Natura Vista

It is a beautiful and charming hotel with an original, round swimming pool. There are a lot of nice decorations and mottos, I like the style very much. The room is rather simple and the shared bathroom ok. The common space is nice with places to sit and hammocks to hang in. Everyting is good here except the kitchen service. The first night we wait for dinner for an hour and a half (!) and it's just shrimps and the next day pinakbet is poor. For breakfast we have a greasy omelette. They have a note they serve coffee with a free biscuit and beer with free nuts which is not true, the snacks are not available. There are no eating options in the village. The beach is nice but nothing special. There are no shops nearby.
Sherwood Bay Resort & Aqua Sports

The environment is good, the seaside, the rooms are better, but there are ant holes everywhere, huge ants are endless, and eating and drinking in the room is definitely not good. When we went, the swimming pool was being rebuilt, and there was no Note: I'm disappointed. I feel that Ctrip also cheated. For more than 800 nights, I went to the seaside swimming pool, but the result was not. From the hotel to Alona Beach, a car of 400p is enough, but because of the remoteness, it was called by the hotel, 550p. I asked the driver and said that he could n’t pick it up. He had to pass the hotel. The hotel had to make 150p. I got the same business car, 400p. It feels like this is more than 800 a night, it's too pit, the platform is pit, and the store is pit. Don't look at the pictures when you set the room later.

I'm surprise to read quite a few negative reviews here about this hotel. Unfortunately, it pulled their ratings down as well. Too bad as this hotel really did a great job for us. First off, the staff was friendly and super accommodating! This is a last minute overnight booking for us. We were supposed to stay with a family but since our flight got delayed, we had to book here for the meantime. The late night airport transfer (airport pick-up) was the most convenient, as well as very helpful. The driver even offered to take us grocery shopping if needed. I mean, our flight arrived 1030pm via Korea (with 10hours layover) so both my teen son and I were exhausted. It's good to know we have someone reliable and friendly waiting for us. Despite the late night check-in, the staffs were smiling, cheerful and gave us a welcome lei necklace or shell necklace. It's my teen son's first time in Bohol, so he was happy at this unexpected welcome experience. Furthermore, our booking included a dinner for 2 but since we missed that due to our flight delay and will be checking out the next day, the staff changed that to 2 free lunch instead. That's another convenience for us, since our family will pick us up after lunch the next day. Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable - 2 double beds, strong shower pressure, cold a/c and our room included a welcome water bottles for us, which again is an add on convenience for us (esp. arriving super late at night). With a teen in tow, WiFi is important. No issues on that as their WiFi was pretty strong. The hotel itself is situated in the quiet side of Pangloa, which is a plus for us exhausted travelers. We slept and rested very well that night after a nice hot shower. The next day, my teen was excited to look around the hotel property. The pool area was clean, huge and nicely decorated. It has that island feel to it. Unfortunately, it rained and there's a lightning/thunder alert hence he was unable to swim in the pool. However, we had fun strolling around the property. It has a welcoming vibe to it. We ate at their restaurant for lunch, even invited family over. Over all, a convenient, relaxing- stress free and comfortable overnight stay here. Will we stay here again? Definitely!

The beauty of the place itself you'll see on images and other comments.. so I will focus on some other infos: You can rent a bike from them (~500 php/day) and start to various activities on Bohol or visit Alona Beach. We also did the common countryside tour (blood compact, tarsier, floating restaurant, zip line and chocolate hills) with a bike from here (if you book a guided tour it will cost you at least 2500 php). For hospitality I would have to rate 6 stars, Ernest and his employees around Sylvi helped us out with nearly everything we asked. Whether we had to call someone, print something or book a ride to the airport they helped us and were always super friendly. Also Ernest gave us a lot of tips what to do on Bohol. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back some day. Thank you very much! (Just one little tip from us, maybe install a mosquito net over the beds ;-))

I booked this villa for my boyfriend birthday on the 30Oct-1Nov. The pictures I posted here, and on the internet does not justify how amazing the villa is. Especially the service, we loved it so much here, we actually extend one more night 😬. The service was super good, they had like a phone for every room and anytime you needed something all you need to do is use the phone to Whatsapp them and they will respond immediately (24/7) Our resort was so near the ocean that they also offered free Kayaking & snorkelling, and they provide all the gears at NO COST. Honestly I was so impressed because they also cater one tour guide for you to do the snorkelling. The ocean so sooo sooooo clear also ya~ Not only that all rooms has a private pool all to yourself, and they provide you speaker and if you want to iron your clothes, they would also help you iron. Everything was just top-notched. Oh yes, a special shoutout to our driver LIM, he was so nice and informative, we wanted to go to the churches, he actually brought us around without extra cost. He also made sure that we were safe, we felt so comfortable with him that we would definitely hope to see him in the future at the resort again. Anyways if y’all read till the end, sorry that my english is broken ya ~ But this was hands down the BEST service BEST hotel I ever stayed. ❤️
