"When I booked this hostel, there weren't many photos or reviews to go by, so I decided to write a detailed one this time, complete with lots of pictures! First off, the hostel's location is truly excellent. It's very close to both the light rail and the subway. Downstairs, there's a McDonald's and a Starbucks, and a supermarket is just a short walk away. The room layout is really cool, almost like a loft. All beds have curtains, so privacy is excellent. There's actually a kitchen right in the room! It's fully equipped with pots, pans, a microwave, a fridge, and an induction cooktop. There's one shower room and one toilet. The room offers plenty of storage space. Each bed has a standard power outlet and a night light. There are also a table and chairs in the room. While it's quite basic, it has everything you need. The color scheme always gives me a cozy, grandma's house kind of vibe. Breakfast is provided, usually from 7 AM to 11 AM. I think the timing is very flexible, so both early risers and late sleepers can enjoy it. I personally found the breakfast quite good, with tea, coffee, juice, milk, and some bread, vegetables, and hard-boiled eggs. You can store your luggage, and a €5 cash deposit is required at check-in. The bathroom has a hairdryer, and 2-in-1 shower gel/shampoo is also provided."

I enjoy the kitchen, which offers plenty of space, well equipped and it even has an oven. I stayed there several times and like it very much. Location is also great, very central and you have all you need just nearby (supermarket, restaurants, snacks/fast-food...) There could be some more activities initiated by the hostel to get people connected. Like cooking, boardgame night, etc...There is a WhatsApp Group, but at the moment I joined the group there were no activities/ chats in the 5 days I've been there."

"Great Spot for Travelers — Just Be Mindful of Dorm Life I stayed here during my trip and really loved the location — super central and easy to get around. The staff were welcoming and the place was clean, which I really appreciated after long days of exploring. The only downside was the shared dorm experience. One guest came back very late, turned on the lights, talked loudly on the phone, and unfortunately got sick in the bathroom. It made it a bit hard to get proper rest. Still, the hostel itself is great. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer quiet nights, a private room might be worth considering!"

"One thing really upset me! The blinds in my room were broken. I reported it that same day, and the Macedonian guy told me the maintenance worker wouldn't be in until Monday. So, on Monday, I told the front desk again. The Hungarian guy there promised it would be fixed that day, but it never was. Later, when I spoke to the Macedonian guy about it, he immediately snapped back, saying he had told maintenance that they finished work at 4 PM. I thought to myself, 'Does he really need to be that angry?' Maybe his colleague didn't inform him, but it's certainly not my fault. Afterward, when I asked to change rooms, the Macedonian guy had a very impatient attitude! I think that Macedonian guy's customer service skills need some training! And one of the elevators is always out of order…"

"Cons: Not so great initially - strong smell on the room, noise on the street but sorted out quickly. Thanks to prompt action by the management. In most of my stay, floor on the shared bathroom is always wet and no proper ventilation. Lockers are outside the bedrooms so it’s worth having a spare bag for some essential items that you need to keep next to you. Duvet slightly short for tall person. My roommate’s bed was creaking loudly even with simple movement. Pros: Near bus stop and metro station. Near to the popular thermal bath - Széchenyi, and tourist spots Heroes’ Square. Accommodating reception. Things to improve: Proper ventilation and floor rug in the bathroom. Long duvet, cleaner bedsheets and duvet cover and pillow. Overall: If you stay most of the time outside and it’s okay. Main gate always open, occupants got a key for main door but most of time it’s also open. I guess for the price, you get what you paid for."

"Terrace is awesome, staff friendly. Vacak the cat is awesome too. This hostel is a great option to spend some time on the island, had a good night sleep and it was clean. Often though staff can be missing from the reception during the stated reception hours, and nearby is more of a party scene with few quality dining options. The 400ft Costa coffee capsules aren't exactly good either, so there is some space for improvement compared to some of the newer hostels in town."

"The girl lives alone, the room is very clean and comfortable, the smart lock mobile phone program is opened, the security is not good, after all, the electronic lock is locked, see the wisdom, you can say that the same floor residents are very good. Outside is a street view, it is a very quiet neighborhood, not noisy at night, the kitchen is public, the bathroom is public, but there are three and it is very clean, there are four or five residents on the first floor, not too much, other residents are very polite, will say hello when they meet, 22: After 30, there was basically no sound of going out. I slept well. Overall, it was quiet and warm. The hotel is a 100-meter walk away from a shopping mall with many Chinese restaurants, which is a plus. The only fly in the ointment is that the house is old and there is no elevator. You can choose to store large luggage at the zero-story reception. If you want to move up, it is particularly tired. It is not recommended, so you have to consider this if you want to live. In short, the price is really not expensive, I feel that the price is still very high, it is worthy of praise."

The individual space is very spacious, and I can even stand up straight. The locker is big enough for a large suitcase, which is a huge plus! You can also borrow towels, and the bathrooms are large and clean. There's also a hairdryer. The price was great too, so I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Budapest.

The location is in front of bus stop and really close to tram stop. There is SPAR in the beside building. The smell of the hostel is so wonderful. The bed and pillow are very comfortable, I had best sleep ever in my 8 days Europe travelling. They even give two pillows. The storage locker are big enough for luggage 24. The toilet and shower stall have many and the receptionist are so helpful. One of the best hostel ever.

Did not sleep well here at all. There is no privacy in the room, it's not expensive or difficult to put up some sheets or curtains. Very poor effort. It's like sharing a room with your siblings all over again. Very thin walls too so the next door group kept us awake It's supposed to be quiet after 10pm but they all late check in, as a result I was woken by 2am check ins. The socket next to my bed didn't work, neither did the lamp. The pillow is dreadful. The bed is ok. Window didn't close fully and no curtains so sunrise woke me up. Excellent kitchen, comfortable lounge areas, 3 showers & 1 bathroom. All cleaned reasonably well. Check in was easy enough, she is very friendly. The building is absolutely beautiful. The entrance is next to PIZZA ME and a money exchange/kebab store. Supermarkets nearby. Metro & tram nearby. It is in an excellent location. It was cheap and actually good value, I just didn't sleep well If you like privacy and quiet then maybe give this one a swerve

I stayed here for the second time in less than 15 days because I had to book last minute and paid half the price. So, I guess it's cheaper to book on the day itself. The location is good if you only want to explore the east side. I went to use the microwave, and the staff member accompanied me because it's in the breakfast room, which is always closed. The facilities are good, but they don't provide towels, and there's only hand soap at the sink.
