Bella Vista Motel Te Anau

The staff at Reception were really enthusiastic. My grandma recommended a restaurant to me when I checked in. She also showed me a map of where to go and where to buy supermarkets. She also gave us a bottle of milk in each room. The guy who checked out the next day heard that we were going to Invercargill and specifically recommended that we take another route along the coast, saying the scenery was better.

It was said that my boyfriend had missing a camera tripod and the hotel staff was kind and quick to help me deliver it to my final accommodation. Very grateful🫶🏻
Lakefront Lodge

Compared with other cities in New Zealand, the price/performance ratio is not high. It feels that the hotels in Te Anau are a bit expensive, but the overall room is still satisfactory, and the cheaper is better.
Tower Lodge Motel

Facilities: All necessary, you can also cook in the room, there are ovens, microwaves, electric heating stoves, etc. Hygiene: clean and tidy Environment: The overall property is very spacious. There is a small hall plus a room and a bathroom. There is a parking space at the door of the room. Service: Very enthusiastic, will proactively ask about your next travel plan, and give you some suggestions and city maps to help you better experience the surrounding scenery.
Manapouri Lakeview Motor Inn

The room is not big, the location is excellent, facing the lake view, the snow-capped mountains against the Manapuri Lake is like a fairyland. Stayed for four days, reluctant to leave. The pier to Doubtful Sound is nearby, and walking along the lake is the ultimate enjoyment. Wan Lai was all quiet, except for the sound of the lake beating against the shore. Personally, I think this place is better than Queenstown because there are few people and the commercial atmosphere is not so obvious. Driving to Lake Te Anau is only over 20 kilometers.
Asure Explorer Motel & Apartments

The landlord is very welcoming. He contacted us in advance to help us choose a room. Because we have children with us, the landlord enthusiastically recommended that we live on the second floor. The view is good, the tableware is complete, there is a bathtub, and it is close to attractions and supermarkets. Recommended
Radfords on the Lake
4.7/568 Reviews
This is a great motel, with a great location, right by the lake, and only a 5-minute walk to the tourist center. The front desk service was very good, and they enthusiastically recommended restaurants and entertainment in the town. The room and the living room are not very big, but the layout is reasonable, very clean, and all kinds of facilities are available. There are two small suggestions. One is that there is only one trash can, and you can put one in the living room; the other is that the bedding and mattresses can be reduced appropriately. There were too many extra bedding and mattresses on the first night.
The Village Inn Hotel Te Anau
4/590 Reviews
I stayed here to go to Milford Sound. The check-in staff and process were smooth and there was no inconvenience. However, there were many dirty places inside the accommodation, and some of the facilities were broken, but I didn't pay much attention to it because I didn't stay for a long time. There was a lot of musty smell. You could park right in front of the door, so it was convenient to load and unload luggage. There is a large mart right next to the accommodation, so it is convenient for grocery shopping, and there is a gas station right in front.
Marakura Deluxe Motel
4.6/5109 Reviews
Although it is by the lake, the location is a bit inconvenient, close to the main road, and a bit noisy at night. The room is generally clean, and the bed is relatively small, about 0.9 meters. There is basically no service, which is normal for a motel.
Alpenhorn Motel

There is a kitchen, you can cook, parking is at the door of the room, as a motel is still a very good choice. Full self-service check in, check out
