Hotel without infamy or praise central location in the very dirty neighborhood of Lapa....decent breakfast....single beds quite comfortable...pillows too high and with no alternative to having a lower one...short darkened curtains at 6am morning and already light... swimming pool on the top floor too small given the 13 floors of the hotel and therefore with a lot of people

I left disappointed even tho I had to extend a few time due to the fact that most of the hotels were occupied since it was carnival time. I strongly believe that they could have been more prepaid for the amount of guests and provide more of comfort. They charged for water in the room, I think it should be complementary always. There was a place for a fridge, but no fringe whatsoever. The room was really small and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The lights are too dimmed in the hall that gives you an impression that you’re in a club or something. The staff was friendly and helpful however I would not stay there again. Maybe it’s because of the carnival, normally I would want to believe they do their job much better. For me what was important: Restaurant: I could have dinner at the hotel always: you just pay 45R$ entrance to dining area and you can serve yourself with the buffet fresh made food. I enjoyed this option so much. Location: was very nice, subway is in 10 minutes walk, the Pyramid is in walking distance as well as museum of future and downtown. The beaches are very far, so you should take a taxi or metro. Pool/rooftop: none 🥲

Chegamos ao hotel por volta das 17h50, e já na entrada, ao questionarmos ao segurança a respeito do estacionamento do hotel, recebemos apenas a resposta de que estava lotado. Questionamos onde seria o tal estacionamento, e o mesmo respondeu que era logo após o prédio, em um portão branco. Estacionamos o carro ao lado, e não havia, no portão ou em algum ponto perto dele, indicação de que aquele era o estacionamento do hotel, bem como sua lotação. Chegamos em um horário já distante do tempo em que se inicia o checkin, mas mesmo assim nos deparamos com uma enorme fila para fazê-lo. Após passarmos mais ou menos 40 minutos na fila, fizemos o checkin e subimos para o quarto. O quarto em si é bom, apesar de ter pontos que necessitam de atenção. Ele é muito mal iluminado, contando apenas com dois ”spots” de luz, bem pequenos, e um abajur. Além disso, no banheiro encontrei muitas falhas no teto, inclusive uma parte que parece como um alçapão, porém toda deteriorada. No dia seguinte, quando fomos ao café da manhã, nos deparamos com mais uma fila. Chegamos ao café da manhã por volta das 9h40, ou seja, faltando 20 min para o fim do serviço, que em si é muito bom, porém me chamou atenção para certos pontos. Como o salão principal estava lotado, alocaram os hóspedes em outro salão improvisado, no saguão do hotel, que imagino ser uma prática devido à lotação habitual do fim de semana. O café da manhã oferecido é bom, porém nada fora do comum. O serviço é precário, os 30 minutos em que estivemos sentados, não passou nenhum funcionário para recolher os pratos que os outros hóspedes haviam deixado na mesa, além de falta de reposição quanto a pratos e talheres. Já visitei alguns hotéis pelo mundo afora, mas nunca vi um hotel que imediatamente no horário em que se encerra o buffet, começa a rapidamente recolher toda a comida disponível. O que sempre vi são os funcionários pararem de repor a comida em certo horário. Dada as filas do hotel, o mínimo seria o horário ser extendido aos finais de semana, penso eu. Por fim, no checkout, o diálogo com o recepcionista foi rápido e sucinto. Ele questionou se haviamos consumido algo do frigobar, e era isso. Não havia papel para assinar, não havia conferência do quarto, nada. Então tá... Não chegamos a utilizar a piscina e a academia, por isso não posso escrever sobre. Minha opinião final é que o hotel é muito grande, bonito e bem localizado. No entanto peca em muitos pontos, como conservação e administração em si.

Hotel with many passengers and therefore very noisy, all the noise entered the room. Late check-in. The room key/card would not get the room, three times I had to go to the front desk until the key worked. The terrace and the pool are very small. It's not an ugly hotel, but...

The hotel is in a very good location , 15 min walking from the beach. Nearby the bridge, so we didn’t need to use the ferry boat to cross the river or walk long distances. Barra da Tijuca is perfect , the best beach ! Later we went to Copacabana but we regret don’t staying longer in Barra da Tijuca as we liked it more than Copacabana, the beach is cleaner, less people, more quiet .

