This was the first stop on a tour of Puglia, and it was a good one. The hotel is well appointed, and within 5 minutes' walk of the bustling harbour area, with lots of nice restaurants. We found Ristorante Al Corsaro down a little side street, which was excellent, and there are lots of little shops selling more than just tourist tat. The food was good, and breakfast was good, with a selection meats, cheeses, pastries (the local pasticcio - a tart filled with almond custard - is excllent), fruit, cereals and cooked eggs and bacon. The coffee was good, too. Complimentary water supplied. The pool was nice, but it is separate from the main hotel, and accessed by some steep steps, so those with mobility issues might struggle (the photo was taken from our room, across the hotel grounds). All in all, we wished we could have stayed longer.

Fabulous location. Exquisite food. Polite and friendly staff. Honestly, you don't feel like you're in Foggia but in one of those heavenly places. Even the music was pleasant. Good people at the tables with respect for confidentiality. A truly romantic place. Obviously such an excellent service involves quite justified costs. Just to say, a rich aperitif for two cost €60. In my humble opinion they are all worth it because finally a place in the center of the city on a wonderful terrace, a real spectacle. I highly recommend going there and you will see that you will be amazed.

The best Hotel in Taranto (Italy) It has an amazing management and a very professional women driven leadership who would take care of all your needs and wants throughout your stay.... Especially the rooftop pool and bar is a very special attraction of this property... I went on my honeymoon to this place with my wife and I have to tell you... The grand welcome I received upon arrival and the customer friendly environment we had was absolutely mesmerizing.... If you are in Taranto Italy and looking for a Hotel ..... Please don't have a second thought... Hotel Salina is your place to be .... Managed by the Argento family the place does true justice to what we call the European or Italian hospitality...
