Amazing service and stay! Manager contacted me beforehand and asked about the time of my arrival, offered pickup from the railway and a taxi to/from the scenic area! And gave a small parting gift later on :3 hot springs on the roof in a cold October night felt 10/10 Really nice hotel, I did not regret one bit staying here. Huge bonus is a very cool UNESCO geological museum just across the river, I highly recommend paying a visit as well. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The room was very satisfying, and the hot spring's quality and management were excellent. They even provided a dedicated shuttle service to the scenic area and high-speed rail station! **Facilities:** The exterior looked a bit old, but the interior was very well-maintained. Notably, the rooms were equipped with Kohler bathroom fixtures. The mattress was very comfortable, and the TV had good color. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent, including the hot spring area, which was meticulously cleaned. **Environment:** The environment is beyond words. I heard that the owner leased the entire mountain and built this hot spring resort hotel nestled against it. **Service:** The service was very satisfying. I called for room service twice, and they responded quickly each time. The food delivery vehicle was also a comfortable business-class shuttle.

This homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

You can tell this is an established, luxury hotel with a good foundation. The decor and service are both excellent, and the hot springs are fantastic. The only minor drawback was the taste of the food at the Chinese restaurant downstairs. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very effective at cooling, but overall it was good. I would definitely come back again.

Our stay was beyond beautiful! I stayed here with my partner and we are still dreaming about it. The views are absolutely incredible, but the design of the room is what really impressed us. It was incredible, it was clean, perfect mix between modern and a match with the landscape. It’s very private with no one having a view to the room — we were in the upper floor. Great location, only a few min drive to the South Gate to start a full day in Zhangjiajie. I want to add a special thank you to the host for his kindness and attentive instructions on how to visit the park depending on our preferences. He gave us a map and explained everything we could see and what route to follow with realistic time estimations, and on top of that, he drove us to the entrance of the park. I cannot recommend this more. It was incredible and I will be recommending it to everyone and anyone who wishes to come, whether for a quiet getaway or a breathtaking stay near the tourist destination.

The owner's service was excellent! They called in advance to ask for our arrival time and even turned on the air conditioning for us. When we arrived, they met us at the main gate. I really loved the overall design of the B&B; it was very tasteful and refined. The room was free of insects and had great soundproofing. It was also very smart, with voice controls for the lights, curtains, and projector. My favorite part was definitely the private hot spring tub – the lighting was perfect for photos without being too harsh. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Tucked away on the hillside of Baofeng Mountain, this guesthouse truly lives up to its name as a secluded mountain retreat, occupying its own valley, completely free from the hustle and bustle of traffic and crowds. The overall design is rustic and natural, with the architecture seamlessly blending into the mountain landscape, devoid of any overly commercialized, deliberate embellishments. The owner, a designer who returned from Shanghai, runs the guesthouse with a relaxed and laid-back aesthetic, not driven by a commercial mindset. Every corner reveals subtle artistic touches, and the entire place exudes a strong personal warmth. I had a long, in-depth conversation with the owner late into the night about spatial design and the philosophy behind creating a mountain retreat. It offered profound insights that went far beyond a typical accommodation experience. The guest rooms boast large open-air viewing balconies that open up to an endless expanse of the Wuling Mountains, offering direct, breathtaking panoramic views of Tianzi Mountain. The room was quiet and healing, and the tranquil mountain atmosphere allowed me to completely shed the tension of city life. It truly is a rare therapeutic space where one can find emotional solace. The meals are authentic Tujia local flavors. I highly recommend the bamboo shoot stew with cured pork. The cured pork was generous in portion and quality, with a pure and genuine smoky flavor. All ingredients tasted as if they were fresh from the mountains. The owner even gifted us a few extra local home-style dishes, which perfectly suited our taste – simple yet thoughtfully prepared. At 6:30 AM, I set off from the guesthouse to hike up to the Baofeng Mountain temple. The empty mountain was serene, allowing me to slowly experience inner cultivation and a state of mind free from external pursuits. The spiritual gains from this mountain retreat far surpassed the beauty of the scenery itself. In Zhangjiajie, where formulaic, 'influencer-style' guesthouses are ubiquitous, Dayong Secluded Haven is one of the very few that stays true to its essence, offering a top-tier experience with both aesthetic appeal and genuine warmth. It's not just a place to stay; it's more like a spiritual sanctuary nestled in the mountains, a refuge from worldly noise that truly allows you to quiet your mind and converse with yourself. This trip was truly unforgettable, and I will definitely return.

Big thumbs up to this hotel! The environment is lovely. The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and provided excellent service, even upgrading our room. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing – even the kids want to go back! My daughter accidentally dropped her dinosaur toy during breakfast, and when we inquired at noon, it turns out the breakfast reception had kept it safe for us. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness really impressed us.

The next day, it rained, and we decided not to go up the mountain. I thought their cancellation policy would be as flexible as ** (some other place/platform), but I didn't realize we had to cancel before 7:40 AM. However, the landlady went above and beyond to successfully help us get a refund, which was wonderful. The restaurant food is genuinely delicious, especially the fish and wild mushrooms. The soups were just okay, but the chicken dish in another section looked promising, something to try next time. The food is a major draw that would make me want to come back, and I hope they maintain the quality. The private hot tub in the room is too big; it took an hour for the faucet to fill it even halfway, and it's quite high, making it a bit unsafe to step into. Adding a step stool beside it would be much better. Also, it would be great if they offered more twin-bedded rooms instead of mostly king-sized beds, which is a minor drawback.
