Hostels in Osaka Prefecture, Japan

my flight from seoul to osaka was delayed by 2.5 hours, and public transport wouldn’t have brought me to my share house in the middle of the night, so i opted for the first cabin which was located directly at the airport. i’ve never been to japan before, so finding it was a BIT difficult, but i managed just fine. the staff was super nice, very friendly and welcoming. i was directly brought to my room, given free toiletries, wifi access, and a charger for my electronics. the cleanliness of the cabins (especially the bathroom!) was amazing. it was my first time in a japanese bathroom and it completely exceeded my expectations. the shower was probably the best shower of my life — super soft, clean, and just amazing — and the products provided smelled really good. it was super quiet for the whole time, which was very appreciated. the staff also spoke english so i could ask for anything anytime. the few things i’d criticise personally: - the cabin wasn’t really private. it had a curtain that you could roll down, but not all the way. the cabins are placed directly next to each other, so there was no option to speak to someone on the phone while in bed. the bed took up the whole cabin, so you couldn’t fit in your luggage, but there was a separate space for that. i think it still was very nice, because there was a lounge area where you could get food or drinks and call your relatives. the cabin area was strictly quiet. - on trip.com i paid about $59(?), and on the site directly it’d have cost me about $70. for a single night with just a bed and half privacy… i think both offers are a bit pricey for one night but it was fine. overall 8/10

Good value for the money, excellent spa! The only annoying thing is, if you are staying for more than 1 day, you have to check out every day at 10 and check back at 15. So for 1 day it's perfect!

The entire stay was well taken care of, and the last night there were a few problems, the frontes tried to help to the best of his ability. As for the room, everything is according to the picture for advertising. I was very impressed with the accommodation. Excellent hostel in a very convenient location, everything is clean, tidy and warm in winter. The noise from the trains is strong, but it did not bother me at all + you can take earplugs in the lobby. The rooms have lockers, a suitcase + backpack fit. Access to the hostel is 24 hours, you can leave your luggage before / after your stay in the lobby and walk around the city a little more

the staff were very friendly and informative and my room was clean. Room came with a hairdryer, 2 towels, private bathroom/shower and a refrigerator. This is the best &Hostel I have stayed at in Japan. If I’m ever back in the area I will be staying here again! 8min walk to the train station, 30min to Dotonbori, multiple convenience stores within 5 min or less walk. The ONLY complaint for me is my room was quite cramped with my luggage & other things. Maybe a storage shelf or something would help.

It is a big hostel, nice and clean. All staffs are nice, friendly, and responsible. Anna, Yuda, Yui, Nara, are wonderful staffs. I had a wonderful experience in Cogo tennoji hostel and Osaka. Thank you so much Peace

Honestly a really cute place and hotel staff knew english so dont be afraid. Only issue was that towels, toothbrush and toothpaste were all rental but other then that, ive got nothing to ask for more! Also it's like what, 5 minutes walk from the nearest train station, and like every konbini outlet nearby too.

Perfect spot right beside the dotombori area and Namsa metro. The individual capsules are spacious and comfortable. There are free amenities, sleepware and towels. The onsen was nothing spectacular, but was perfect after a day out. Would stay again.

Had a last minute change of plans and thus capsule hotel fit my budget. Paid a little more than hostel pricing but this was short walk to Shin-Osaka station. Remove your shoes upon checkin and they are kept in a lockbox by front desk while in the building. Pajamas, towel and toothbrush are all included. For me the extra price was well worth it for the nice common bath area on the first floor. Keep in mind this is for men only at present. Lots of budget dining options situated just outside the entry as well.

Amazing place. In the male dorm, there were 20 capsules. Everyone was very respectful and discreet. It was quiet the whole time. In front of each bed, there is a space for luggage and a safe for valuable. There is one bathroom with 3 sinks and 2 showers. Very spacious and clean. It has amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads, hair band and cotton buds. Towels and bath mats are changed everyday and sleepers will be given as we must take-off shoes by the entrance. Location is near bus stop 8 and osaka metro. Great to visit the whole city.

It was a great experience to stay in the Tatami Single Room at Kaga Hotel💙! The room design is traditional and comfortable, the texture of the tatami is relaxing, and the air is filled with a touch of Japanese style🌸. The hotel environment is quiet, suitable for resting or meditating alone, and the waiters are friendly and considerate, providing a very warm reception. The room is well-equipped and the cleanliness is also very satisfactory🌿. Whether it is a business trip or a personal trip, Kaga Hotel is a great choice!

It was very spacious and comfortable. I had a hard time connecting to the Wi-Fi. I wish there had been cotton swabs in the amenities at the very least, but there were no problems with the room itself so it was fine!
