"The biggest surprise during my stay in Tashkurgan was the Banlan Hotel. The entire hotel has a diffused oxygen supply system, and the rooms are spacious and bright. "The hotel is located in town so it’s very convenient for food and shops. The staff is super friendly and helpful with XiaoJia being extremely enthusiastic. Breakfast is simple so set your expectations. Room is clean and well equipped. There’s a gym at the basement and free laundry and dryer. It’s definitely one of the nicer hotels I’ve come across for a town. I was told the owner stays here, I guess that’s why the attention to detail and high standards are there. The resident cat XiaoBai was not enthusiastic unfortunately."
