Poshpacker Flipflop Youth Hostel (Taikoo Li Chunxi Road Metro Station)

Chunxi Road Commercial Area
We stayed here for 4 nights. Overall, the experience here was amazing 9/10, especially with the price and its location. It has got easy access to the metro and bus to airport, tonnes of nice eating spot with just walking distance Disposable toilet seat cover was to my surprised, as well as the international power points around the entire room. The stuff and cleaners here were absolutely welcoming and helpful too. However, there were abit of smell in the toilet not sure if it was leftover from the previous people or just the ventilation problem. Although everything looked clean in the room, but we have somehow been experiencing nose allergy every night we come back to the room and turn on the AC. So maybe the air conditioning can be clean more regularly together with the lights cover tat were slightly covered with dust.
Xiyuan Mushe Hotel (Chengdu Tianfu International Airport)
4.3/583 Reviews
Tianfu International Airport/Jianyangnan Railway Station
Flight arrived around midnight and the free airport pickup was still available. They do not have a WeChat number to call. I do not have a local number so I asked a customer service desk in TFU airport to help me to call the hotel pickup and get the vehicle number. The one that picked me up was 川A DM7885. Great to have this service available from the hotel. They also pick up other passengers from other hotels before dropping us off. Location is good, plenty of food options available until 2am (can choose either right beside the hotel or walk 10 minutes for even more food choices). It used to be a small farming town that got transformed into many hotels to cater to the TFU airport transit passengers. Service staff at night was friendly and helpful, even helping me to plan my transport for the next day. However dealing with the morning shift staff was somewhat unpleasant, since they asked me to cancel my hotel booking in Chengdu because they were trying to persuade me to sign up to their vacation package. Not a good way to do business. The room was basic. Hot water shower in my room was inconsistent, had to wait a long time to get warm water (not hot). The water kettle was leaking a bit when boiling water, which I hope they've already replaced. The corridor lights are sensor operated, and it looks dark until you start walking. The courtyard is nice but also not as fancy as the photos. Overall ok for just 1 night stay.

Litang's Summer International Youth Hostel
4.4/570 Reviews
This hostel is under different management than what many reviewers have previously written about. The big drooly dog is gone, staff were helpful, and the room clean and comfortable. We were stuck in Yajiang without transport to Litang, and the hostel owner sent a car from Litang to pick us up on short notice. In many other small things they were helpful. Location is off the main tourist *****, which we liked. There is construction opposite so keep that in mind if you like to sleep in - with two small children who were quite happy watching “construction TV” we didn’t mind. Clothes washing facilities were great and we were able to hang everything out in the sun afterward. Very useful given we are cycle touring and don’t have many clothes! Ronin gave us each a small hand-made gift on departure, which our kids loved. He and his staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. They are slowly fixing up some things clearly left in a poor state (like the bar building) but with COVID still affecting tourism in China I guess they need to prioritise. We had a great stay and highly recommend this hostel - thanks Ronin and team!

I was here only for one night. There was a pleasant administrator at the reception who spoke english. And by the way, quite a lot of foreigners in the hostel, the atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. There was a four-bed room with clean linen, a comfortable mattress and a pillow. A room with a magnetic key and a safe with a lock. There is a supermarket and noodles next to the hostel. Cons: A little dirty ceiling in the room and someone's ownerless things are scattered everywhere.
Chengdu Friends Youth Hostel

The location is very good, very close to Line 3 and Line 1. The apartment building is old and the address on Ctrip has not changed. Fortunately, the boss called me promptly to tell me that the address had been moved to another building. Fortunately, I was the only one who checked in that day, and I was ecstatic. The environment is almost like an ordinary student dormitory. The boss will provide earplugs if it is close to the street. This location in the city is well worth less than 100 yuan. And the boss has a lot of great books and cats. Cats🥺🥺🥺 are really cute, but you have to close the door or they will play with you. Read books + pet cats + stay and make a lot of money~ If I have a chance, I would like to come and see the cats🥺🥺🥺

This time I came to Chengdu alone. I felt very gentle as soon as I entered the hall. It was very comfortable to live here. The service was very good. The front desk staff was very warm. The room was clean and hygienic. There was a big dog. It was also very docile. There were a lot of things to eat next to it. It was close to the subway station and very convenient. The key price is affordable, next time you come to Chengdu, you will still live here, recommended
Mitang Youth Hostel
4.6/5465 Reviews
Chengdu University of TCM/Kuanzhai Alley nearby area
I've been travelling round China for 3 weeks and this is the best hostel I've stayed in so far. I didn't want to leave. My friend was at another hostel in chengdu, he spent one evening hanging-out at Mitang and decided to move completely to Mitang because of how good the vibe is. Pros: the most friendly, welcoming and social staff; a roof-top bar/social area which is busy every night; Fuqin is great location with a huge street-food market, wet-market and restaurants; cheap and delicious cooked lunch/dinners at a low price. Cons: the facilities need some maintenance (but the hostel is always clean and the fundamentals worked properly), it is a 12-minute walk from the subway (not hugely convenient, but fine).

This hotel is newly opened and is still being renovated. It is a youth hostel converted from a local ******* family. It has four-person rooms, six-person rooms, and parent-child rooms. The only inconvenient thing is the toilet, but the boss is making improvements. The whole house is quite big. You can drink wine and coffee on the first floor, which is quite atmospheric. There is a yard outside that is a tent area where you can have barbecues and other things, which is very suitable for young people! !
