George Limerick Hotel

I stayed here as my partner was having his 50th in the city and as a treat i booked this hotel beautiful big room. Woke the next morning to bites on my leg wash my leg and didn't think much more of them until more bites started to appear on my body! With a trip to my G.P as i couldn't sleep with the itching and hotness it was confirmed as BED BUGS! I rang hotel 3 separate times and spoke to 3 different people and was told that they would get Exterminators into the room and not 1 phone call did i get from any manager to ask me about my experience... i also emailed the hotel and sent photos and no response!!!. Its been 4weeks since I've stayed to say I'm disappointed in my experience is an understatement.
Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel

We visited in early April with our nearly two year old son. This hotel is great for young families with fabulous amenities onsite from the pet farm, playroom, and poo.l. we parked the car and didn't leave for two days. We both got the chance to use the spa facilties, which were top-notch. Breakfast had plenty of choice , the restaurant on both evenings was class. Very friendly helpfull staff couldn't do enough for us. Great chat out of the young bar man also. As a gaa fan, it was nice to see the players of a young limerick & Clare teams popping in for their dinner. Would love to return again this year hopefully Thanking you The Smiths

Personal freundlich.
Longcourt House Hotel

Went as a family of 8, had pre booked our table. Sitting for half an hour before they even took our drink order! Another 20+ mins before our food came out, orders all wrong and our food was actually cold! Sitting waiting to order dessert for another half an hour while three young waitress were having a fine old chat, our table wasn't even cleaned off, so in the end after waiting almost 40 mins we stood up and left, without dessert, table still not even cleaned off. Went to pay and an elderly man was ahead of me, a male member of staff was arguing loudly with the elderly man saying that he had chips with his meal and the elderly man was saying that he hadn't, whether or not the poor old man had chips it was very unpleasant and unprofessional the way the member of staff was arguing with him in front of me. Anyway, it was a different member of staff that dealt with me and to be fair he was a lovely young man, I voiced my dissatisfaction to him but assured him it wasn't personal, just the service in general, he went to find his supervisor and after another 20 minutes wait he eventually came back, minus the supervisor and said that the supervisor had said to knock 10% off my bill. Well all I can say is our meal was ruined and it was a meal for my husband's birthday. I was also very unwell on the evening in question as I suffer from Crohn's disease and this added stress definitely didn't help. Would I go back again, not a hope! Steer well clear, lots of other fantastic places to eat in West Limerick/ North Kerry.
The Savoy Hotel
4.3/5102 Reviews
It was almost midnight when we arrived in Limerick in search of a hotel for the night. On booking.com we managed to secure a room at the Savoy. We were greeted by Tony on arrival. Due to it being a Friday night, they were not expecting a new booking. He referred to the night manager, Alli who was incredibly gracious and helpful. He managed to allocate a room for us, assisted with parking and luggage, advised us on activities for the next day and even offered us the use of the executive lounge when he realised we were quite exhausted from travelling. We didn’t make use of the lounge because we just wanted to get to bed but the gesture in itself was really welcoming. We would have loved to stay longer.

Travelodge Limerick Castletroy

Extremely poor service ok the 21st April 2021 in this venue. When I arrived at the venue there was no one on reception and I was left standing at reception for 1hour (9.35pm-10.34pm). I rang the land line 3 times. I rang the porter camera bell 5 times and no one arrived. At 10.35pm a staff member came and it was evident she has been sleeping and gave a half hearted “sorry” for the delay. Entirely unacceptable

Nice hotel with a supermarket next to it and free parking. The rooms are large, spacious and bright, the facilities are relatively new, and they are comfortable to live in. Cost-effective.

Attentive and friendly staff. Excellent service and food in the restaurant. Fiona the health and beauty therapist is gifted at her job and worth the stay alone. Tranquil places to relax like the garden patio, and two drawing rooms and the ample bar area. Rooms was and bed were huge.
