Maybe because it was bank holiday meant the price was dearer. Definitely not worth £150 a night. But the bed was great. The bathroom a god size. As a guest however I feel I should not have been denied a dink at 10-45 . As the bar was open . But as a paying guest no service. I would not the recommend this hotel at the price I paid. £75 a fairer ask. The breakfast was good. The bacon top notch however.

Booked an afternoon tea, it was definitely a 5 star experience. Loved that on arrival there were signs instructing you to park within the bays (the bays are nice and big, so no excuse for the entitled driver to park over the lines). Got a friendly and welcoming greeting from the reception staff. On entering the dining room, another wonderful welcome. Dining room was immaculately clean and the table was perfect. A delicious, well thought out selection of sweet and savoury foods was delivered to the table. All the waiting staff were clean, tidy and polite, nothing was too much. I would highly recommend a visit, such a lovely, relaxing experience, complemented by staff that are attentive and professional. 5 stars every day of the week……loved it.
