"This was my first time staying at this hostel, and I absolutely loved it! The overall experience was fantastic. The location is unbeatable, right next to a transportation hub, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, getting around, and finding food. The interior design is simple yet cozy, showing care in every detail. The common areas are clean and elegant, perfect for relaxing and chatting with friends. My room had great natural light and was simply but tastefully furnished. The bedding was soft and clean, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete and spotless, with hot water available at all times, making for an excellent everyday living experience. The staff were thoughtful and attentive, friendly and approachable, patiently answering all my travel questions. The overall vibe was relaxed and comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The other guests were all very friendly. This place offers incredible value for money, making it my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I highly recommend it to all fellow travelers!"

"TA Good Hostel for a Longer Stay in Haikou 🇨🇳 I stayed at Banana International Youth Hostel in Haikou for one night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hostel itself is a good option if you’re planning to stay for a longer period. Unfortunately, I only had one night there, so I didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy what the hostel has to offer. The main downside for a short stay is the location. If you’re only visiting Haikou for one or two nights and want to quickly explore the main attractions, it may not be the most convenient base. "My first time in Haikou, and I chose Backpacker's Ten Years (Qilou Old Street branch) – it totally exceeded my expectations. It's located on the first floor of the Yedao Comprehensive Building on Longkun North Road, really close to Evergreen Park, Qilou Old Street, and Century Bridge. Taxis to anywhere aren't expensive, and there's a bus stop right outside, making it super convenient for solo travelers. As soon as I walked in, the common area impressed me – a mix of Nanyang vintage style with a touch of island vibe. The lobby is spacious and bright, with a pool table, book bar, and coffee corner. It was so relaxing to sit there at night, enjoy the AC, and chat. It's easy to meet cyclists on island tours and backpackers from all over. The dorm area requires a key card for entry and is separated by gender. The 8-bed dorms are spacious, and the lockers are big. The brand-name bedding and fresh air system, combined with the powerful air conditioning, made for a great sleep in Hainan's weather. The bathrooms are separate for men and women, with wet and dry areas, no strange odors, and even washing machines and dryers. The women's area has a vanity mirror and small items – the attention to detail is excellent. But the biggest plus was the people. The front desk staff were lovely; check-in and check-out were fast, and they were ready to help with directions, food recommendations, and luggage storage, just like having a local friend to rely on. The price is friendly for students and budget travelers. With clean beds, a sense of security, and a great social atmosphere, the value for money is fantastic – I'd recommend it without hesitation! I'm definitely planning to check out their other branches in different cities!"

"Close to Shenzhou Station, not many dining options nearby, but you can order KFC for delivery. The hostel is in a self-built house and very spacious. The common area on the first floor is huge, and there's even a hot water dispenser! However, I felt a bit scared walking back alone at night as a female, as the hostel is located in a village. Also, I was in an upper bunk with no curtain, while the lower bunks had them. I suggest installing curtains for the upper bunks too, as the light can be too bright at night. Getting a ride-hailing car to Shenzhou Peninsula, Shimei Bay, and Xinglong Town costs about 20-25 RMB."

"A highly recommended youth hostel, ideally situated alongside the Century Bridge, it's close to Century Park, Haidian Island's North and South Gate Night Market, Xitian Temple Snack Street, the Qilou Historical Pedestrian Street, Dongpo Old Wharf, Sky Inn, Haikou Bay Evergreen Park, Friendship Sunshine City, and Shangbang Parkview City. Both electric bikes and bicycles take just over 10 to 20 minutes to reach, making it a central hub for food, accommodation, and entertainment. It's also conveniently located near Haikou East Station and Chengxi Station, where you can take a taxi to the airport or the New Haikou Port in just over 10 minutes for a little over 10 yuan. A bus is also available from the nearby Citizen and Tourist Service Center. From the windows, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean view and the romantic afterglow of sunsets and sunrises. My visit to Haikou truly impressed me with the city's rapid transformation: its increasingly sophisticated transportation infrastructure, its vibrant urban life, and its increasingly civilized urban order. Although Haikou lacks the prosperity and development of a major city, it offers a sense of freedom and tranquility that comes with retiring from the countryside, a sense of peace and tranquility for a short stay. This seemingly unassuming small city offers us a warm, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, allowing those tired of the hustle and bustle of the city to reflect on the meaning of life in this peaceful place, understanding that life is not just about work, but also about living. This city is for passionate, free-spirited people, and is a perfect place for everyone to find their own happy haven. The atmosphere is very good, there are many friends who can sing for free with microphones at night, I met a lot of friends here, and they will organize werewolf killing at night, so there are 20 or 30 stray cats in his house, you can pet the cats at will, and there is also a big dog named Maomao. "Facilities: There are basically all the facilities needed, and there is a garage where parking is possible. There is a small yard on the first floor, public areas to rest, drink tea, and cute cats. When I had breakfast in the morning, the cats came over to stare at me, haha. There is also a rest area on the 2nd floor, and you can wash clothes and dry clothes on the 3rd floor.
