Hotel near Jiaoxi Station Area/Jiaoxi Hot Spring,Yilan
No. 17 of Hot Spring Hotels in Yilan
Located in the heart of Jiao Xi, walking distance to train/ bus stations. With individual private hot spring tub, Gym, Swimming pool and a variety of spa facilities. Kilin is leading Jiao Xi in to a new travel destination. Also, while you're here. Take advantage of our restaurants where the ingredients are specially selected and locally grown.

"The hot spring bath in the room is spacious, big enough for two people to enjoy. The rooftop nude bath offers great views, and you can even see Guishan Island. The downside is that the Spa facilities on the 3rd floor are old and half of them are out of order. They provide kickboards in the swimming pool, and it's nice that you can still use the facilities after check-out. Our three-day, two-night trip was very relaxing, and it's convenient to buy food nearby."

"My wife and I stayed here for 3 days for a layover returning back to the USA. We wanted something different and affordable, and this was it!! We loved the idea of the personal hot spring tub and did not mind the small room at all. Cleanliness I rated a two do to the amount of water damage and mold in the room. While we didnt make a big fuss of it at the property do to the language barrier and our need to visit the hospital imediatley after our check in. It did not seem to bother our health but wasjust ugly to look at and worrisome for those who are sensitive. I only remembered to take these two photos of the mold:/ but the ceiling in the bedroom had significant water damage and mold in difierent parts of the room. Althought the air filters in the room were cleaned or new! Location I rated a 4 because while I love the quite area and beauitful park right next door. It is up a huge hill and public transportation drops you at the bottom. This leave a 12 ish minute walk up the steep hill. While we didnt mind this, those who are chosing to visit, be prepared or use uber! Service & Amenities 5 stars, little engliah spoken by staff but I dont expect people to conform to my needs. Hot Spring tub was amazing. They cleaned the room up well while we were out!"

"The room is clean and big. There is also a small patio ,but unfortunately it was raining, so we didn't get to enjoy it much. The spring bath inside the room is a bonus, very relaxing and no need to go through the hassle of being naked in public bath. The spring water bath made my skin smooth and soft. The hotel also has public bath and will offer 2 free entries during our one night stay. Will definitely consider to come back again as it's so convenient to get to, only 35 minutes from Taipei station."

"The room was spacious and parking was free, with direct elevator access to the lobby. Right outside were all sorts of delicious old street snacks like stone-grilled BBQ, cabbage buns, potato tarts, fried rice, black tea egg rolls, shrimp crackers, pork rolls, grilled skewers, and aiyu jelly with lemon. FamilyMart and 7-Eleven were also nearby. You could buy everything at once and bring it back to the room to eat, all within walking distance. There were also king oyster mushrooms. It was very close to the pier. The Toto washlet toilet and a non-wall-mounted hairdryer with good airflow were nice. The slippers were cute and comfortable. Soaking in the hot spring left my whole body feeling light and all my fatigue gone. The fridge had free drinks, and the shampoo and shower gel were effective and smelled great. Newly opened in 2026, the bed and pillows were very clean and didn't make me itchy. The wooden floor had a very Japanese feel. The Michelin-rated all-vegetarian breakfast was incredibly delicious; you absolutely must try the bamboo shoot congee. It was my first time having two bowls of congee at breakfast! The balcony offered scenic views. We made a last-minute decision for a quick hot spring day trip."

Hotel near Jiaoxi Station Area/Jiaoxi Hot Spring,Yilan
"The location is great, about a 3-5 minute walk to Tangweigou Hot Spring Park. There's a free parking lot about a 3-minute walk from the hotel (though you can't drive out between 10 PM and 8 AM). Right across from the hotel, there's another parking lot available for NT$250, valid until check-out the next day. The hotel also offers bicycles for guests to borrow. The room was a bit small because they dedicated most of the space to a large, clean bathroom. The hot spring soak was very relaxing. Soundproofing was decent. On the second floor, there's a good selection of complimentary drinks and coffee. Given the price, I'd definitely consider staying here again! 👍"

"Huge thanks to the hotel for arranging their biggest room for us! It's practically a two-bedroom, two-bathroom setup, very clean and quiet. Perfect for our family of four. We could park our car right on the first floor. The second floor has a bathroom and a hot spring tub, and on the third floor, there are two large beds and another bathroom, plus two TVs. What I really appreciated was finding four bottles of Pocari Sweat in the fridge – perfect for rehydrating after sweating a lot. Breakfast was also fantastic and plentiful. Very satisfied!"

"The facilities are a bit old, but it's an affordable place to stay. The room I stayed in this time was a bit small, but the bed was big enough for one person. The private onsen in the room was spacious enough to relax in. There's a convenience store and a breakfast shop near the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the station, so taking a bus or taxi is more convenient. You need to wear a swimsuit in the open-air bath on the 5th floor. The front desk staff were very thorough in their explanations and service!"

