This is our 2nd time staying in this hotel. Staff were approachable, friendly, and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, cosy, and spacious. Daily top-up of minibar in your rooms. Breakfast was great with set meals for selection on top of the buffet spread. Great location. It's just a stone throw from Jiaoxi train station. Walk down the street for many good foods. Definitely will return again.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for one night and we greatly appreciated Ishi Chen, Nancy Wu and Peggy Wu’s help. We are an old couple with medical issues and the room we received upon check-in was starting to cause my allergies to flare up. Upon speaking to Nancy and Peggy, they listened to my concerns and reported to Ishi, who helped us change our room. As my allergies can cause severe issues to my body, we were afraid that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the rest of our trip in Taiwan. But with the help of them, I didn’t experience an allergic reaction and was able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Ishi, Nancy and Peggy were extremely professional, responsible and kind, so that we could create such precious memories on our trip. Thank you so much.

The hotel is a little small but totally enough for couples, the toilet is those Japanese automatic toilet! Location wise it's quite near the shilin market but it is a distance to walk to the train station (Jiantan station is the nearest) but quite like the experience staying there! There isn't that much stuff to do around other than shilin market which stores usually only start opening around 4pm! However I do recommend going to take a hike at the nearby mountain! 😁

I booked the newly built Gamaran Hotel while traveling to Jiaoxi, Taiwan for a family trip. Starbucks was on the first floor, so it was easy to find the accommodation, and the location was great because it was in the center. The room was a family room, so it had a double bed and two single beds, and it was bigger than other hotels, so it was very comfortable. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was mainly seafood, and we used the second time because there were many guests. There is a discount for guests staying at the hotel, so it would be good to use it. The breakfast was also clean and good. The most important thing is the hot spring!! It is definitely a hot spring village, so my skin was soft~~ I liked it so much that I want to go again next time. The room had a private hot spring, and you can use the open-air bath with a swimsuit, so I recommend that you bring it. I plan to use it again next time. I found a hotel that I like after a long time^^

First time staying in Jiaoxi The reception staff at the hot spring hotel was very friendly and personally took everyone upstairs The room was very clean and tidy, the bathtub was large, you could take a bath, and the water was hot enough The mattress was moderately soft and hard, very comfortable When I stayed there, it happened to be a cold wave, it was super cold, and the air conditioner in the room could also be used as a heater, which was a big plus👍 The accommodation price was affordable, the CP value was high, highly recommended👍

Took us a while to find the hotel as it is deeper inside the town. Once we were there, we realised that we were on the main street, where there is a lot of food and buzz around. Room is big, with a huge bathtub for a few people using hot spring water. Price is reasonable. Many hotels are nearby, with Jiaoxi public foot bath and night market a few steps away. KFC, Mos Burger, bubble tea etc... There is a famous bakery opposite selling delicious bread all day. Tried the famous 三星葱. Nice town to be in...will consider coming back again.

The supplies rack in the bathroom contains the previous guest's supplies - rubber bands and empty supplies bags. There is sea sand in the wash basin. The counter staff was very good. In addition, after booking the hotel, I called the counter to confirm the reservation status and asked about the route and transportation to the hotel. The line staff was very enthusiastic in informing me, but they may have forgotten to tell me that the hotel can reserve a shuttle bus. The food on the second floor is pretty good. Balcony view nearby

Best hotel I've went to so far in Yilan! Loved the spacious room and bathroom - was surprised to see two televisions in the room haha. Everything felt luxurious and clean! What's most important is the super King bed - had a really good sleep :) Pretty convenient located nearby restaurants and shops!

