I had a lovely stay at Rezen Retreat·Four Seasons Manju Hotel near the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The hotel is located just a short drive from the park entrance, making it a convenient place to stay for early visits to Jiuzhaigou. The hotel has a charming design with a cozy, boutique feel. My room was clean, warm, and tastefully decorated, with beautiful mountain views. The bed was comfortable, and the heated floors were a nice touch, especially during the colder months. Staff were polite and helpful, though English was limited. However, they were always friendly and tried their best to assist with anything I needed. Overall, this hotel is a great value choice for travelers visiting Jiuzhaigou who are looking for comfort and local charm in a peaceful setting.

The boss and the housekeeper are very considerate, will prepare cushions for you to pick, and will also help take pictures 📷 haha The sound system in the room is very powerful, playing your favorite songs in the small world, this is a feature. It was also unexpected to send afternoon tea. The black chicken wild mushroom soup pot is highly recommended for dining, the ingredients are fresh and the taste is delicious. What I hope to improve is that the hotel does not have a bed guard, which is not friendly to families with children. In addition, the room type is very exquisite, and Building 1 is not very quiet. It's a very nice hotel with very good service. The food in their restaurant is very good too! One thing though - my husband and I booked the room with the private bath, and it's great, but the screen is very see through. So if you turn on the lights at night, you'll be a public show! We just soaked in the dark...

The location was in a small village outside of Mianzhu or Deyang. It was a beautiful place surrounded by farmland to the front and bamboo-covered mountains to the back. The staff were very helpful with our requests. We mainly communicated through translation app, as they did not speak English. The hot springs were available to us every day. You could easily walk or also ask for a buggy ride up to it. Some of the large hot spring pools were closed, we believe due to it being winter time. But there were still more than 12 hot springs open. If you are a westerner travelling here, don’t expect a cozy residents bar. There is a bar area but not that equipped. We did not try the hotel restaurants. We walked 1km or 2km into the village and had many cheap restaurant options and the locals were very friendly and accommodating with our lack of Chinese. The room had a torch also available, which made it easy to walk along the road when it was dark.

Leshan Chanyi Jiading Courtyard Hotel is ranked first in Leshan luxury hotels and second in local style hotels. It is located in Jiadingfang C area on the right side of the river of Leshan Giant Buddha in Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Because it is in the pedestrian area of ​​the scenic area, you have to park at the nearby Jiading parking lot, walk 100m or the hotel shuttle bus will pick you up. It is pet-friendly. The Banyan Tree Meng Corridor in front of the hotel is very good. 800m to the right is the entrance of Leshan Giant Buddha, 800m to the left is the Leshan Giant Buddha Visitor Center and Leshan Museum Square. There are restaurants and snacks along the corridor to the left, or drive across the Minjiang No. 1 Bridge to the street across the river, about 2km, the hotel also has a restaurant for dining. The hotel has an infinity outdoor swimming pool by the river, and there is a riverside garden and lawn of the hotel. There is a green pedestrian path by the river leading directly to the Minjiang No. 1 Bridge, and the lawn is nice. The hotel has exposed heating and can be lived in in winter. It is a good place.

The first thing to mention is the friendliness of the staff. They were so helpful and responsive all the time. The room was clean, spacious with a nice view. The hot spring, or pool, was a luxury with a great view of the valley. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of local food. On the first evening, we had yak hotpot in the restaurant and it was delicious. The Bipenggou ticket office is about 2.7 km away, which is a nice walk. Overall, we really enjoyed our 3-night stay.
