Location is perfect as is just 3mins walk to airport. It would be perfect to return car the night before you catch a really early flight the next morning. It's also good that bfast is included. Only drawback is that the hotel is a bit old, but it's fine for one night stay.

Very convenient to the Keflavik Airport. An easy 15 minute ride by car. Taxis readily available at the airport. I arrived at 6:30 am after arriving in Iceland. Rooms were not available until the regular 2:00 pm check-in. But, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and was directed to comfortable couches in the lobby on which to relax, read, and nap. The moment a room became available, the desk clerk came and let me know I could go to my room. Later that evening, I enjoyed a Cosmopolitan followed by a delicious dinner.

Staff go above and beyond. They are gracious and kind, as well as very professional. Hotel is beautiful and well decorated. My room was very cold tho. Breakfast was scrumptious. I was even stuck in Iceland with flight delays and lucky to be at Keflavik Hotel. They could not have been more helpful and kind to us all.

The room has a shared bathroom and pantry area. - Room and bed ok The room is a bit small but sleeps comfortably. (but got to sleep for a short while because I had to get up quickly to catch the morning flight) - When cooking, I tend to be considerate of other people. Because it also has a living area. Don't dare to cook food with strong smells. - Shared bathrooms are few, but it's not a problem. - The best part is being able to see the Northern Lights from the accommodation. - Shuttle service to and from the airport is at 4500ISK/trip/1-4 people (information as of 22/9/2023)

The cabin is very warm and very moderm. The check-in and check-out us very easy with a key box at any time. It has a dinning room very nice for breakfast, with coffee, tea, butter, jam. You have a supermarket very close to the camping. It is perfect if you are looking for a place close to the airport. The place is very quiet and there has not any noise. Jonas answer any question very quick.

The hotel is not far from the Blue Lake. From the blue lake to the hot springs to live here, the next day to the airport is also very convenient. It is self-check-in, each cabin has a check-in code, find your room to enter the password and take out the key. The store is very enthusiastic, my English is not very good, she specially drove me to open the door, the room is very clean, if you can cook in the cabin is also possible, the home is hot

We didn't explore but there's a nice view of the harbour, and although we didn't try it the hot tub looked welcoming. I loved the massive rotatable globe in reception, and though the restaurant closes early (9pm) thankfully we'd already eaten and could grab a glass of wine from reception. They left a voucher out in the morning for an early morning taxi to the airport (saves £25), which was a nice touch. The room was good, with a huge modern TV. The blind was broken (luckily we could close it, but couldn't open it in the morning) and in the corridor there was a loud whistling noise from the wind. Also they only provided one pillow each. So a few small complaints stopped it getting 5 stars.

Although rooms are spacious, the beds are curiously narrow, but the mattresses are good, so the sleep quality is good - after all. Breakfast is already served from 4 o'clock in the morning, so even those of us who (sigh!) had to catch a very early flight could have breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast is a bit basic, but besides bread the quality and variation is OK. We didn't meet any staff at all other than the receptionist. She was friendly, but indeed on cruise control, so you really had to have your ears perked up to get any of the information.

This hostel is great. Everything is good.good Location , tidy and clean. Restaurant can be found in5 min until 11:00 in September. The buffet breakfast is excellent. It serves from 5am , which is perfect for our morning flight.

Staying for one night, the room is small, but it is not easy to have a private bathroom in Iceland. Breakfast is provided in the morning, which is OK. Staff English is very good and very welcoming! Very close to the airport. The surrounding environment is good and there is also its own restaurant next to the Duus Museum.

Pros: - short drive to airport - common areas make up for tiny rooms - early “breakfast” Cons: - breakfast lacking in so many ways - property cleanliness questionable – bathroom, black coverings - flattest pillows ever (the covers were thicker than the pillow) - no space whatsoever - very low effort and one of our most expensive stays Summary: Unfortunately, the B&B Guesthouse in Keflavik missed the mark in many, many ways and there is evident lack of overall care whilst riding on the coat tails of an 8.x positive review score they likely had years and years ago. The only saving grace was that this was our last stay prior to leaving and it made us want to return home after our time in this beautiful country. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was not available. When the attendant finally returned and we checked in, we were provided a very very small room with literally a bed with the flattest pillows I’ve ever slept on, tacky black bedding, a shelf mounted above to bump your head on, a wall-mounted television, and that’s it. We elected for accommodation with a private bathroom and in our case we found possible mold contamination (unacceptable). The common area fortunately offered some reprieve and extra space, but it was again a small space overall. “Breakfast” was self-serve and by far the most basic set up of all properties we stayed at. Very simple, very basic, and very low effort. The biggest kicker was the cost of this stay was quite high at time of booking, and the price we paid was more than the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip (which had a bathroom bigger than the ENTIRE room & bathroom here). In short, B&B Guesthouse Keflavik is highly NOT recommended unless the price is right and you do not have a car for transport. If you are driving, there are many options even in other areas and you can drive to the airport first thing in the morning. I’d even resort to a night in the car instead. Very good hotel, excellent location, large public areas and very warm feeling. The room was the largest we stayed in Iceland and could easily spread out 2 boxes. Opposite is the lighthouse, the weather is clear, you can see the aurora directly from the window (sea view room can, the other side will have the light pollution of the airport). The hotel drives 10 kilometers to the airport and will pass a small town.
