The room is VERY CLEAN and comfortable cozy once you're inside. You have a VERY QUIET comfortable private space of your own once inside. All amentities were included : showgel, brushes, blowdryer, mini fridge, tea kettle n all(even washing service). The wall plugs were the traveller-friendly type w/ usb charger in them, one can just plug-in all your phone devices n electronic gadgets in them and start charging. The air conditioning and the cleaniness made the room felt comfortable cozy inside.
The atmosphere is very warm n home-like in this hostel with helpful staffs. They provided free washing service and managed to give back the washed clothes. The doors have two levels (front door, then your room door) and uses digital-number entry(not the swipe card type), cameras are everywhere in hallway, you feel safer inside. Location is just at the heart of the city central from everywhere (main shopping, food, main tourist sites) by foot, just 1min walk right outside the T.S.T main A1 exit, you won't miss it.
Greatest affordable Value overall for the great central location, cleaniness n comfortableness of rooms inside, n warm overall environment w/ helpful attentive staff inside. Would Definitely book this place again.!

Very clean from when you enter the compounds of the hostel, to the reception area, to the room. Credits to the cleaning staff especially when I saw the two en-suite bathrooms of the 8 girls dorm the next morning , it was in a terrible state caused by the guests of the shared dorm.
The room is spacious for 8 bed female dorm with lockers, full length mirrors and two en-suite bathrooms. Hand soap , bath soap , toilet paper was provided. No towels and no hairdryer provided. Hanging hooks available in room. Many storage areas with big lockers. Comfortable bed and duvet. You have to remove duvet sheets , bedsheets, pillow case upon checkout and return it to reception area bins.
Good choice for the budget traveller and for cost of hotels in Hong Kong. Place is worth visiting just for the nostalgic vibe of the place.

I recently stayed at this hostel in Hong Kong and while it offered a budget-friendly option, there were some notable things to consider. The room I stayed in was quite small, with two sets of triple bunk beds. On the first night, I found myself on the top bunk, which was uncomfortably close to the ceiling. It was so low that I couldn’t even sit up properly or bend my legs—thankfully, I’m not claustrophobic. The next day, I was able to switch to a different bed as someone left, which was a relief.
The bathroom was very compact but functional, and like the rest of the hostel, everything felt quite narrow. It wasn’t the most spacious experience, but it did the job.
On the plus side, this hostel is affordable, and its location is perfect for exploring Hong Kong, being centrally located with easy access to key attractions. Overall, while it may not be the most comfortable place to stay, it’s definitely one of the cheapest options in a prime area.

Check in were not so good experience, no staff were there, tried to call the number, but no one pickup. Waited almost 30 minutes. Decided to went on for dinner nearby. Check in were fine after that when staff is back. Friendly staff.
Location is walking distance to Temple Street and Kowloon.
Lots of attraction n food selection nearby.
Room were abit small, but understandable. Ok for 1 person stay.
I will come back again for next trip stay.
Thank you. 😊

The location was great, just right next to the Jordan Station. The reception was friendly and approachable. The room was clean in general but the toilet was kinda smelly.

The building is really easy to find and the location is really convenient Check in is a bit difficult if you don't have a local phone number, as you need to call the owner to get the code to enter. The owner was really nice and spoke English well.
The rooms are very small and squeezy, but that's pretty common for Hong Kong. Soap and shampoo was provided in the bathroom.

comfortable place🥰 clean and also, has a very warm hospitality. the house taker is very friendly and accommodating. she's helpful at all times and always has the best attitude assisting the guest. grateful to stay here☺️
One of the hotels with the best CP value I have stayed in so far.
The self-service check-in system is great (extremely friendly to people with social phobia).
The environment is very good, the lighting and supporting facilities are very warm, an ideal capsule cabin.
The location is average, a certain distance from the subway station and the US Consulate, but it is really a good place for people who pay attention to the quality of accommodation, highly recommended!

