Hostels in Sichuan, China

This is probably your best option in Chengdu. The rooms are really cute with a tatami style bed and they are clean. The water pressure is awesome and the room is quiet. The staff speaks English so it is easy to communicate and get help/info. The hang around areas are nice and the roof top has a great view but the beers are a bit expensive for being a hostel. Zoey that works in the reception is the best! She is super service minded and will help you with everything! She helped us much more than expected from the hotel/hostel staff. Without her our visit would have been much less nice and more complicated. The hostel should be super happy to have her and should do everything in the world to keep her! If we go back to Chengdu we would choose this hostel over a nicer hotel just because of the brilliant service, thanks a lot Zoey! The laundry service upstairs works great and it is cheap but there is only one machine and you can hang your clothes there and they dry quickly or you use the dryer. We didn't have any issues waiting to use them etc.

It’s my second time here. I saw many complaints about the foul smell because of the renovation in the review section. The first floor stills smells like drainage. But the room I stayed was ok. There was no smell coming from the toilet either. However, there was a crack in the ceiling so the ceiling rock fell down on the bed and was dusty when I entered the room. Also they had the window open - but as there is no web for bug protection - a lot of leaves and some insects entered the room and was on the floor. Overall it was a good stay. However, when I visited here during winter the shower water was hot enough to take a good shower. But yesterday, the water was very cold. And I was already wet to call for help. There was also ********** on the desk but I cleared it away… Still there are alot of amenities and the staff can speak a bit of english.

Clean and modern facilities with decent curtains, comfy beds, and private lockers. The other guests are also really friendly and keen to meet new people. I thought the music they played in the bathrooms and the little extras was a nice touch. The staff are also really friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Felix! Eleven the dog is also adorable, he's like a welcome mat that's alive 哈哈

Because i stayed here multiple times again and again, you may see my review many times. They really took care of me well so I think it’s my responsibility to make sure everyone knows they will be taken care when they stay here. Refer to my previous review for more info. Other than that, from my experience here, i can safely say the coffee here was really good. Only 9.9 yuan. You can try. The beers sold here are pretty cheap too. Cheaper than convenience shop. Really respect the management for this. There is a list of good food pasted at the lobby. Make sure refer to that and find those delicious food. I loved all of them. Ahh.. and and if you want to warm up your food, there is a microwave available at the bar. Wash your clothes at ground floor at the back, there is washing machine available.

I visited Chengdu during the National Day and stayed at Qingcheng Shiguan for 4 days. I had some concerns before checking in, but after checking in, I felt that the environment was very good, the public area was large, and the location was excellent, right behind Wangfujing. I also met fellow travelers from all over the country. Thank you all. They were very self-conscious, and there were several fellow travelers chatting until midnight the night before leaving. The hotel bed is very comfortable to sleep on. The bed curtains are drawn down for good privacy. The aunt will do the cleaning every day and all the necessary facilities are available. However, the bathroom and washroom are shared, but it’s okay. After all, it’s not too difficult to travel alone. If you ask for more, the National Day price is quite cheap, cost-effective, and suitable for traveling alone.

A lovely old building, well decorated but very worn and still needs some repairs. The share bathrooms are really not adequate. It's great staying in a hostel though. I got a lot of help from staff and their walking tour was the best I've ever done. The cleaning staff work very hard and do a great job where they can, but it must be difficult for them. There is a kitchen you can use too. Lots of places to eat in the area and Chengdu’s food is so good you probably won’t want to cook.

Nice location and very clean. The only issue is the lift under maintenance when I checked out, so I got to go up to 6th floor to return card and went down to 1st floor to exit again. It’s not convenience at all. Suggest can place the rubbish bin right behind the door ,thereby the roommates won’t throw the rubbish in front of my bed at down bed, it’s not so comfortable at all. Overall is good 👍

The hotel is old and definitely need some renovations, but my room was clean and cozy with aircoinditioning and window. There is no soundproofing so you can easily hear everything from outside and from the corridor. The staff is very nice and helpful, they were always asking me if I need something, one of them could also speak english! The bed is very hard but I got used to it, they provide slippers and the necessary toiletteries. The location is quite good, you can find sharing bike right in front of the hotel and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. To enter the hotel you must go up the stairs, the staff helped me to carry my luggage. There is also a terrace with some chairs and table where you can chill and a very cute dog. Overall a very good experience

Warm and thoughtful service.  The room is clean and spacious.  The Chongqing noodles recommended by the boss taste very good.  It is worth a try! The location is easy to find.  The room is large enough for four people.  The bedding is very comfortable.  Clean and comfortable.  The yak beef soup pot at the Heshi Tucai Restaurant at the door tastes great.  The portion is large.  Recommended!

A cost-effective hostel located in Siguniang Mountain, close to Changpinggou, Shuangqiaogou and Haizigou. The owner is very interesting, generous, handsome and friendly. This time, I traveled alone, but I was not lonely at all. Here, I felt free and relaxed. 🌿The accommodation is quiet, with a small independent lamp and plug beside the bed. The surrounding area of ​​the hostel is quieter and the air is fresh, providing me with a peaceful resting space. 🌿The facilities in the store are relatively complete. There is a large screen on the first floor, where you can watch movies, and occasionally organize activities. Here, I experienced playing Three Kingdoms, Werewolf, backgammon, and making tea, and enjoyed the happy time during the trip. 🌿There is an open-air terrace on the top of the building with a good view. Looking around, it is green and surrounded by mountains. Every position is like a painting. What a special place this is! It's impossible not to fall in love with Emma's charming guesthouse. You feel immediately at home with Emma's family. No question or request is too much- we have never felt so well looked after. It helps that Emma speaks English really well and has a great sense of humour! Highly recommend the home cooked local food too. We will be coming back 🙏❤️

The room is very clean, the boss is very friendly, the goods are good and the price is cheap. There is an elevator on the third floor where we stayed. There are also parking spaces. We happened to encounter the Songpan Music Festival, and the room was just right to see the fireworks🎆

The price of 500+ is too expensive, which is estimated to be when the passenger flow is large during the summer vacation. I don't know if the overall level of Siguniangshan Town is like this, in short, the price is not high.

There is an electric blanket in the room, which is good. I slept well at night and it was relatively quiet. A hotel with less than RMB 300 on National Day is very cost-effective. It's quite close to Mizoguchi, but you have to leave early because the traffic jam is severe these days.

Very good, comfortable and clean capsule hostel. Each capsule is equiped with all the necessary amenities. It is very rare to find such good capsule hostel in China. The owner is very helpful in providing information. He even helped me to arrange for shared taxi to Daocheng. Highly recommended to stay here.

Hostel is at a 5min walk from the busstation which is very conventient. It is quite a walk from there to the center of the city though. It was a bit difficult to find as the entrance is at the entrance of a different hotel and you have to go to the upper floor to enter the hostel. Female dormroom is quite small and there is almost no space to leave your luggage. The bedsheets weren't clean, and clearly used before. Plenty of toilets and showers available, which were quite clean. The family who runs the hostel is very kind but they don't seem to know much about activities such as hiking in the area. Wifi available in the common area. Okay for one or two nights.

I had a wonderful time here. Despite the owner is still working on some part of the structure, the hotel is incredibly beautiful! Makes you feel like stepping into another age. The host is also very kind and helpful, he helped me to buy the bus ticket and offered to drive me to the bus station outside the city. I warmly recommend this place to any visitor in Litang. Il mio soggiorno qui è stato eccezionale. L'albergo è ancora in fase di rifinitura ma gli ambienti sono già godibili ed incredibilmente belli! Sembra di essere in un'altra epoca.
