"The location is fantastic, right next to Peiyuan Bridge Metro Station, making it super convenient for getting around! The hostel has a great atmosphere, and even as a solo traveler, it's easy to find companions. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the environment was comfortable. My only small suggestion is to improve the cleanliness of the bedding details; this time I found a stain on the sheets. Other than that, everything was satisfactory, and I would consider staying here again!"

"I had a very comfortable stay. The owner was super nice, and the environment was beautiful and clean. The landlady cleaned every day! It's really close to the subway station, just 100m from Huangxing Square. There are plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment nearby. Guys, I've even seen this place half an hour after checking out."

"I saw this hostel reviewed on Xiaohongshu and booked two nights based on the great photos on their profile. The location is excellent, nestled in an alley right opposite Yuelu Mountain. It's a lovely, quiet spot. The bed was big and very soft, and the dorms are separated by gender. The bathroom and toilet are combined, and the shower pressure is fantastic. They have a cute poodle, and I also saw a black cat in the lobby and a Siamese cat on the rooftop where I was drying my clothes. Overall, I was really happy, so I extended my stay by another night! Just two minor points: the lighting in the glass room on the first floor is quite harsh, making it impossible to see my face when putting on makeup. Also, the Wi-Fi in my third-floor room was incredibly slow; I had to go downstairs to work on my tablet. Hope they can improve that!"

"This is perfectly located to enter the east gate of Zhangjiajie park. It’s close the the bus station too. You can get filtered water, use microwave, and they have shampoo and body wash and toothpaste and disposable towels. The rooms are not fancy but comfortable. The staff are lovely, and they are especially helpful with planning your Zhangjiajie hiking routes. The receptionist gave me lots of good tips! Thank you! Also, theres a dog and cat as security your guards! 😆"

"Very nice little place. Owners are friendly and helpful. There is a common area and good wifi, many floors (8+) and many different rooms. Free laundry on the balcony and drinking water, microwave and hot water available, with a food steamer as well. The location is easy to find, close to the river and the main area for the night show. Although the humidity is insane in this little town, this hostel tries to fight it with these machines that dehumidify the air. So in the dorms you will see a bit of mould, but I think all in all that can't be avoided in a humid town like this. Overal it is a nice little stay, the only improvement would be for the cleaning to be immaculate. Recommend 100% if you are a low budget backpacker!"

"First, the conclusion—this is the best hostel I've ever stayed in, so I stayed for almost half a month! 【Overall Environment】Very new and clean. The owner has some design background, and the overall feel is minimalist and aesthetically pleasing. 【Facilities】One room even has two separate bathrooms and showers, which is incredibly luxurious and definitely deserves extra points! 【Cleanliness】Very clean. As you can see in the pictures, the lobby and rooms are bright and spotless, with no unpleasant odors. 【Bed and Air Conditioning】The mattress is very soft, not cheap bedding, and feels great against the skin. You don't even need to put on a sheet cover, which is very convenient! The air conditioning is also very powerful, yet it's surprisingly quiet, not disturbing your rest—better than many five-star hotels! 【Entertainment Facilities】The pool table is relatively new. I played a couple of games there every day—so comfortable! Also, there's even a free Switch on the second floor—can you believe it?! 【Food】The owner was incredibly welcoming, recommending many restaurants on the first day and even picking us up and dropping us off. None of them were bad! Especially the **Shell Boxed Meals—yyds! I ate there for a week! [Fun] The owner is quite playful; he brought a drone to play with us. A few of us went to a small canyon with Danxia landforms. This place was even more interesting than Xiaodongjiang, which I visited later, because it was undeveloped and more pristine! [Other] The owner also sang karaoke with us and introduced me to a song called ”Post-Rock” (or ”Slow Rock,” I can't quite remember). The song was fun, but it didn't do justice to the owner's personal charm. His goal this year seems to be skydiving or paragliding; I wish him success! [Summary] Danxia red cliffs reflected in the setting sun, Chenzhou is like a dream, no need to return! Mugen Youth Hostel, definitely worth a stay!"

"After the Spring Festival, I came to find a house. It was raining, cold, and there were few people. There was one of me in the quadruple room. It was very quiet and quiet during the day (because there are many student parties here, in order to take the exam, I basically understand the hidden rules. If there are some people who affect people's rest, the proprietress will also remind you friendly), Sleeping at night is also quiet (except for the sound of the Japanese food next door during dinner hours: Ding Dong, xx please eat). "The room was incredibly clean, and there wasn't any strange smell from the beds or bathroom. It's rare to find a regular hostel with such high standards of cleanliness; it easily matches the quality of well-known brands like 'Backpackers Ten Years'. The facilities are basic, but the price is affordable, offering great value for money. The landlady is also a very kind and helpful lady. She let us store our luggage for two days for free and gave us a super detailed guide to the forest park, recommending many beautiful spots that weren't crowded. Zhangjiajie is wonderful, and I definitely want to come back! 😄"
