Overall, it was decent. The location is very convenient. My first impression was a little off because the mattress looked a bit old, but after checking, I found it was clean, so it wasn't a huge issue. The mirror above the sink was also a bit too small. For breakfast, I went down a bit late and there was hardly anything left. I hope these points can be improved.

Excellent! Very convenient for travel, though first-timers might find it a bit tricky to locate. You can call or message the accommodation for directions. The staff provided exceptional service and were incredibly helpful. I couldn't check in by 10 PM, and they gave excellent advice on online check-in. The accommodation is located near Main Taipei Station, Exit Z4. After exiting, turn around, and you'll see McDonald's. The entrance is in the building next to PAYO on the 12th floor. The place is clean and safe, exclusively for women (though the elevator is shared with other hotels/businesses). You need to change shoes before entering the accommodation area. There's a vending machine for drinks and snacks at the front desk. They provide amenities, but the dressing room with a hairdryer and mirror is quite small, with only 4-5 spots, which might not be enough during peak hours. There aren't many restrooms, and the toilet and shower are combined, though the shower area is separated. Each bed has its own locker, which isn't very large – suitable for a backpack but not a suitcase. They provide a basket for carrying items to the shower. Luggage needs to be stored at the front desk. Overall, I really liked it. The bed was very comfortable!

The hotel entrance is inside a Family Mart, which made it a bit hard to find. The facilities are quite old, but the location is super convenient – right downstairs you have a train station, taxis, and convenience stores. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. I also participated in a brownie-making activity, and it was a fun, hands-on experience!

It's close to Hualien Station, about a 5-minute walk away, but the entrance is not very wide, so be careful. Lockers with keys are available. The staff were friendly and all facilities were clean. There is a common space next to the reception, but it is not face-to-face, so it may be a little difficult to talk to other guests. My bed was a double and spacious, but there was only one power outlet, so I couldn't use the bed lamp and adapter at the same time.

Great hostel right in the main streets of ita Thao. The bus stop is just up the road and there is shops and small restaurants right outside. The staff were lovely and very helpful- always smiling and greeting us as we passed. The capsule was spacious for a double bed capsule with space to leave some belongings beside the bed. It had good A/C, was very clean and even has a small window which was nice. The bed was comfortable and it was secure with the key card lock. The dorms were nice and quiet. The floor had a lovely bathroom with good shower facilities. Lockers were big and fit all our backpacks. Also has a nice lounging area on the floor as well. The rooftop area seemed lovely if the weather allowed. Washing machines and driers were old and didn’t dry our clothes properly so maybe use the launderette in the town instead. The kitchen area was clean and spacious and has a massive tv. Little extras such as umbrellas outside, slippers for the room and the music area are an added bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to sun moon lake. It is modern and great value for money for a hostel.

Location: You will need to walk up to 15 mins with the last part of the trail to be uphill. If you have heavy luggage, you will need to do some workout. But overall, it is located in the quiet area of the town and very peaceful. Around the corner, there's a 7-e convenient store. Room: Big and spacious, and very clean. To note that, the fridge is sharing among all the rooms in the same floor. Service: Good and excellent customer service. Breakfast: Decent but not entirely amazing.

I stayed for several nights in a 4-person female dormitory room. There's no separation by floor for male and female guests; both are assigned to the same floor. Therefore, the sinks, toilets, and showers are all shared. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded, and the facilities were regularly cleaned, so it wasn't inconvenient. It seemed there was a shared washing machine located deeper inside. Although the air conditioning in the room was on, it wasn't cool enough to be comfortable. Inside the capsule, there's only one Type-C charging port and one USB port. The USB port in my capsule was broken. There's also a fairly deep personal locker in the room, probably about 50-60 cm deep. Additionally, there was a small table in the room with an outlet for charging. The basic amenities provided inside the capsule include one small towel, a pack of tissues, and earplugs. If you add them on Line Messenger, they respond to your inquiries. I was very satisfied! My roommates were great, so we had a quiet and pleasant stay.

Great stay at Yilan Inspiration hostel. Stayed in a 4 person dorm, and it had it's own attached bathroom, and the room was clean. People at the front were also very nice. They checked in with us before we arrived to check when we would arrive, and provided instructions for the car. They don't provide towels for use. They do have some coffee and lots of books available. Thank you!

I love that this place is near from the transportation and tourist spot, everything is walkable. Aside from that the staff is accommodating. If you're more concerned with its safety this hostel is a best choice. Definitely a best hostel when visiting in Chiayi
