Hot Springs Hotels in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

My non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Fortunately the staff were exceptional, and I soon received another room. One staff told me that because the room was ”Japanese Style”, and that I had to take the bedding from the closet, move the low table and make up my own futon. I live in Japan and I know what a ”Japanese Style” room is. Ryokans of a good grade will have staff make up the futons. When a hotel is too large, the work of making up the futons for all rooms becomes onerous, however, one wonders why ”five star hotel” if one has to make up one's own futon AND receive education on what a ”Japanese Style” room entails [ I am in the hotel business]. The lobby is bleak and looks cheap. No style, no charm. The seating is ugly and cheap. There are real plants here and there but no cut flowers. Cut flowers are very expensive in Japan. Too expensive for this hotel. The final point is that I booked this specific hotel in order to take a swim. Although the weather was fine, the pool had closed the day before I arrived. The pool was still full of water, perfect and peaceful, but ”closed”. No doubt, this saves on staff and other expenses, in the same way that making up one's own futon does . . . all this is fine for a hostel, but not for a luxury hotel. I have been generous with my star-giving because I like to be kind, and because several of the staff were truly exceptional in their kindness and service, however, we hope that the management will note our comments. Please pay for more staff and please keep your pool open as long as the weather permits. Global warming means pools can stay open longer. :-)

It's close to the station and has a hot spring and sauna on the top floor. It's a low-temperature sauna that even sauna beginners can use, so it was easy to get in. I stayed on the 7th floor and the view was great. You can even see the Shinkansen from some rooms! The noise from the next room is a bit annoying, but it's not a problem. Dinner and breakfast are included for free. Even if you don't have dinner, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so it's not a problem. Breakfast is a buffet, so you can have as much as you like of whatever you like, which is great. I'd like to stay here again.

It seems to be the only hotel in the area. Have stayed a few times and the breakfast is pretty good. Comfortable and clean room

The hotel is right next to the Architectural wonders of Awaji and you can view them with the seaview as a background right from the balcony. The size of the room is also very comfortable. Would also like to recommend booking the breakfast buffet. We have tried two restaurants from the hotel and bought souvenirs from the shop and have nothing to complain about.

I used it for my first trip. There are places to play nearby, and there is also a hot spring, so I am very satisfied. The reason I lowered my rating the most is because I couldn't enjoy it due to renovations and inadequate facilities. There were quite a few issues like that, so I wondered if that was reflected in the price plan, so I only lowered the rating as minimally as possible. But overall I am satisfied.

Very nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)

Enjoy the whole journey at the hotel. Staff are very nice and they provide transport service to pick you up from or to bus station when you check-in or check-out. The hotspring is very good especially the outdoor one. The Japanese style room provides wonderful experience. The meals are incredible.

As soon as I parked my car, someone helped me pick up my luggage and get into the hotel. There was my name on the welcome sign in front of the hotel (there was also a name sign in front of the door for breakfast and dinner). I felt very valued; all the waiters were very kind and helpful, and some The waiter is a ********* student who came here for a trial internship, so communication is much easier. The hotel has a shuttle. When you go out for a walk, you can call wtsapp to be picked up at a designated location, which is very convenient. 3. As soon as we enter the hotel, someone will put away our shoes, and the waiter will take us to the hotel to introduce all facilities, lounges, hot springs, breakfast/dinner locations, yukata giving, etc., and also introduce nearby cafes, restaurants, and check-in slots. , 7 major hot springs outside and other details. If the hotel is listed, you can enjoy the 7 major hot springs for free. (I asked the waiter that there is no need to cover up tattoos in the hotel’s hot springs) 4. There is a pavilion in the room, which is very beautiful, and the photo check-in is excellent; the Japanese room is very spacious, and can accommodate 4 large luggages. One side is a Japanese room for sitting, and the other side is for beds. 5 people need to sleep in the same Japanese room. The two Japanese rooms can be separated by a sliding door. Be a little quieter; when we have dinner, the waiter will help us lay out the tatami. The dinner is very rich, so full that we can't walk, and it is so delicious (there are red snow crab and beef). From what I observed, the waiter at dinner and bed is The same person, the service is still excellent and meticulous, I admire you! 5. The latest dinner we choose is 6:30 (5:30, 6:00 and 6:30pm time slots are selected). There are fireworks to watch just after dinner (9:00pm). The icing on the cake is that they are set off at the station, so we have to go after dinner. Wear a yukata and enjoy the fireworks directly outside the hotel. The 5-minute fireworks are really beautiful, especially at this moment. After the fireworks, you can soak in the hot springs directly in the hotel. Note that the lounge closes at 10:00pm for drinks and snow. Bars are provided, but alcohol is charged. The hotel closes at 12:00am, so if you continue to soak, you can still enjoy the drinks in the lobby (only frozen water, frozen black bean tea and coffee). 6. I went to bed very early after soaking in the hot spring. The hotel opens at 5:30 in the morning, so you can take one more dip in the morning. Breakfast is at 7:30/8:00am, and checkout is at 10:00am after breakfast. Tip: Go to Kinosaki Sea World. If your children want to touch penguins or feed dolphins or related activities, please make a reservation in advance.

Aside from that area is a bit noisy at night (midnight trains/JR) running. Other than that it’s a very convenient area with all the shopping malls and food are around. Will choose this hotel again.
