Of all the accommodations I've stayed in in the US, this one was the cleanest, had large common areas, and the breakfast was very good. And the staff was very, very friendly.
Beds, restroom and kitchen are all clean, I even see the staff cleaned for the day I stayed(only one night)
People also friendly and very energetic
Plan come again if back NOLA

GGuest UserThis place is very hollow and loud. It's very close quarters and no sound proofing. You can hear everyone's TV in the hall amd your room, people screaming on the phone, doors slamming, people getting ice on another floor, people outside on the nice patio, water took forever in sink to go down, black blanket they give you was so nasty, looked like snot or semen smeared on it. Hair was everywhere. I say this with the understanding that hair is harder to get up. It was In our bed, everywhere in shower. I know you can't say no children but this is not a place for small kids to run around and talk in hallways bc everything can be hear so clearly. No proofing or weather*****ping under doors so there is a huge gap. Of maybe 1.5 inches under the doors that doesn't help the sound. Cute place, in a sketchy up and coming neighborhood. They have street parking only which was plentiful and said there was security roving through neighborhood. Never saw them but our cars were fine. Good idea for a small neighborhood hostel/hotel. Decor was simple and so cute throughout and it comes with a MW and fridge. The attached coffee and bar was nice.
MMadi SThis motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service.
HHillaryA wonderful plantation house to visit (privately owned and filled with stories) and a great inn to stay in as well. A tip - make sure to make dinner reservations when you book as there are two restaurants on site and they get booked up. One is fine dining in the old French part of the house and the other is in a beautiful room called the Carriage House.
GGuest UserFantastic Hotel in perfect location, there is an abundance of great restaurants and shopping in the area It has a lovely pool area and parking which is extremely rare. Brad who has worked at the hotel for 43 years was wonderful to deal with, very informative and friendly. We would highly recommend and will return.

Nothing fancy just needed a getaway. .. hotel was so much better than I was expecting! The reviews make it seem like the worst around .. not the case here! nice lady in the lobby for check in, which doesnt't have a Cut off time!
GGuest UserAll in all the hotel was good for the value of the money. There is a Hotel 6 behind this hotel, and there were people hanging out at all hours of the night, which kind of made me nervous to go out to my car. Other than that, the stay was good.
GGuest UserVery friendly staff, someone there 24/7, great location close to the main streets of the French Quarter but at the same time just far enough away to be quiet at night. Loved my stay here!
