"Is a very nice, clean, basic hostel. Location is outside downtown Detroit so can be expensive to travel by car but Uber and Lyft are both readily available. Has wonderful restaurants in the immediate area and a very diverse community of very nice people. I really enjoyed waking up to the call to prayer from the local mosque. Managers were friendly and accommodating. Could use a fan in the room but not a huge deal. Bathroom, kitchen and common area was kept exceptionally clean. Had a nice courtyard with a fire pit for evening gatherings. Was quiet for sleep at night. I felt safe and secure as a female solo traveler. "

All in all for the price, it’s a nice hotel. Our room was clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for what we planned to do in the area. The bed was firm but comfortable, the pillows were good. Air conditioning worked. TV had a decent amount of channels. The shower wasn’t like home, but it did the job lol. Good water pressure…I would stay here again if we go back to the area. We didn’t eat the breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

While this place is technically a bed & breakfast, it was certainly appreciated that we were not forced to do bed-and-breakfast activities. In fact, we were not even asked to; the experience was more like staying in a hotel. The spa area was surprisingly charming, and the entire establishment was clean. It was a little bit difficult to navigate how to get in, which is just through the café doors in the front, and the only thing I would suggest, is to add mini fridges to the rooms.
