Gypsy Nest Hostel

On my arrival i was greeted with love and smiles, jay at the front desk was warm and welcoming. Very informative and very helpful. I had booked a private room, the room was spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the streets. The owner, rocky was more than accommodating and very informative. He made sure that i had a comfortable stay. Beautiful experience overall. Will visit again.
Local Lok
4.2/55 Reviews
I had avery nice stay at Local Lok! The hostel is very clean and the service is good. My only complaint is that it is far from the Ganges River, whrte all of the tourist stuff is. It takes about 30 minutes by Rickshaw to get to the Ganges from Local Lok. But other than that it is a very nice place to stay

Taj Ganj
Great hostel to stay with probably the best view possible. The dorm rooms are fine, nothing special but ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful but can sometimes be a bit too much. I would definitely stay again👍

Pearl Courtyard Dormitory
4.6/53 Reviews
I made a last minute reservation for the dormitory space, but they were able to accommodate me. A water server is located in the women's changing room. Everyone is very kind. The cleanliness of the toilets and showers is above Indian standards, and I think it's no different from Japan. There are ***y stalls and shops nearby. Breakfast buffet is good. There are security guards, so safety is high.
Hashtag Traveler's
4/524 Reviews
If you are a solo traveller, you should consider staying at hashtag traveller. The rooms are clean, with six bunk beds. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was clean. The staff was friendly. The only con is that the hostel is on the 4th floor and there is no lift.

Walking distance to some Gatt of Varanasi, very friendly and helpful staff. We had no problems whatsoever and they took care of directing us to the guide for the city and the boat for the Ganga ride. Perfect!
Moustache Agra

As a youth traveler, there is nothing to say. The younger brother at the front desk is so good The first day is 4 o'clock in the morning, help me open the door and give me a place to sleep in the middle of the night and help me cover the blanket, ask if there is no place to take a bath, and then say nothing to me, he will give me a shower. However, as a youth traveler, is it a bit too youthful, and the door is broken and repaired, and the door handle of the room can be directly pulled out, it is a bit embarrassing. The location is very close to the Taj Mahal and can be reached by foot. There are also a lot to eat nearby.
HOT - House Of Travellers Taj view

I gave the service a rating of 1 because one of the staff members entered the female-only dormitory without permission. All the room locks are broken, so you cannot lock the door. When I went to sleep at night, I used a string I had to secure the door. I had no choice but to do so because they kept entering without permission. I don't know if the staff member liked me, but he was very close to me and touched me a lot, so I tried to avoid being alone with him as much as possible during my stay. However, he contacted me even after I checked out and moved to another city. When I left him alone without replying, he reprimanded me for being in contact with other guests, started badmouthing them, and finally started abusing me using vulgar language. It was nothing but fear. I never want to go to Agra again, let alone this hotel, as long as this person is there. I don't want to separate it by gender because the other staff and facilities were good, but it might be okay for men. I definitely do not recommend it for women.
