Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nara Natural Hot Spring

Pretty new and clean, just 3 mins walk from JR west exit. Spacious resting and changing area for public bath so comparatively the pool seems not big enough.

Nara Treasure Inn!! If you like the atmosphere of a Japanese family hotel and don't mind a small room, this one is really suitable for a solo traveler. The room is quieter and cleaner, with tatami mats, small but complete. The bath on the first floor is a private bath reserved by time slot, very hot, so more than 40 minutes of time slot is enough. The front desk brother on duty at night is handsome and ok in English, and is very helpful. For example, he let me take the last minute of the remaining bathroom time slot (it was already ten minutes later when I arrived), take a bath and stroll around the small streets. It is also close to the commercial street (but everything is closed at night), and the surrounding environment and hotel atmosphere are great.

Very Friendly staff Very strict on the timing of ”checking in”: Even though we arrived 245pm, they ask us to come back at 3pm for check in, but they offer to keep our luggages for us FOC. Free Soba noodle at 930pm was tasty morning breakfast was excellent

The location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.
Super Hotel Premier Jr Nara Eki
9.4/5223 Reviews
The hotel is next to JR Nara Station, and there are buses to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple. The transportation is very convenient. There are 2 hot spring pools, one of which can be ventilated outdoors, and the feeling is also good. The most important thing is that the price is affordable. If you come to Nara, it is worth staying. The triple room has upper and lower bunks, and there is enough space. There are also many izakayas near the train station hotel. In addition, you can drink for free in the hotel bar before 21:00, and you can even buy octopus balls downstairs and bring them up to eat. (The hotel welcomes food)
Ryokan Asukasou at the Entrancne of Nara Park

A typical Japanese inn, 5 minutes from Kintetsu Station and 10 minutes from Todaiji Temple. There is a lake in front of the hotel, which is pleasing to the eye. The room is also quite spacious. It's a pity that the viewing terrace is not open in winter. The Yakushi Pagoda is under renovation recently, which means that the characteristic landscape is not used, which is a pity. The service staff are very enthusiastic, and reservations must be made in advance for dining in the hotel.
Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara

The hotel has a very Japanese style, the design is very beautiful, the stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The reception staff were very considerate from check-in to check-out. It is recommended to check in early to enjoy the hotel service and atmosphere. If you are walking from Kintetsu Nara Station to the hotel while pushing your luggage, there is a section of rough road that may make it difficult to push your luggage. You may consider taking a taxi, which takes about 5 minutes. The hotel is very close to Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, and Nara Museum, and it is very convenient to go to attractions.
Grandvrio Hotel Nara -Wakura- -Route Inn Hotels-

I booked a twin room, but when I got there it turned out to be a double. I then contacted the front desk and was promptly shown to a twin room. The building, the room, and the large communal bath were all clean. The free drink bar was also nice. However, it was closed at night, which was inconvenient when I was thirsty. I know that the tap water in the bathroom is drinkable, but I'm not really comfortable with it, so if they just provided bottled water in the room I'd have no complaints. Overall it was a very good place to stay.
Shigisan Kanko Hotel

Idealy located to visit Shigisan, a 5min walk from the entrance ! A very pleasant Onsen (indoor and Outdoor) is in the hotel. Note however that they don't serve diner and all restaurants are closed in the evening, so make sure you plan accordingly !

It's unexpected that you can book such a good hotel at this price. Much better than the Osaka hotel I booked at about the same price
