"My recent stay at this five-star hotel far exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were very efficient with check-in and check-out, and they were all incredibly warm and helpful, promptly addressing any requests. The room was spacious and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food. Overall, it's great value for money and perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure vacations. Highly recommended!"

"True to its reputation as a conference hotel, the property is grand and impressive. The room amenities are thoughtfully designed, and the staff training is exceptional. Special mention goes to Julia Xu, our concierge, who contacted me days in advance. She was incredibly attentive and thorough in understanding our needs, and her responses were remarkably prompt – it felt like she always had her phone in hand! Polite and patient, she made the first stop of our Hainan trip a delightful experience. It’s a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff; I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"Breakfast was good, though the variety wasn't extensive. The staff's attitude was absolutely fantastic!!! Every staff member we encountered on the way was incredibly nice, super enthusiastic, and very considerate. The pool and hot spring bath were also great, and the room was clean. Since it's in a rainforest, there might be a slight damp smell upon check-in, but it goes away quickly if you air out the room. The room also came equipped with mosquito repellent spray, a mosquito lamp, and medicated oil. The scenery is beautiful!! There's a shuttle bus service within the resort for transfers; just ask a staff member to call one, it's very convenient. I want to reiterate! I truly loved the service attitude! I'll definitely come back next time!!!"

"The room is quite spacious, and the balcony even has a dedicated drying rack, making it very suitable for families with children, both young and old. The swimming pool and hot springs are great, and there's also a small playground for kids. The hotel's dining options are decent, and the overall environment and hygiene are good. They even thoughtfully delivered sweet soup in the evening."

"We booked the family room for our kids. The room was absolutely fantastic! We left a note saying our son loves whales and boats, and the hotel specially arranged a blue ocean-themed room for us. Our child played in the room for a whole afternoon and evening, having an absolute blast. He kept playing hide-and-seek with grandpa in the airplane and boat structures. This room type is perfect for boys aged 4 and above, as it requires a bit more physical control. There were also educational toys in the room, keeping our child happily occupied for a long time. The hotel offers rice noodles and regular noodles for supper, and the breakfast spread was incredibly rich. After all that playing, a bowl of rice noodles for supper and a hearty breakfast in the morning were just what he needed. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. Kids' slippers and toothbrushes were all provided. I had just driven for 7 days to Hainan and was exhausted, really not wanting to go out and entertain the kids. This room was truly wonderful, allowing the adults to rest while keeping the child happy. If we had more time, I would have loved to stay another day. For the kids' well-being, the room also had activated carbon and an air purifier, showing great consideration for little ones' health. Our child didn't even ask for TV or a phone in this room. My only minor issue is that getting to the room from the elevator involves an uphill and a downhill slope, which can be a bit challenging with heavy luggage."

"I stayed at the Marriott during my recent business trip to Haikou, and overall, the experience was fantastic. A special thank you to my butler, Jarvia, who was so warm, gentle, and attentive. When I asked her for local food recommendations during my free time, she gave me a thorough and detailed guide. Because of my schedule, I arrived at the hotel quite early, but Jarvia proactively coordinated and arranged my room in advance. The room had an amazing view with stunning ocean scenery. The thoughtful and attentive service really eased the fatigue of my business trip, and the communication throughout was smooth and hassle-free. Whenever I visit Haikou for business again, this will definitely be my top choice."

"Highly recommend the Sheraton Haikou! I must give a huge shoutout to our dedicated butler, CoCo 🥰. CoCo contacted us in advance, which completely elevated our check-in experience right from the start! She thoughtfully prepared a departure gift, and even had a special present ready for our little baby—that detail was just so heartwarming and definitely deserves special praise 👍. The family-friendly activities at the hotel were a lot of fun, making it super suitable for traveling with kids, and the activity coordinators were all very gentle and patient. The dinner had distinct local characteristics and tasted great. A small suggestion is that there's still room for improvement with the breakfast; it would be even more perfect if the breakfast options were more diverse! Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Families traveling with kids can book with confidence, and we'll definitely come back again given the chance 🌴."

"I'd wanted to visit this guesthouse since it opened last year, but never had the chance. This trip finally brought me here. Having experienced all the hotels in Qixianling over the years, I can confidently say that this guesthouse, despite having only seven rooms, clearly reflects the owner's dedication. It's absolutely fantastic! 👍 Let me start with the environment: the room boasts a 270-degree mountain view – and I mean a full 270 degrees! I wouldn't accept less than that. Lying in bed, you can directly gaze at the misty Qixianling. And the lush greenery, washed clean by the rain, is so soothing. The room's furnishings have a distinct local ethnic style. The bedding is very comfortable; if possible, latex pillows would be even better. Because it's a new hotel, the curtains and sheer curtains are exceptionally clean – another thumbs up! 👍 I don't know the brand of the bathroom toiletries, but they're clearly from a reputable brand, showing that they've invested in quality and attention to detail. The coasters on the vanity, the toiletries box, and even the trash can in the room were all made of walnut wood (I'm not sure if it's real walnut, but the color is walnut [laughing]). The hairdryer was a Dyson. The room's private hot spring bath was very clean and huge. Qixianling is a hot spring area, so this should be a genuine hot spring. Although I haven't stayed at Aman Resorts, I've seen it online, and I feel the environment here is comparable to Aman (hahahaha). I personally really like it. Regarding the service: From the moment we arrived at the parking lot, staff greeted us. During check-in, the receptionist was smiling and gentle throughout, and you could tell she was trained to high-end hotel standards. They upgraded us to the best room type in the guesthouse—room 303, with a 270-degree view. To my utter surprise, when we were getting ready to soak in the hot springs that evening, the staff brought us two huge tubs of traditional Chinese medicine bath water (literally two huge tubs, so thoughtful!). Breakfast this morning was delivered to our room; the selection wasn't extensive, but it was very refined, with soup, noodles, eggs, and fruit (actually, it was enough; we were quite full. Too much fancy food wouldn't have appealed to us). At lunchtime, when we checked out, a young man named Chen at the front desk ground coffee for us and even escorted us to the parking lot. It was truly a wonderful surprise. My eldest child has said ”This is so beautiful!” at least 30 times in the 24 hours since we arrived. Okay, that's all for now. See you next time!"

"The hotel parking is free, and I was so satisfied with my stay here with my family this time. The overall environment is very quiet, and the public areas are spotlessly clean, which is a pleasure to see. The room hygiene is meticulous, the bedding is soft, and there's no odor in the bathroom. Housekeeping cleans on time every day, so you feel very reassured. It's perfect for bringing kids; the children's playground has slides and trampolines, keeping them entertained for half a day and giving parents a break. Both the indoor and outdoor pools and the hot springs are clean, making it convenient for swimming and soaking. The staff are all very friendly, respond quickly to any issues, and the service is very attentive. The location is also good, convenient for dining and getting around. Among hotels in the same price range, it offers excellent value for money with complete facilities and good service. It's especially suitable for families with children, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we travel!!!"

"We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them."
