"Everything was good about this hotel. They serve fresh homemade bread every day — and it's free! The amenities were great, including a stove so we could cook. The only thing I think could be improved is the host’s friendliness. I only got to speak with him during check-in. Every day when we bumped into him, he seemed to avoid speaking with me. It would have been a perfect score if the host had been more friendly and made us feel welcome at the guesthouse."

"My stay at K’s House was pleasant overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful—they even took the time to give me tips and guidance on bus routes around Lake Yamanakako, which I really appreciated. The bunk beds were comfortable and well-designed, with convenient plug points provided, making it easy to charge devices. The facilities, including the toilets, were clean and well maintained. The only downside is the location—it’s about a 20-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, which can feel a bit far, especially with luggage. Additionally, there is only one bathroom per floor, which might be slightly inconvenient during busy times. That said, I still had a good experience here and would recommend it for a comfortable stay with helpful staff."

"Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good."

"I stayed in this hostel for 4 days and 3 nights in Kawaguchiko. The staff are very friendly and the cleanliness is very good. The guests are also very high quality and will take the initiative to keep the facilities clean after use The room has two layers of beds. The sheets, mattresses and pillows are all very clean. And no weird taste There is a socket + USB socket + small cabinet at the bedside (you need to bring your own lock) The kitchen has a microwave, a small oven and a refrigerator No need to worry about cooking In addition, the staff will clean and sort out expired food every day The view from the rooftop is beautiful But the stairs going up are a bit slanted So be careful There are chairs and rocking beds on it, very artistic There are bicycles for rent. The price is cheap and the bikes are not new. It was a little difficult to adjust the chair, but the staff were very helpful and handled it quickly. Reasonable charges The rent is not calculated as a full hour if it is a partial hour. There are also convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. But the nearest one is about 10 minutes walk A bit far from Kawaguchiko Station, 25 minutes away But it is an acceptable distance to push luggage, but it would be more convenient to have a car Overall, the experience is good Recommended for single/group accommodation"

"Approximately 11 min walk from the station which isn’t too bad. However, it might be quite a walk if you have 2 big luggages. Booked a private room on the 2nd floor and thankfully the staff (male) helped us carry our bags up the stairs. The shower was well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and lots of hot water and good pressure. Walls are rather thin so you can hear people walking up and down the stairs or even opening their bags. Hotel view was amazing from the room"

"The house is about 50 years old. Facilities: Perfect, taken care of by the owner 🉐️ in an orderly manner, it is rare. Hygiene: Hygiene is also good, standard Japanese style. Environment: About 2 kilometers away from the station, the boss took the initiative to send me to the station. Service: The boss is a cute and enthusiastic little old man, who looks like Miyazaki."

This is probably the best capsule hotel I've ever stayed in. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making every guest feel truly at home. The night shift staff also seemed very capable and strong, ready to handle any issues, and their English was excellent. I felt very safe staying here. The hotel cleans from 10 AM to 3 PM every day, even for consecutive stays. When I returned to my capsule, the bedding was always fresh, clean, and fluffy. Both hygiene and safety were top-notch. I'm incredibly satisfied and will definitely return if I get the chance.

The owner was excellent! While the hotel's location was a bit remote, the overall experience was fantastic. We contacted the owner, and they even arranged pick-up and drop-off for us. A truly wonderful stay, highly recommended!

The hotel is tastefully decorated - very comfortable, from the window of the room a stunning view on Fuji. Next to the bus stop there are places where you can eat even after 9:00, which is surprising for such a area! From the downsides - the road to the hotel is laid out of grave, the day before we on the same stone road broke the suitcase, to look for a new in such a area very expensive and uncomfortable, so here it was necessary to carry it in hands, it is very tired, In the house itself there are also many porosh and steps, so travelers with big and heavy bags will be extremely uncomfortable in this hotel, the second time would not stop, only if to go on the light.