YYu HuanWe recently stayed at Wellspring by Silks in Jiaoxi for a short getaway with my 7-year-old child, and it was one of the most relaxing and family-friendly stays we've had in Taiwan. Location: The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Train Station, making it easy to arrive with a child and luggage. One of the best parts is how close it is to all the great local eateries—from traditional ********* breakfast spots to noodle shops and dessert places, everything is within a short stroll. We loved popping out for quick meals and snacks without planning too much. Even though it's centrally located, the hotel feels like a quiet, relaxing retreat once you're inside. Room: Our room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The private in-room hot spring bath was a huge hit—not just for me but also for my 7-year-old. The water temperature was easy to adjust, and it became our daily ritual to soak and relax. Kid-Friendliness: Although the hotel has a stylish, adult-focused vibe, the staff welcomed children. They provided child-sized slippers, which made my little one feel like a VIP guest. The rooftop pool area was also suitable for kids (with supervision), and we spent a lovely day splashing around with mountain views. One thoughtful bonus: even after we checked out, we were still allowed to use the rooftop pool and hot spring facilities. That extra flexibility made a massive difference for us — it meant we could enjoy one more relaxing soak and a bit of pool time before catching our train home. It showed how the hotel goes the extra mile to accommodate families. Facilities: The rooftop infinity pool and hot spring area are just as beautiful as in the photos—peaceful, scenic, and well-maintained. There's also a cozy lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks, which came in handy for quick breaks between activities. Everything felt clean, well-designed, and easy to access, even with a child. Service: The service was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The front desk staff were helpful with suggestions for nearby places to eat and always greeted my child with a smile. They made us feel welcome from start to finish. Breakfast: Breakfast was a treat for adults and kids — a great mix of Western and ********* options. My 7-year-old especially loved the fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, and mini croissants, while I enjoyed the local touches like sweet potato porridge, scallion pancakes, and handmade soy milk. Overall: Wellspring by Silks is a perfect blend of peaceful luxury and family-friendly comfort. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or with kids, it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy the best of Jiaoxi's hot spring culture. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

SSuzieLocation: Very close to the train station, within walking distance. Also close to the parks and public hot springs. Staff: The staff were friendly, and kept our luggage stored when we checked out. Since I only spoke to them in my terribly broken Mandarin, I don't know how many staff could speak English for foreigners. Room: Very clean, A/C works very well and isn't too noisy. The bed was large and comfortable. There was water, and tea and coffee - I forgot to look in the fridge. Bathroom: Most hotels in Jiaoxi have hot spring bathtubs, and so does VASTY. There were plenty of toiletries and towels, flip-flops, slippers and bathrobes. The bath was lovely. Shower did make the entire floor wet, but not slippery. Other amenities: The rooftop pools (x2) are small, heated to a comfortably warm temperature, and clean enough. There are loungers and chairs. There was a family with two young children playing in one of the pools and taking photos, very cute. Free water, towels and cans of Coca Cola upstairs too! Breakfast: Buffet style with mostly Asian food, but plenty of choice to help oneself to meats, breads, fruits and vegetables. Tea, coffee, milk and juices. We went downstairs for breakfast at around 9am and had to wait for a few minutes, as there were no tables available. Overall, we had a wonderful one night getaway in Jiaoxi, and would stay at VASTY again.

GGuest UserExcellent location right opposite the station. Staffs are nice and friendly. Even the security guard at the entrance was very helpful, helping with my luggage and provided clear direction to the reception floor. The room was nice and clean with decent design and decorations. Personally I love the birdcage styled bluetooth speaker a lot! Joined 2 of their activities during my stay, both are very enjoyable. Dinner at Pure Cuisine was amazing. Definitely recommended.

YyosheEverything was a bit worn out, not necessarily pedestrian-friendly, and expensive for its quality. The only upside was the beach access directly from your room, though, you were not permitted to enter the water.

GGenevievewe had a great stay at the hotel. rather convenient location if you like walking - about 15min from the xinbeitou mrt station. but they do have a shuttle bus for guests from the station as well. the service was impeccable, from the personalised reception on arrival to our departure. the food was great too - a good variety at breakfast and dinner was delicious. we had a great stay at the hotel. thank you for taking care of us!

GGuest UserLocation is great with excellent view over the fisherman’s wharf. However, the arrival experience was quite awkward as once I got up to the room, there were two housekeeping carts right in front of my room and the room door was opened, this gave me an impression that the room was not ready. Besides, service from the Front Desk lady will need to improve as she gave me quite an awkward attitude upon both arrival and departure.
