"In Yining, this is a place where you can truly slow down. I've stayed in hostels all over the world, and this one honestly ranks among the top, a real 'white moonlight' experience (meaning it's exceptional and unforgettable). The cafe at the entrance is clean and tidy. In the evenings, travelers gather there to chat and relax, which is wonderfully leisurely. There's also my favorite reading area, perfect for practicing calligraphy, finding peace, or simply reading. It's a quiet space for focused contemplation, also great for introverted friends. The communal kitchen greatly simplifies meal planning for travelers. You can cook your own healthy and affordable food. I often shared meals with other hostel guests, finding new dining companions every night. We'd chat, and every meal was lively and had an amazing atmosphere. Here, you get to experience the most authentic and vibrant slice of life. I've stayed in both the dorms and the tents, and each has its own unique charm. The bunk beds in the dorms are equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable sleep even in the summer heat. The tents offer a more private space, which is a different kind of experience. The infrastructure is also excellent; with mosquito zappers, you don't have to worry about mosquito bites."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, almost directly opposite the century-old teahouse, placing it right in the heart of the ancient city. Male dorms are on the second floor, female dorms on the third, and the rooftop is on the fourth. The hotel is home to several adorable cats, including British Shorthairs and a 'Big Orange' (ginger cat). The price is incredibly reasonable; a few tens of yuan in Kashgar is a fantastic deal, in my opinion. I personally saw the quilts, pillowcases, and sheets being changed for new ones! They even smelled like they'd been sun-dried. The room was very quiet at night, with no noise allowed inside. I'm very satisfied! Highly recommend!"

"Come to Kashgar to play, this is the first time I have lived in the Youth Hostel, ** brushed it. The environment is very good, the boys and girls are separated, the boys are on the first floor and the girls are on the second floor, the washing machine is also separated, the aunt will clean the room every day, and it will be very clean to keep it by herself. The atmosphere is also not bad. This time I met the Dragon Boat Festival. The boss also bought dumplings for everyone to eat. Usually, the group will organize some live games, werewolf killing, script killing and the like. It is still recommended for finishing (∗❛ั∀❛ั∗) ✧*."

"This is my second time in Kashgar, and this time I just randomly picked a hostel, which turned out to be far beyond my expectations! There's a huge mulberry tree in the lobby, making it very cool and creating a great atmosphere. As soon as I arrived, I joined a board game group and learned a new way to play from Inner Mongolia. The beds are super soft and comfortable, and my roommates were all very considerate. The lady who checked me in was also very friendly and recommended some great places to eat. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

Even if you're just passing by, we invite you to stop in and soak up the unique atmosphere that makes our hostel truly special.

"I stayed in a partitioned room for 4 people. The room was quite spacious, and the beds were 1.2m wide. You needed a key card to enter the room, which felt secure. I felt the mattress was a bit sunken in the middle, probably from too many people sleeping on it. The owner might want to consider flipping the mattresses regularly. The pillows were very high! And the duvet was a bit thick for summer. The toilet in my particular room wasn't very clean (see photo 2). The hot water was good and hot, but the water pressure wasn't very strong. On the second floor, there's a women's only area with two squat toilets and one shared shower room. The third floor has a rooftop balcony where you can dry clothes. However, there was dog poop on the ground there 🤣. Being a hostel/guesthouse, it was quite lively, and people were chatting nearby at night. It quieted down after about midnight. I'd recommend bringing earplugs. There are cute cats and dogs in the hostel, but the dog was sleeping in its cage during the day because it was hot."

"To sum it up, this is an excellent hostel. 1. The lobby is huge. I've stayed in many hostels and hotels, and this is by far the biggest lobby I've ever seen. 2. The service is fantastic. All the staff are polite and enthusiastic young people. 3. The facilities are super comprehensive. They have a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and kettle, all free to use. 4. The management is very well-regulated. The no-smoking policy throughout the building and the rule against chatting or making calls inside the rooms are truly excellent. 5. My roommates were great. Everyone in the room was considerate, and the room was clean, tidy, and quiet. 6. The surroundings are very convenient. It's just over 200 meters walk to the bus stop, and within 100 meters there are plenty of dining options. If you want BBQ, there's BBQ; if you want mixed noodles, there are mixed noodles, and also stir-fries. Oh, right, the hostel also offers shared meals with home-cooked dishes. 7. The atmosphere is superb. The manager is a Uyghur lady who teaches everyone Uyghur language and dance, and the staff often play games with us in the lobby."

"Don't stay here in the summer, it's too hot and stuffy. The next day, I asked around and found out everyone had woken up from the heat the night before. Although Tashkurgan nights are cool in summer, this room wasn't ventilated, so it was incredibly stuffy. You couldn't even open the door, and it was noisy outside with people playing games and chatting. It's okay to stay in other seasons. Oh, and there was no shower gel in the toilet, only soap! But the Pamir Plateau is truly beautiful."

Excellent service and a very clean, spacious room with comfortable bedding. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance of the ancient city. Popular spots like the century-old teahouse, Id Kah Mosque, Rainbow Alley, Buidai Alley, 'Grandpa's Grandpa's Father's Nang' (a famous naan shop), and Oil Painting Street are all just a stone's throw from Guilai Inn. There are plenty of local eateries downstairs, making dining very convenient. The owner is very welcoming, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The night views are beautiful and captivating. Plus, there are bus stops nearby for easy access to the airport and train station. It was a pleasant trip and I highly recommend it; you definitely won't regret staying at this inn.

We initially booked a room with windows, but upon arrival they told us there were only rooms without window left. So we did not had another choice than to take it. We negotiated with the owner and he gave us some discount. The walls in the room were quite filthy with lots of stains on it and the bathroom was missing a door. When taking a shower, the whole floor was under water because the drains are probably clogged massively. The owner and the receptionist were both very friendly though and the hotel is in a very good location right next to the metro station and shopping mall.

The decoration is very novel The boss is very nice. I went to Ta County for two days. I told the boss about my luggage and he helped me store it! I met a sister from Nanning at the youth hostel and she was also very nice! Kashgar I will come again By the way, Ta County is worth a visit! But don’t sign up for a tour group from Central Asia! I didn’t go to many scenic spots, and when I arrived at the scenic spot, I was asked to come back in 5 minutes, come back in 10 minutes, and give me a maximum of 40 minutes of play time (black man’s question mark face). Then the weather was 38 or 9 degrees, and the driver drove with the windows open! (crying face)

Came to Kashgar with friends on motorcycles and stayed at 'Guren Gui' – best decision ever! The landlady is an amazing cook, and you can join in for shared meals. Parking is super easy right outside the courtyard. Plus, there are mulberries and figs you can pick freely. There were also a lot of foreigners here, and chatting with them was really fun. The hostel common area is huge and super comfy on the first floor, not hot at all, and you can even sing and dance together.

Very reliable and secure compound. Situated on the 9th and 10th floors of the Super 8 hotel, this hostel is quite quiet and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the interior was frequently patrolled by security. The only notable factor for prospective tourists was that the. domestic guests in the male room were quite rough. A lot of inside smoking and loudness.