Carol at Ramada Hotel Recreio has helped me a lot in booking rooms, answering my questions and being resourceful. She is really professional and caring, and has exceptional customer service skills. She always has a smile on her face and really goes out of her way whenever I requested her help. I think she is the biggest asset Ramada Hotels have here and should be recognized as such.

I stayed there for five nights in January 2020, and have only good things to say about the hotel. Nice and clean room, good food in the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff (with good advices about where to go - and not to go), great location (400 meters from Copacabana beach and across the street from Cardeal Arcoverde metro station) and in a pretty busy and safe part of the city, with many shops and restaurants. Not too expensive rooms. They can also offer transport to the international airport for 25 real. That's much cheaper than taxi!

I stayed in a room with crumbling old mattresses. The sink and shower were clogged, pooling water. The hotel photos look better than it actually is.

Well located hotel. We were upgraded to a sea view room facing the sea. We should have had a side sea view. Only shame was that we had the antennas located on the roof of the building in front of the room's balcony. We nevertheless had a view of Rio (Botafogo), the Pao d Acucar, the beaches of Niterói, we were close to MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art) After a very hot day, we really enjoyed the heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good. I recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel from room views and the the pool side and the garden beachfront so relaxing 🌅🌇 breakfast Is everything good.🥐🍳 wonderful stays disabled access ♿ toilet, elevator 🛗 so cool haha I was just confused the turnings round elevator abc number anyways on the the room.arw in circles too ☺️ probably it's the designs infrastructure is cute tallest building I love everything and would choose this hotel when comes to Rio de Janeiro don't skip to stay and experience this paranomic views,the hotel stuff are really nice the ladies ,the doorman and even the one helps our luggage the front parking lot big space taxis are outside ready to go.ooh the area is closer to leblon and far from Copacabana,I stay from the Centro when I book the hotel don't have clue how far this hotel from where I was so better check the map me or Google haha 😂 so you won't feel lost like me.its very Forest mountain 🏔️ sides and it's cooler it's difirent sides of town I guess the resort is very outstanding from the area Have a shotp,have good foods, actually don't need to go out if you come for relaxing 🌅 massage,beach eat chilling stay in the morning the sunrise 🌅 so beautiful birds chirping so calm 🦜🦜🦜🦜 it's perfect hotel for me the room have smart light or just a multi colored lights haha makes it more night so romantic ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️

Procurava por um hotel bem localizado para não precisar usar o carro para deslocamentos dentro da cidade de Búzios. Acabei escolhendo o Selina Búzios por estar praticamente dentro da Rua de Pedras e com fácil acesso a restaurantes e praias da região. O quarto é extremamente espaçoso e a cama muito confortável. O ar condicionado deu conta do amplo quarto e o chuveiro a gás funcionou muito bem, assim como todo o restante. Fomos muito bem atendidos, especialmente no restaurante. A única coisa que deixou a desejar foi o serviço de quarto que passava em horários totalmente aleatórios (em plena alta temporada) e não realizou a troca de toalhas a cada três dias conforme constava nas regras gerais. Precisei no mesmo dia solicitar por duas vezes na recepção o serviço que não ocorreu. Acabou que eu mesmo peguei as toalhas novas e realizei a troca. A localização é realmente privilegiada. Poucos passos de ótimos restaurantes e da parte badalada de Búzios. Para ir as praias optei por não tirar o carro da garagem e utilizar o serviço de uber e barco táxi. Estacionamentos na região ultrapassam os R$50, por isso da minha escolha. A piscina é bem grande e esteve limpa por todo o período em que estivemos hospedados. O fundo é pintado e em vários trechos a tinta está descolando. O melhor seria se fosse de azulejo. É uma parte muito interessante do hotel com muitas cadeiras e locais para passar o tempo no entorno. Na alta temporada de Janeiro, paguei um valor de R$400 a diária incluindo acomodação e estacionamento. Optei por não pegar o café da manhã, há muitos bons locais oferecendo o serviço e gastava em torno de R$25 para duas pessoas. Acho que valeu a pena a escolha do hotel considerando os preços praticados nos hotéis da região na alta temporada.

We had a wonderful stay at Casas Brancas! The hotel is stunning with amazing views over the water, especially at sunset. It's in a fantastic location so you can easily walk down to the main town. All of the staff are lovely, especially Gabriel who was very nice and attentive. The whole front office team were very helpful and most speak English, which was so helpful for us coming from Australia and not being able to speak Portugese or Spanish. We would definitely recommend staying here, and look to return someday in the future!