Enthusiasm, caring, considerate service spirit, so that your travel is no longer an itinerary, but enjoyment. "

"This was my first time taking the train from Hualien to Jiaoxi Station. As soon as I exited the station, I walked straight and then turned right, and there were so many hot spring hotels and inns of all sizes. There were also stir-fry restaurants, izakayas, and even a night market street where I bought 5 different local fruits – they were absolutely delicious. Kavalan Onsen has many branches, and we booked a deluxe quad room. The hot spring tub in the room was also a quad tub, super spacious! Soaking in the hot springs was truly stress-relieving and helped me sleep well at night. The hotel also has a small fish spa pool for your feet, which felt like acupuncture – it was fun! The squid for breakfast was tasty too."

This stay was in the Pine View room, located in the newer annex. The facilities were new and clean, and the hot spring water quality was excellent. The overall lighting and environment were good. Unfortunately, the shower head was broken. The double bed was made of two single beds pushed together, and the mattresses felt quite old, with a noticeable bump where they joined but a dip in the middle, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. The breakfast offered a decent variety of Chinese and Western options. The staff were friendly and had a good attitude. I'd suggest they pay more attention to the quality control of the bamboo shoots served with the congee; they had a strong rancid smell, as if they'd been sitting for a long time.

Excellent daily healthy breakfast with a wide range of varieties for all in the family to enjoy, and using local fresh ingredients making the start of day something to look forward to! Near food eateries and stores for some local souvenir shopping, convenience stores, and walking distance to train station! We also enjoyed the daily evening complimentary snacks and drinks services including their special tea cocktail. Best of all was their impeccable service. We left our shopping behind after we left the hotel for Taipei, and they kindly arranged for courier to send the items over, wrapped the breakable item nicely with bubble wrap. They also helped us plan for a wonderful and memorable birthday with locally sourced cake and flowers. Everything they did was done with care and love, even for something as simple as making up beds, that they also tucked in the kids' soft toys in cutely. The kids now want to go back to Yilan just for the hotel stay! Definitely the best hotel experience we have had as a family!

Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants. One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right. Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

Having a hot tub right in the room for a private onsen experience was absolutely wonderful! It saved us the trouble of going to an outdoor bathhouse, offering both convenience and privacy – I loved it! A big thank you to the hotel's front desk staff too; they clearly explained the check-in process, and everyone was so friendly and polite. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance. Superb! 👍👍

The staff warmly welcomed us, even though we primarily speak Japanese. It was a wonderful stay, allowing us to experience something extraordinary in a comfortable and secure environment. Although there weren't many activities available in Japanese, which meant we couldn't participate, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs and the beautiful scenery. Thank you very much!

The bathtub in the room was large, and the water was clean and warm, making for a very comfortable soak. The room size was adequate. The hotel's breakfast was just average, mostly boiled vegetables and cold dishes. Meat-eaters might not find it satisfying. The room thoughtfully provided two bottles of water, the bed firmness was just right, and the soundproofing was excellent, leading to a great night's sleep.

Except for the location amd pillows, everything was good! Location wise - Quite in to the middle seems like no where. They do provide shuttle service to & fro to the nearest Xin Beitou station 9am - 9pm. Pillows were too flat even though they provided us with a total of 4. Stacked it up but was still flat. Im like literally sleeping on nothing. My partner's neck was crying for help. Pillows can be improved. Room was decently clean. Had a good soak with our private in room hot spring water tub. Toilet and shower room were seperated. Water pressure for shower was ok. Can be stronger. Aircon was ok for all sorts of adjustments. No amenities provided unless you wanna purchase from them through the reception counter (we brought our own) Breakfast was decently good spread surprisingly! Staff were friendly and patient. Overall stay 👍🏻!

The room was huge, the facilities were great, and the staff were friendly. The location was very convenient, within walking distance and very close to the LRT, while the environment was quiet and peaceful. There were also small handicraft activities and a mini theatre available in the basement. I did not have the chance to visit the public hot spring, but the private hot spring included in the room was already more than sufficient. I also loved the AI device for playing music and the smart home control panel for the lights and air-conditioning, which made everything very easy to manage. The room was clean and well maintained, and the overall stay felt very comfortable and relaxing. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay with great facilities and thoughtful in-room features. The view was around 7/10 — not particularly spectacular as I stayed on a lower floor, but still decent as it felt open and unobstructed. I especially loved the hot spring, walk-in wardrobe, and dressing table with the large mirror. It was also very suitable for a solo trip — spacious, peaceful, and easy to enjoy at my own pace. Nonetheless, it is definitely suitable for all types of travellers. (My family actually commented that it was too big for 1 person, but I was more than happy with it.) Suggestion: It would be great to have a smart TV with YouTube or other streaming options, rather than only local channels. Feedback: The smart control system panel also did not seem to sync properly with the AI control, as it did not respond after commands were given.

This hotel, Yamagata Kaku, boasts an excellent location, very close to the train station, making it super convenient whether you're traveling by public transport or driving. Parking was also a breeze. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The on-site hot spring facilities are top-notch; soaking there was incredibly therapeutic and completely washed away my travel fatigue. The yukata provided was soft and comfortable to wear, showing great attention to detail. A nice bonus was being able to take the slippers home, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay and would definitely consider returning to this excellent hotel.
