The location is good because there are many places to eat and drink, it is also close to the Bus terminal in case you are planing to take a night bus to another city. Department Stores and PKM center also around the area. The Capsules are wide and clean, you have TV, headphones, light, etc. You also get pajamas, which are soft and big. They give you a locker witha key, you can sotre your shoes, bag, etc you need for the day, and also you have a room to store your big bags. The brathroom were clean, and also they have separate room with mirrors next to the locker rooms for you to shave, do makeup, etc you need. The sauna and showers are located in the 1st floor, you get a big and a small towel. Inside you can find shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, etc. Finally, check out is really easy and they let you keep your bags in the sotrage room after check out, but i would recomend to ask for how long they can keep them. I defenitively recommend this place for short or long stay.

Great place to come if your on a budget and only staying a few nights! Very clean and staff and super helpful :)

It’s too hot in the dormitory with too thick blankets at the same time. Otherwise the view from the common space is great and there’s a balcony for smoking on the other side of the apartment. In the end I worked in the stairway…also they place the ppl close to each other even if there’s a lot o space to keep them at distance. So half of the dorm was empty but still I had a snoring guy sleeping right underneath my bed…this can be improved.

Run up a slope about 6 km along Route 1 from Odawara city, pass Hakone Yumoto station and it is on the upper right hand side. Evening is long past and I am usually alone, so it is an indescribable feeling of happiness to be warmed by the free-flowing hot water from the open-air bath while lying on the cold rock face of the open-air bath. Even so, it may be because I am a Showa person. The facility is withering, but the cleaning is perfect, which is the best for me. If you feel hesitant, I think you should just go to Yuryo, which has the same entrance. The price has recently increased by 100 yen to 900 yen, but it is a highly recommended hot spring for some people.

4 of us stayed for 3 nights during the typhoon. The first night we were in the annex around the corner, rooms very basic but excellent bedding and comfortable beds and a shower for 6 minutes. We then moved into the main hostel which was similar. Plenty roof terrace space so didn’t need to sit in rooms all the time. Host was friendly and place was constantly being cleaned. Not the best of areas to walk around in but hostel was fine

Had a wonderful stay at Hare-Tabi! I don’t speak Japanese but the staffs were so helpful using body language + translator to make everything happen! Unlike other capsule hotels where you only have a bed size area to yourself, Hare-Tabi allows you with a bit storage/ leg room next to the bed! Not to mention about their free sauna service included in your package ! It provides the best relaxation before/after a day of exploration around Yokohama China town. You will find some quiet time to yourself using their services here. I’m sure you will enjoy the stay or even purely just the sauna service here!

Real hot springs, as they are. Another hospitality provided by the owner, who has lived in the area for many years. Soak in a good quality hot spring and sleep well. A stay that makes you think it's the best. This is a place that can teach you the depth of the meaning of hospitality. It may not be as polished or extravagant as other hotels, but it carries the heart of the owner who was raised in this land, along with a real hot spring. We stayed 4 days with our 2 children of 2 and 4 years in a Japanese-style room with views on the valley, very comfortable, light, with innocent cleanness. We have appreciated the welcome of our guests, very warm, speaking very well English and interested in providing us with good advice and plans to make the stay as well as possible. I strongly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. The rooms were very comfortable and had a beautiful view of the garden. As there aren’t many places to eat within a short walk it was wonderful to have the hotel’s restaurant and bar. It is very well priced and very convenient. Their free shuttle bus to Gora station each morning is very convenient to head up to see the views of Mt Fuji. The staff were always willing to help! The short walk from the bus stop to the hotel isn’t bad at all.
