Went on a lil solo trip for the weekend and this was such a good location, there’s all kinda of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, the duomo is super close, and central station is like 15 mins away. Besides the great location, the staff was also very nice (and they gave me a free tote bag even though I wanted to pay for it, it has their logo on it so it’ll be a cute memory)!!!!! And the room was very clean, just slightly cold in the winter like everywhere else, so just remember to pack well. Each hostel has their own bathroom, which is nice. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, and electric towel rack to heat up and dry your towels. Very nice. Bathroom also comes with soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash. The hostel also hosts parties and stuff, so it’s an easy way to meet new people. But the hostel also seems to attract nice and friendly guests, because I met some great people literally within 5 minutes of entering my room. :) I’ll definitely book again, but maybe at one of their other locations in Rome or Florence. We booked here last minute as there was an issue with the other hostel we booked. We were in a mixed 4-bed dorm. The room was pretty clean and not too cramped and it had a bathroom attached as well. Sleep quality wasn't great as it was quite loud from outside and it got cold with the AC on all night and only a sheet to cover you, but that could just be me. Every bed had a box to put your stuff in that could be locked and unlocked with the fob attached to the room key which was very handy. There was an outdoor space with tables and chairs so you could sit or eat. The staff were nice and friendly as well. The hostel also had Wifi which seemed very reliable for what we needed it for. The location was perfect; a Lidl round the corner, a few minutes walk to the metro station and then a couple of stops on the metro and you're at the central station.

Stayed in a private room with my partner. The room was clean, no bugs and AC. We stayed for three days and we’re satisfied with our stay. A cleaning lady entered our room without knocking once and we did hear travellers in the reception complaining about not being able to sleep because there was no AC. Despite this, definitely recommend for people looking to book private rooms.

The hostel was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and helped us with any questions and gave us recommendations of where to visit. Having a 24 hr reception was extremely useful as there was always someone to chat too if we needed help. Not being able to take our keys out of the hostel gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t lose them, so it was nice to simply hand them in to reception and get them back when we returned from our outings. While at the hostel we decided to go to Lugano, Switzerland on the train and we didn’t return to our hostel for over 24 hours, when we arrived back we asked for our keys and all was well with our room etc… If I return to Milan and want an affordable accomodation I would definitely rebook this as it is walking distance in to the centre of Milan also.

Milan City Centre
Ostello Bello is a place of hospitality, color, music and total cleanliness of every room within the structure. Between the Dome of Milan and modern City Line. A little dream where I'll come back for sure.

What a great hostel, I’ve stopped at many hostels in my time but this was very much one of the better ones. I can only comment on our private room however. Friendly welcome, easy enough check in even though we arrived at 2am due to cancelled trains, not a problem! Great bar and area, things always happening. We saw a live jazz band in there for the one night we were there. Pub crawls, city tours for free, speed dating have it all. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. It was quite loud during the night, noisy neighbours (not the hostels fault) and a weird kind of opening of vents or something from the aircon possibly. Couldn’t put my finger on it but maybe worth looking at. Thankyou to the team!

I´m not sure how it is like to stay at Ostelzzz for several nights, but I find it a very convenient solution for me who arrived around midnight in Milan, and already had leave from Milano Centrale by noon on the next day. I had a proper sleep for one night in a capsule. It really was a hostel, but with so much better privacy. Staffs were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me a welcome drink. Online check-in in advance made my actual check-in so much easier. Had everything I needed, incl breakfast, towel too. Clean and well-organized. Breakfast was simple, but more than good enough for me. I wouln´t hesitate to choose Ostelzzz next time.

It was really surprising me how great this hostel it is. The receptions are welcoming, super helpful, all of them can speak in English. They always ensure you know that they are their if you need anything, yes 24hours 7 days. Building is modern build, great design and very artistic. I love some of their chairs. Room is good, clean everyday, making bed every day. Toilet is clean. Breakfast are good , many choices for both food and drink. Superb location. Absolutely love it and if I ever am going to Milan again, I will absolutely book this again. Thank you guys.

Just a word: I'm a shit! I have sleeped a night in this hostel for need (with two friends fortunately!!), an experience I don't advise anyone. At first the girl who checked in told us “it's a 50s hostel, so wait for this,” we thought at the beginning it was ironical but it was really like that. It was still in the 50s for the CLEASE speech. The structure is decadent, dirty. A room on the ground floor, half-stop door, “balcony” connecting to all the other rooms with door that is directly on the traffic without even a tent (so they could see inside)!!! The beds were linen, no couchs (and I have to say less bad, because I used the towels they provide you...). To do not mention the bathrooms with unexisting cleaning: washing boxes, bathrooms with no key to close, and on 5, 4 was without toilet paper. I did not do the shower for fear of the conditions in which it was. Well, I and my friends have laughed not to cry, but it would be a place to look again or close, given the price you ask for a night!!

Good hostel, near a supermarket and convenient location with the railway station. A bit overshadowed that my room was on the first floor with a window to the courtyard, it was pretty noisy even with earplugs ... And a rather modest breakfast compared to hostels for the same price. But the friendliness of the staff and convenient location sweetened these inconveniences.
