Ibis Styles Sevilla City Santa Justa

This hotel was the nicest, most chic hotel I've ever stayed in! I would come back just to stay in the hotel. All ibis Styles have a unique look and feel to them, and this one was perfect. Very stylish but in an accessible and comfortable way, I loved the mural by the lifts and all the cute scallop details. My friend and I stayed in a twin room with 2 single beds which was fairly compact but well presented. Our room faced the main road so we could hear a little traffic noise throughout the night but nothing too bad. Walk in shower was huge, although we did have the smell of sewage come up on occasion. Our stay had breakfast included, which we wouldn't have booked if there was an option without, but the buffet options were very varied (suitable vegetarian options) and it set us up well for each day of exploring the city. The rooftop pool was on the smaller side but perfectly fine to use, if a little on the colder side as not heated. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols to go around, with a really large covered seating area adjacent to the pool and next to the bar as well. There is a courtyard on the ground floor too that was really pretty to sit in. My friend and I had 4 days in Seville which was the perfect length of time to explore. The hotel is a little out of the main hustle and bustle of the city, but a 20min walk will take you right into the thick of it. On our last day we hired docking bikes which was such a good idea - Seville felt very safe to cycle in as there are dedicated cycle lanes and also a good way to explore the Maria Luisa park and ride along the river. There is a docking station right opposite the hotel. We took the bus to and from the airport which was very convenient, the buses ran quite frequently and it cost €4 each way so relatively cheap too. Overall, the hotel was really great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Seville city break!

Great resort with really friendly staff. Would recommend this resort, the staff in reception and bar/restaurant were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The apartment was newly refurbished and spotlessly clean. The balcony was not overlooked and the apartment had a well equipped kitchen. I can find nothing to complain about this resort. It is positioned close to the beach and there are a number of very nice restaurants nearby. To find them leave the resort from the main entrance walk down towards the beach and turn right. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.
Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport
4.1/5133 Reviews
After a very delayed flight, I ended up arriving in the early hours by taxi at the Holiday Inn to a very warm welcome from the lovely Receptionist who checked me in very quickly. Previous reviews complain about the minimum 19e taxi fare, but when it's late in the evening/the early hours, it's not bad at all. I headed to my room which was on the third floor and was very pleased with it. It was large and comfortable with a nice, comfortable bed, desk, TV and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was large and had a bath as well as a shower. The bath was welcome after such a long flight. I had a great sleep. The hotel was very peaceful and I didn't hear a sound all night, despite it being a busy airport hotel. The next morning I enjoyed a cup of tea in my room before going to breakfast which I was very impressed with. It had something for everyone. I really enjoyed the tortilla and the different bread rolls and Iberian pate. There was also cheese, ham, pastries, yogurts etc. on offer as well as a coffee/tea machine and fresh juices. Staff were all welcoming and really friendly. I hope to return to the Holiday Inn Express very soon.
Alborán Algeciras

Dear travellers (in particular those with canine companions), In my case a large wolf like being that I describe as my second daughter. I have worked at an executive level in customer service in both corporate and hospitality environments my entire life. It is my passion!! And as such, I expect to receive a certain standard in return when I travel to other countries. I rarely have time to leave reviews except under exceptional circumstances and one of those exceptional experiences happened at this Hotel in the last week. Furthermore, I feel that not doing so, would not only do an injustice to the Hotel Alboran and its wonderful staff, but also to anyone thinking of visiting or passing through Algeciras, in case they miss out on the opportunity for a Top Class stay at a Top Class hotel where I found what can only be described as the 'perfect' customer experience. I was finding it difficult to find pet-friendly accommodation as I made my way from Spain to Portugal on the south coast I finally came across this hotel and it's amazing staff who treated me and my best friend to a standard of genuine care I've rarely experienced anywhere else in Europe and probably the world. All the staff were amazing, without exception, however I need to explicitly thank May and Cristobel who went out of their way to make us feel very welcome and no amount of assistance was an inconvenience BUT THEN THERE WAS MARIA, the icing on the cake. Saint Maria , ☺️, combined professionalism, care and genuine empathy, love for animals and work ethic far above and beyond the call of duty, in the perfect blend of hospitality, even spending some of her personal time helping me with a very challenging matter on my upcoming travels. Her attention and dedication was relentless and seemed almost effortless. 5 stars definitely for the Alboran hotel for my stay, 10 stars if I could for the team…. but Maria, take the Milky Way number of stars and add 1. 😀 Owners/ Management of Hotel Alboran, in Maria, you have an absolute gem. She is a keeper!!! What an ambassador for your brand!! To all travelers planning a trip in the region, if you want to relax and be genuinely taken care of by a staff that work together in a wonderful team, in a luxurious and spotlessly clean environment, plan your next stay in this hotel ! Rates are also very competitive for the area. 🤗🤗……. As the Terminator once said... I'll be back!!😎 To all my fellow Irish for a service, better than the homeland, guaranteed, You gotta stop over. To Maria. Thank you again!! 🙏