Quite a comfortable room, has everything you need. Yes, there is not enough space, but for Hong Kong these are very good conditions, cheap, and also in the city center, we really liked it. We speak Chinese and English, but at the reception there was a Chinese guy who speaks Russian, we were very pleasantly surprised. He asked us when our flight was and recommended a bus to the airport, which stops near the hotel. We only had pleasant impressions, so I recommend this hotel.
I recently stayed at YHA Jockey Club Mt. Davis Youth Hostel, and it was an experience worth sharing! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle while still being within reach of all the action, this is the place to be.
What I Loved:
✅ Breathtaking Views: The hostel is perched on Mt. Davis, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, especially at sunrise and sunset—absolutely stunning!
✅ Affordable & Great Value: Compared to most accommodations in Hong Kong, this hostel offers great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for travellers.
✅ Tranquil Atmosphere: Unlike hotels in the city centre, this place is surrounded by nature, perfect for those who want a relaxing stay.
✅ Friendly Staff: The hostel staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips on getting around.
✅ Outdoor Common Area: There’s a nice outdoor area where you can sit back, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the views.
A Few Things to Note:
🔹 Location & Transport: Since the hostel is located on a hill, getting there requires taking a shuttle bus (provided by the hostel) or a taxi. If you prefer a more adventurous route, a scenic hike up Mt. Davis is an option, of course please do it during the day time.
🔹 Basic Amenities: This is a youth hostel, so don’t expect luxury. The rooms are simple but clean, with basic beds and shared facilities. Bring your own toiletries for added comfort.
🔹 Limited Dining Options: There isn’t a restaurant on-site, so it’s best to bring your own food or plan to eat before heading up. The common kitchen is available for light meal prep.
🔹 WIFI coverage & Speed, the signal in room is very pool, I started a 10 mins YouTube video at night and cannot reach to the end after sun rise.
Overall Experience:
If you're an adventurer, a backpacker, or someone looking for a quiet escape with fantastic views, I highly recommend this hostel. It may not be for those seeking high-end comforts, but for nature lovers and budget-conscious travellers, it’s a hidden gem on Hong Kong Island! 🌿🏙️
Would I stay here again? Yes! Just be prepared for the location challenge, but once you get there, the views are totally worth it.

EExpatFor extended ***** New Year, I started my trip with a few days in Hong Kong. Reception helped me find location. Very expensive and a tight fit (only bathroom window). Otherwise a good option considering the area is high-traffic. Near The Library cafe bar terrace, a perfect spot.
GGuest UserI want to try and be balanced. I hate to give this place too much hate. I feel like they’re doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt and the price reflects that. This being my first time to Hong Kong, I was not aware of what to expect price wise.
That said, I want people to who read this to have more reasonable expectations than what the 4-5 star ratings want you to have.
Location. I suppose it’s in a good location of the city but it’s in an apartment above a market like setup. As i walked into the building i was immediately pounced upon by individual after individual who seemed to be trying to rent me their own rooms. I had to just ignore them and keep walking. I don’t like being rude, but I’ve found this is the easiest way to escape. I never feel safe in situations like this especially late at night.
The room was small and generally clean. I’ve left hotels in the past that were just horrid, this isn’t one of those. The mattress was comfortable but the bed was short. I feel the pillows and blankets were “clean “. But they were clean to the standards that I wash my own bedding. They were very white, but with some obvious stains that haven’t quite washed out, and one pillow appeared to have something like a blood stain visible through the pillow case. You will want to bring some sort of sleeping bag or liner. I was happy i had one.
The bathroom had no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, bidet/paper. The toilet bowl was black inside and immediately began to smell of sewer gas as i was urinating. It leaked when i flushed it. Gave me quite a start. The stench stayed around for 10-20 minutes or so. After that i didn’t want to do anything else in the bathroom. I used a bottle of water to brush my teeth.
I don’t know. If you’re looking at the outside of the building during the day, it’s what you’d expect. If you’re familiar with the cost of living in Hong Kong, it’s probably also what you’d expect at this price. If you just want a relatively clean place to sleep, and don’t want to spend a lot for hotels that reviewers say have the same issues, this will work. Just make sure you have your sleeping bag liner.
For this price, I’d probably stay there again if they fixed the plumbing.

GGuest UserThe accommodation is very clean, staying for 2 nights, came to clean, clean the bathroom, arrange the room, throw garbage, turn on the air conditioner and wait to come back in. Close to all amenities, very good
AAnonymous UserVery good location as the metro (mtr) is very near to the hotel as attached in the photo. Just opposite the hotel. There are alot of eateries downstairs as well as 7-11.
You may also take airport bus (A21) from nearby bus stop.
However, the rooms was very very small. The double bed looks like super single. Room was clean and no housekeeping will be provided during your stay. Only provide tissues and 1 bottle of mineral water on daily basis.
DDeschanOverall experience is good since I’m a frequent travelers familiar with such practice of capsule room, only problem is the paper refill for common toilet ; sometimes used up before cleaner dropby next day and nobody could help to load the paper bcos it’s locked ; hope that receptionist can pay attention

AAzaa13I didn’t expect much even i was bit worried after booking hotel i checked reviews and it seemed negative.
When i arrived it was actually better than I expected. You can keep your luggage for free.
Owner sort of upgraded my room from shared bathroom to private bath room. I am very delighted to accept.
Room is confined and small, but that is expected in this area also with this budget. I am happy that I received good value.
TtraveLOR_dmdI put 4 in service although ehat I wanna review is the hinesty of the housekeeping. I left my pouch with koney, credit cards and IDs in the room and only realized it when Im already in the airport when I was aBout to board. Upon calling they said they have it in safekeeping so thumbs up in honesty there. Now about sevice the front desk was of little help when asked about uber taxi and semma like he did not know much about it. Not too keen in helping to. As for the space of the room it’s a little too tight and opening your luggage would be a challenge. Not ideal for family
