"Miyazaki Kanko Hotel stands along Tachibana Koen-dori Street (1-1-1 Matsuyama, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, 880-8512) overlooking the Oyodo River. It is a large, well-established hotel. There is a large hot spring bath on the first floor of the West Wing, and on the second floor is Shokusai Kenbi Ichiboku Ichiso, where the breakfast buffet is located. A dinner buffet is also available. The hotel is old, so there is nothing new about it, but the rooms are spacious, the utility room is spacious, and the bathtub is also large. There is only an AC outlet for power, no USB, and the AC at the desk has to be plugged in through a wall socket at the foot of the desk, which gives it a sense of history, but this is not a problem."

"The scenery was absolutely beautiful! Lions fans would definitely be thrilled. I checked in around 8 PM, but it was really dark with few streetlights, so it was a bit scary getting there, haha. It turned out to be a memorable trip to Miyazaki!"

The fact that the hair dryers and showerheads were ReFa products is also a nice touch, especially for women. The location is in a bar district, so it's perfect for those who enjoy drinking."

You must try their weekend buffet, the spread and quality of food is good.   The only thing I find weird is that all guest must changed to the slipper the hotel provided to move around within the facilities. Anyway, overall experience is good."

Make use of convenient amenities, which include complimentary wireless internet access and a vending machine. Breakfast is available for a fee. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Stay in one of 124 guestrooms featuring flat-screen televisions. "The affiliated parking fee was 1,000 yen per night, and you could enter and exit freely, but you had to take your parking ticket to the front desk each time you entered and exited. The location is very good, so I think 1,000 yen per night is cheap. The free drink bar has a wide selection of shochu, fruit liqueurs, charcoal water, and ice, so you can make a variety of chuhai and cocktails by combining them. The natural hot spring is not large (it can fit 5 or 6 people), but it is clean and the quality of the spring is good. The free breakfast buffet has a decent variety of side dishes and freshly baked bread, all of which are delicious, and the coffee is also delicious. Overall, it feels like a business hotel with a lot of service. It was clean, the front desk was kind and polite, and it was a comfortable stay. However, there is only one elevator that can accommodate about 10 people, and the emergency stairs are not open, so it gets crowded around 8:30 in the morning. Someone I met at the hotel said that if there are many group guests staying, you may have to wait for the elevator for more than 10 minutes."

A nice hotel to rest after a long day drive. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and polite. There's a free parking beside the hotel too. And you can enjoy the hot spring in the hotel for free. There is a small bath tub in the room's toilet too. This hotel is quite close to 高干穗峡. The reason I choose this hotel is because of the distance to 高干穗峡 and they are the most affordable hotel within that area. Overall this is a nice hotel, I will definitely visit there again if I go to Kyushu again!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shikimi. The staff was delightful. They were all so nice and helpful. We also loved the food and they went over and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The location was perfect for walking to local tourist spots. If I ever return to Takachiho, I would stay there again.

Our stay at Marushinso Ryokan was truly memorable. Easily accessible by car, this family-run ryokan offers an authentic experience with spacious rooms and well-maintained shared facilities. The onsen is particularly delightful, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. What truly sets Marushinso Ryokan apart is the food. The authentic cuisine is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making every meal a highlight of our stay. We highly recommend this ryokan for anyone seeking a genuine and delightful Japanese experience.
