati benissimo. È un albergo che fa anche da location a diversi eventi. Per quanto riguarda staff e personale tutti gentilissimi dal primo all'ultimo sia il personale delle pulizie, ristorazione e reception. Solo loro meriterebbero un dieci. Torneremo a trovarvi e grazie di tutto.

B&b is located near the central Umberto road. It is difficult to find free parking in the area but a few steps away is the parking for payment of the station. And here the positive notes end. I'm sorry to always make negative reviews, but I hope that this can be a stimulus for managers. But inside it looks like a basar, poorly-tracked entry with furniture put to the mouth. Small room, date furniture and different from each other. Recently renovated but small bathroom. Phon in poorly-tracked furniture. The morning was hot water, and it was impossible to do a shower; the evening was a thread after a half-direct water was left flowing. Breakfast in line with the rest, non-branded products even with a variety of products (sweet only, not salted).

Totally hate the staying here, it ruined my hollyday even from the begining. So: I made a reservation from Romania for 2 persons : me and my daughter and they asked for a 2night deposit (even if they advertise as not necessary). Anyway, I paid for the deposit and when I got at the property, I was told I need to pay for the whole staying in advance…weird but I agreed with that. I was assured that my 246 euros (the initial deposit) would be returned in one day or two. 5 days later ane I still don’t have my money back. The toilet broke while I was there asked for it to be repairted, the shower was horrible and the walls dirty. What really bothers is the attitude from the reception which is totally unfriendly…I could say hostile. This is not what I paid for and never will ome back here ciiihhh 😥😥😥 What is really good is the cleaning personnel: very friendly, impeccable work: everyday cleaning is perfect even though I didn ask for some of it it was realized as it should be. 🙏🏻 Breakfast was poor: I had fresh vegetables in one single occasion and in some other occasions I had the feeling it was the dinner from the previous day…not happy at all