Fantastic holiday, 3rd time here. The staff are so welcoming and attentive to all guests. The whole complex is kept very clean. The on site restaurant is very good as well. You are within a 7 euro taxi ride to La Cala or Fuengirolla if you want to go shopping. There is great entertainment on poolside every day with bingo etc and at the onsite restaurant 4 nights a week they have live singers who are very good.
La Barracuda

Another lovely stay at la barracuda, roof top bar is amazing ( draft beer would make it perfect) The sea view from our room was fantastic, Barracuda has a large pool so great if you want to do some proper swimming . Simply go out the promenade gate and your on the beach front , with its abundance of beach restaurants and bars serving everything from tapas , fresh fish and amazing paella. Breakfast at the hotel is pretty good and most the staff helpful . We are returning in a few weeks for a family holiday , which is probably the best praise I can give the hotel !!!!!

Macarena
Good clean comfortable hotel. We went during peak hot season, the air-conditioning in the room was perfect. Breakfast is simple and nice. May be it was not very busy at this time, but they allowed to stay in the room 2 hours beyond the scheduled check-out time. Overall very happy experience in the hotel for 3 nights. Only a very small observation is the location of the hotel is around 5 km away from the Seville main historic centre.

Cleanliness: The room and the bathroom was spotless and very spacious for the price we pay. Can not fault it at all Location: The hotel is on a corner of roads. It wasn’t easy for us to spot the first time when your driving. You have to park and walk, and then you will see a sign for the hotel. There is no free street parking unless you park after 2030-0730, but during the day you will struggle. The hotel provides parking but for an additional fee. There is also a supermarket next door that serves cheap or reasonable shopping items which we used. Service: The staff were lovely during check in and check out. The hotel had its own restaurant and the staff over there were lovely. Amenities: The hotel has its own private swimming pool on the first floor. It’s not heated so we didn’t use it as the weather wasn’t warm either. The room had towels and toiletries provided including a hair dryer. There was running hot water. Downside: I couldn’t say anything bad for about the hotel. For the price we paid, we experienced only the best. The only issue we had was parking since we didn’t want to pay the additional fee but other than that, I couldn’t complain about the hotel at all

I'm so happy I finally found a place that I can say I've really enjoyed my time in.Staff who really know what it's all about-HOSPITALITY. Great welcome on my arrival, very comprehensive explanations as to where everything was and how to access things.I know people have complained about depositS for this that and the other-GET OVER IT.Ive stayed in higher end hotel who do the same. Eva ,Arthur and Fernando at Reception where excellent throughout my visit.I ate quite a bit at the hotel and I found the food good and the pleasantness and efficiency of all staff without exception to be wonderful. I asked for a room change on day two,as there was quite a loud group next to my original room and it was sorted immediately. The spa has all you could want also, and again a very pleasant guy takes care of things there. Finally, the room, again its got all you need.I had beautiful sea view, lovely dark wood floors, great shower and amenities aswell as wonderful Housekeeping. This hotel is mainly geared for LGBTQ client and as a member of that community I can recommend this hotel to you-Its great. Well done to everyone involved I'm making my first trip to Torremolinos so memorable and wonderful. John P Murphy xx
