Top rated hotels in Shanghai

Chongming No. 1 Manor
4.5/590 Reviews
Chongming Island, Changxing Island, Hengsha Island
The room type I booked is not good. The two bedrooms and one living room are in an attic. The living room can’t be any smaller. The breakfast is not good. There are few things, just a little white porridge, some buns, corn and sweet potatoes. The recreational facilities are good, including table tennis and billiards. You can also set off fireworks. The children are the happiest. The disadvantages are that the swimming pool is too small and the water quality is not good. I don’t know how often to change the water. I hope these shortcomings can be improved.

I spent 5 nights at this awesome hotel. I went to relax and unwind from the city. This was the perfect location just for that. The staff provided excellent customer service with suggestions of where to visit and provided me with a free bike so I was able to explore the local area. The grounds of the hotel were equally exceptional. The hotel is immaculate and clean with much greenery and outdoor space to relax during the day. My room was of a very high quality and very comfortable. I was surprised at the price quoted given the quality of the accommodation with a number of discounts added before I had even finished booking. I also got a free room upgrade on arrival. All in all this was an excellent place to stay and I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. I shall definitely stay here again should I be looking for a relaxing long weekend break away from Shanghai.

Shanghai Disney Resort
I really want to give a thumbs up to the housekeeper Xiao Chang. The service is very good, responsive, considerate and humane. We made many requests but he was not impatient. He is a very nice young man. The environment of the hotel is in the forest. The air is very good and the design is very tasteful. Occasionally, there are some small animals and insects visiting the bath and courtyard. I think it adds some small episodes and fun. It is very suitable for families or young people who want to get close to nature. I stayed for two nights and the experience was very good. I rode a bike to the forest and ate rice noodles nearby. They were all healthy and delicious. There is also a special dog-stroking service for dogs, which dog lovers are ecstatic. Overall, it is a very good experience in all aspects!

Qingpu Zhujiajiao/Oriental Land
One of the best resorts in Shanghai. Very suitable for children’s as well as teens. The wave pool is awesome specially in summer June - Aug. The barbecue is good in winter. Very close to city center and the surrounding rural life is also a good experience. We make sure to visit once in a year !
Zen Spring Hot Spring Resort (Shanghai Chuansha Ancient Town)
4.7/5260 Reviews
Shanghai Disney Resort
I came to Shanghai to play temporarily and chose it hastily on the high-speed rail. It is cost-effective. The free car picks up and drops off at Disneyland, which is very convenient. I originally booked one night, but ended up staying for three nights. It is a bit far from the city center, so you can take the subway. I took a ride directly to Wukang Building, which is about 50 yuan. The taxi is about 100 yuan. The room is very large. The Japanese style furniture is log style. The whole hotel is clean and warm. The whole hotel is not big, but the scenery is very beautiful and the owner has good taste. There are national costumes, you can change clothes and take pictures. I like the greenery here. There are refreshments when you check in and souvenirs when you check out. The breakfast is Chinese and standard. There is a small hot spring, which is open from 10 am to 10 pm. It is very comfortable to soak in the hot spring when you are tired from the journey. You need to bring your own swimsuit or takeout. Remember to bring a bath towel and dry it in time to avoid colds caused by the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, and do not affect the itinerary (don’t ask me how I know). Overall, it is still recommended. If you don’t like the same hotels, you can come and experience it. Zen Spring Hot Spring Resort Hotel
Shanghai Jingle Tang Hotel (international Tourism Resort)

Shanghai Disney Resort
The location of this hotel is good because it is near to the airport (PVG) about 20mins and the room is so big. Although the spring is the famous facility, it is only service afternoon which means customers should not expect to enjoy the spring at anytime. There is not many mall and tourist spots near to the hotel and it just like countryside of Shanghai which is quiet and far from city. The service officer is nice but some facilities is not enough like charger of cellphone.

Changfeng Park Area
It is rare to find a hotel with private hot springs in the city. The location is quiet in the city and the price is relatively affordable. It is very pleasant to take a warm hot spring bath on a rainy day. Maybe it was because of the rainy day, the front desk helped to upgrade the room type. The room is very spacious. It is very comfortable to take a bath while looking at the courtyard view outside the floor-to-ceiling window. The hotel also provides many small projects for guests to play, such as DIY wind chimes, DIY bracelets, meditation copying, bamboo lanterns, etc. All projects can be played in one area of the lobby. But fortunately, there are not many people today, otherwise if many people squeeze here to play, they may affect each other, which is a little short of the ointment. . There are many kimonos in another area of the lobby, which match the Japanese courtyard. If the weather is good, change into a set and go to the courtyard to take some photos. I think it is also a good experience. There is a Japanese food restaurant next to the hotel. Guests who stay in the hotel can enjoy a 15% discount for dining in. If you don’t want to go out at night, eating a bite of Japanese food in it is also a choice.
