"Had a wonderful time at this hostel! It’s quite social and the people working there are kind and fun to hang out with :) The kitchen facilities and common space are great. I loved the close proximity to Lawson, a supermarket and also the lake! I didn’t have time to rent a bike, but I like that they have bikes for rent. I also did laundry while I was there and that was very easy and the dryer was effective unlike some machines I’ve used elsewhere in Japan. The hostel is about a 20-min walk from Kawaguchiko station. There are bus stops nearby but the buses stop running quite early in the evening. I stayed in a 9-bed dorm on the second floor and one thing that’s lacking is curtains for each bed. I think that would really help everyone’s sleep quality since the room curtains often aren’t closed at night (by other guests) and it would give everyone more privacy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area!"

"The house is about 50 years old. Facilities: Perfect, taken care of by the owner 🉐️ in an orderly manner, it is rare. Hygiene: Hygiene is also good, standard Japanese style. Environment: About 2 kilometers away from the station, the boss took the initiative to send me to the station. Service: The boss is a cute and enthusiastic little old man, who looks like Miyazaki."

"Amazing beautiful hostel with Mount Fuji view rooms. Affordable. We stayed at a double room and it felt very comfortable and spacious! Especially loved the begging and the light in the room. Convenient kitchen amenities, all is thoroughly cleaned and maintained! Very nice staff, really helpful and polite. Great coffee at their caffe (not so much the food though). Although most of the rooms were occupied at the time of our stay,It didn’t feel crowded or busy, more like peaceful and enjoyable! Great location, close to the station but kind of secluded . All in all, very pleasant experience staying at a hostel!"

"Great place overall. As mentioned by other reviews, the place is well taken care of and clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The only con is that it is located ~20min away from kawaguchiko station and the road leading to it is narrow and not suitable for big luggage. Please take a cab if it is possible, I highly recommend it. One side story, I used the wrong key for the bicycle rental and end up having my bike locked far far away at Kawaguchi Asama Shrine. In the end I had to travel back to hostel and swap out keys but the staff was very understanding and even discounted the bike rental fee for me. It was an overall outstanding experience. Fun thing is when I was explaining the situation to the staff, it was like a scene in Detective Conan. In the end, I want to say that I would love to come again next time, maybe during a different season. Memory that I won't forget. Thank you to the people working there! Looking forward for my next trip!"

"It's near Mt Fuji station to access train & intercity bus, within walk range. I book twin room with mountain view, all good, very clean, tidy, comfortable, & quiet (very good to catch deep sleep after your busy day traveling). Bathroom, washtafel, kitchen are shared in very good condition & comes in complete amenities & tools! They provide free coffee, tea, homemade bread, block ice, & all seasoning for cooking. Very nice! *I forgot to capture bed & bathroom in empty condition, lol"
