Hotel Esplanade

I was worried when I read the reviews regarding this hotel, However I think some people expect too much. Yes the Hotel does need some much needed maintenance but I believe in light of the recent pandemic it has like most of the world become a victim of circumstance. That being said and looking beyond the surface - this hotel has very welcoming polite staff, it was super clean and the room was spacious and the bed was comfy. it is ideally situated on the front with excellent access to bars, restaurants and shops. I would definately stay here again if I ever returned to Pescara. Thank you for our stay.

We booked a half-pense week in this hotel and we found ourselves very good. The hotel staff is very friendly and available, from the reception boys to the garbage (in particular Ermelinda, very nice and nice), and to the cleaners. Fantastic food, very rich breakfast and dinner/lunch made up of meals and boards buffet, first, second and sweet.Very good also the restaurant open only for lunch with paper menu and accessible to all bathrooms, as well as poker. At night, the “Abruzzo typical dinner” is often organized with all the region's typical products, both meat and fish. A 24-hour reception and parking available in the courtyard of the hotel (even the pay-pay garage). Tip: If you have a light sleep, ask not to be set in the rooms that look at the railway, even if it has not caused any problem to us. The hotel is directly on the beach. The club card (€35.00 per person) allows you to access the hotel pool (advice to carry the cuffy) and the hairdryer with a bed and a bed. The facility also provides sea chairs and shoes. Sandy beach, clean sea, where it is very pleasant to take long walks and bathrooms. One note: “the security officer” - as he likes to call himself - is a little bit superb to colleagues, we have seen a poor scene, but we must always be patient. The hotel is obviously super recommended!

Good location and stylish decor. Function is another story though. There are two elevators which are both tiny and carry only two people with luggage. We stayed three nights while traveling with a group, in two different rooms (the first night in a double room, even though we had booked a twin; the hotel claimed they had no other rooms available). The double room was extremely small, while the twin room was slightly more spacious. Even though by definition both rooms slept two people, they both had space for only one suitcase and had only one chair. The first room had no desk at all, with one of the nightstands doubling as desk. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The AC took quite some time to cool the room and was very difficult to adjust. Lack of attention to maintenance was obvious: burned light bulb, loose (or detaching) handles and knobs. Bathroom with no convenient shelf space (unless you want to count the shelf under the sink), no hooks and ho place to hang/place clothes or toiletries. The first room had very slow draining sink and shower. The water was extremely soft and very difficult to rinse. Wifi worked well. Breakfast had a decent selection. The problem was the constant lack of bowls, glasses and utensils. The staff would bring them out 4-5 at a time upon request, and of course they were gone within a couple of minutes.

The restaurant serves a really nice dinner with a lot of options for a fair price. yes, the hotel is from the 70s, I only wish they leaned into this as a lover of design it could be really cool. The rooms are big, and clean. We had a giant balcony which was nice. Highly recommended if you’ve got kids or a car (there is a pool and abundant free parking). The breakfast is legit, they have soy milk etc. It’s independently run and multilingual with a 24 hour desk that can help you with taxi etc if your Italian is lacking. All of the staffs were 5 star worthy.Great energy overall.
Sea Lion Hotel

We booked this hotel for 9 nights, from August 18, 2023 to August 27, 2023. In the first night an extremely noisy event (which we understood from the Reception when we complained is a DAILY event between 20:00-24:00) from the nearby hotel. No one from the hotel warned us about this. Also, this was not mentioned in the description of the hotel on the website. When we talked about this at the reception, they did not offer any solution. They knew about this problem. They said that they will try to give us another room in a few days, but an worse room that the one we paid for. We checked out the next day. The other negative aspects which are misleading in the description are: Wifi is very poor, room is too small for queen size bed (the balcony door hit the bed, bedside table furniture missing on the balcony side of the bed, balcony without privacy separators, fish smell on staircase at the day of our arrival very scarce breakfast (the day at our checkout and departure). During the breakfast, waiting in line for somebody to slice cheese and ham, waiting in line for somebody to prepare eggs. (Nobody there for the 20 minutes we took breakfast). It seems that Sea Lion Hotel retained the Covid 19 restrictions which benefit their side and limit tourists services, fitness and Spa are out of work, but they marketed it as they offer these sevices. This hotel is a 3 hotel at best, not as it is listed, as a 4 hotel with a rate of 190 euro/night!!! Of course, they don't want to reimburse the money. We made a complaint on the European Commission platform. They need to be hold accountable. Reports and statisticsLegislation Contact advisorData protection

This hotel is in an old Medieval town fron the 1500's. There is some restoration going on in the town, but it doesn't interfere with any plans. The room is an old wall house. It has stone walls, floors and fireplaces. I chose the room with a small terrace, and a living room. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is a large soaking tub, in the bathroom, but no shower. Be prepared to use the rinsing pot provided. It brings you back to the day. There is an excellent hair dryer. Not much in amenities, so bring your own, but hey it's the 1500's! The restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner was outstanding. I loved the whole Medieval neighborhood. I chose a guide, but you can easily walk the town and discover it yourself, but the guide holds the key to the tower, which is the only way in and up to the top for the beautiful view.

Perfect location, 5mins away from train station, right in the city centre and 10mins walk from the sea. Surrounded by quaint bars and restaurants serving typical Italian food which was excellent.

I was 3 nights in this hotel with my family and it was all perfect! Cleaning, great breakfast and spacious room! Beautiful swimming pool and the boy that controls very gentle has provided us with mattresses, arms, etc. If I really need to find a sin there are no balconies or wires in the windows to make dry costumes and towels but apart from this, I suggest!