The guest placed the first day in a room in works, was dirty and did not fulfill the q we bought; the second day, by complaint we changed the room, but this happened only pq one room unoccupied. If not, I would have a bedroom in works and dirty, and we bought a bedroom with balcony and front to the garden, and they put it in a hidden room and in works.

Excellent place all very cosy, very friendly staff, very rich and varied breakfast, clean rooms and beautiful price quality very good relationships. Wifi very well cellular devices, but with room TV we could not connect Netflix the day we treated, for them that day there was rain I think that affects the signal

Pousada nova, funcionários muito educados e prestativos! Custo/benefício excelente!!! Os quartos são muito confortáveis e tem varanda. O café da manhã é simples mas bom. Fica um pouco distante da praia mas não chega a ser um problema. A capacidade para automóveis é limitada a 3 vagas mas a rua é bem tranquila!!

The service at the pool by the waiters, especially Danilo, deserves a round of applause. The menu has fair prices for different tastes and dishes. Everything very delicious. Don't forget to try the super filling shrimp pastry and the sun-dried meat with cassava. We didn't like the noise from the air conditioning, and the service from the reservations department, staff who were harsh in their responses. Excellent pool. Location note 1000

El hotel es muy lindo, la vista es espectacular. Las habitaciones son muy lindas y completas, con aire acondicionado, colchones buenísimos y espaciosas. La comida del restaurante es accesible para los precios de buzios y buena. Se puede disfrutar mucho de la pileta y el servicio de Hernán y sus drinks es increíble 👏🏻.

Large rooms, almost no artificial lighting, public areas are very new and complete, and a wide variety of breakfasts. Due to the small number of people affected by the pandemic, the food ordering service in the pool area takes a long time. Room cleaning will only be carried out on the 01 day of the 3 nights of the 5 nights we requested to stay in the hotel. The parking system adopts a first-come, first-served principle. In peak season, there is no parking space suitable for everyone. The employees are receptive and helpful, which greatly improves the customer's awareness of a good experience.

The hotel is in a very good location , 5 minutes walking and you are on the beach . It’s a very beautiful building and the room is clean, the service was very good, all the employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with many options, including fruits and local things. We stayed during New Year’s Eve , and we choose a good place to escape from the crowd Copacabana, Praia do Recreio is more quiet and clean, there were some noises from fireworks but nothing comparing to Copacabana.

The hotel is located just 1 minute from the beach, the attention is spectacular.

We only spend 1 night in the hotel, arrived at 13h on day 04/09 on day 12h. We went on an indication of a friend and was a great experience. We arrived just before the check-in time, it is 14:00, and we could get up to the apt. We asked for room service for lunch, the meal came fast and was very tasty. No charge is charged for served on the apt. The values of the cardapio are compatible, nothing out of the normal. The large suit, comfortable bed, fridge supplied with water and refrigerant and without charge to use with your things; good bathroom, good shower. We were in front of the lifts, we thought it would be noisy, but for our happiness it was quiet, a good morning coffee with many options, the staff of the reception could be more nice, but nothing to catch the stay. Super recommendation!

Um hostel com uma organização muito boa pela rotatividade de pessoas que circulam por lá, Kendi é muito prestativo na recepção, as vezes senti falta de segurança pois tem muito entre e sai e nunca se sabe quem é hóspede ou está passando por lá pois quem quer paga uma taxa e pode usar o hostel como um clube pois tem piscina, sauna a vapor(úmida) guardadeiro de pranchas, aulas de yoga, cursos de surf, entre outras atividades, a cama é super confortável, tem disponível tomada e iluminaria em cada cama, gavetão pra guardas mala, ar condicionado e ventilador único problema é que no quarto coletivo eles deixam as camas em baixo para quem não quer subir a escada para as camas de cima q ficam a mais de 2 metros de altura, eu acho que deveria ser entregue as camas por ordem de chegada, a cozinha coletiva é limpa e em ordem, os banheiros também sempre limpo e organizado, a localização é muito boa perto de praias e supermercados. Eu gostei muito desse Hostel na verdade ali na região acho que é um dos melhores que já fiquei.
